Get PDFModern transport infrastructure of Moscow is undergoing fundamental changes. Inside the city at large freight stations a frame made of terminal and logistics centers is created to optimize local work and to further increase the volume of cargo processed. The article examines challenges faced by metropolitan freight stations, and offers methods for solving issues relating to organization of local work, reconstruction of stations, an increase in the volume of cargo transportation, logistics activities of transportation companies.Современная транспортная инфраструктура Москвы претерпевает коренные изменения. Внутри города на крупных грузовых станциях создается каркас из терминально-логистических центров, позволяющий оптимизировать местную работу и в дальнейшем увеличить перерабатываемые объёмы грузов. В статье исследуются проблемы, с которыми сталкиваются столичные грузовые станции, и предлагаются методы решения вопросов, связанных с организацией местной работы, реконструкцией станций, увеличением объёмов грузоперевозок, логистической деятельностью транспортных компаний

Subsidiaries and affiliates of JSC Russian Railways, presented as a single business unit in this market face regularly problems of acquiring competitive advantages that are seen in the growth of contract logistics segment. Interaction of the companies in this power balance is one of the conditions to enhance their viability and sustainability. However, administrative decisions making in the field of interaction and integration of companies should be based on the methods of assessing the effectiveness of mesologistics systems, which this article is devoted to.Развитие мезологистических систем на рынке транспортно-логистического бизнеса связано с совершенствованием деятельности их территориальных подразделений. Дочерние зависимые общества ОАО «РЖД», представленные как единый бизнес-блок на этом рынке, регулярно сталкиваются с проблемами приобретения конкурентных преимуществ, которые видятся в росте сегмента контрактной логистики. Взаимодействие компаний при таком раскладе сил – одно из условий повышения их жизнеспособности и устойчивости. Get PDFThis is the final part of the review article (for the first part see World of Transport and Transportation, 2014, Vol.12, Iss. 6, pp.212–221) showing that diesel engines of the first post-war II generation were characterized by inherent structural deficiencies of new developments, unfinished ideas. The results of studies carried out in that period are considered, technical solutions taken at that time are critically analyzed, including those that aimed at addressing identified problems. The analysis allowed the authors, in particular, to draw conclusions that for this generation of diesel engines brands of used metals, wear resistance and fatigue strength of cast iron, features of bearing fillets, cylinder block group, the quality of welded joints had the fundamental importance. As follows from the obtained data, engine components are not equal in their impact on engine reliability and working life, form their levels of importance, have their own «place» in the design of the engine structure as a system.В публикуемой обзорной статье (начало см.: «МТ», 2014, № 6) показано, что для тепловозных дизелей первого послевоенного поколения были характерны свойственные новым разработкам конструкционные недостатки, незавершенные идеи. Рассмотрены результаты исследований, выполненных в тот период, проанализированы с критических позиций принятые в то время технические решения, в том числе нацеленные и на устранение выявленных проблем. Анализ позволил, в частности, сделать выводы о том, что для дизелей этого поколения принципиально важными являлись марки применяемых металлов, износостойкость и усталостная прочность чугуна, особенности галтелей коленчатого вала, элементов блока цилиндров, качество сварных соединений.

The authors give interpretation of concepts and functions involved in the system, evaluate structure and content, procedure and parameters of measurements in the spatial environment of the object under study. The created reference system is in some kind an alternative to the traditional type of geodetic works.Статья посвящена методу геодезического обеспечения текущего содержания железнодорожного пути, связанному с применением реперной системы. Авторы дают толкование понятиям и функциям, причастным к системе, оценивают структуру и содержание, порядок и параметры измерений в пространственной среде исследуемого объекта. Созданная реперная система выступает в какой-то степени альтернативой геодезическим работам традиционного типа
