PENGARUH BAHAN ORGANIK TERHADAP POPULASI Aspergilhis flavus PADA BEBERAPA JENIS TANAH
The objective of the research was to study the effect of soil type and organic matters applied on the growth of innoculated Aspergilus flavus. Considering the caracleristics of soil and organic matter source types, the organic carbon content total nitrogen content. C/N ratio and pH of the soil were analized.
The research design used was completely randomized block design with two factors, namely soil type (regosol, grucmosol and latosol) and organik matters applied (control; manure and straw). Treatment replication was considered as variation source of block.
It was indicated that there was signcant effect (P < 0,05) of soil type on the growth of the fungsi. Latosol tended to give higher growth than regosol and grumosol. Though no significant effect of organics matters indicated, the fungsi showed better growth with application of straw. It seemed the result had nothing to do with the carbon and nitrogen content of the soil. They might be caused by other factors that should be studied furthe

KAJIAN MACAM PUPUK ORGANIK DAN DOSIS PUPUK P TERHADAP HASIL KACANG TANAH (Arachis hypogaea L.) Dl TANAH ENTISOL
The aim of the study was to know the affect of organic fertilizer kind and dosage of P fertilizer to yield of peanut(Arachis hypogxa L) on entisol. The research was carried out at Colomadu, Karanganyar from September 1999 to January 2000. The field research design was factorial arranged in Completely Randomized Block Design, consist of two factors : organic Fertilizer and Dosage ofP fertiilizer. The first factor was kind of organic fertilizer: bokhasi (O1), animal manure (O,) and fine compost (O3). The second factor was dosage of P fertilizer consist of four doses: without P fertilizer (P0), 50 kg SP-36 /ha (P1), 100 kg SP-36 /ha (P2) and 150 kg SP-36 /ha (P3). The study indicated that the kind of organic fertilizer non significant to soil pH, available Pemegang, height of plant, total of fill pod, total of empty pod, weight of fresh pod of plant and weight of 100 seeds and significant to fresh weight of plant, weight of fresh pod of plot, weight of dry pods of plot and weight of seed of plant. Bokhasi indicated better affect than animal manure and fine compost. P fertilizer incraesed weight fresh pod of plot and weight of dry of plot

KAJIAN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN ASAM ORGANIK DAN ANORGANIK DALAM MELARUTKAN FOSFAT DARI BATUAN FOSFAT ALAM
Study of Organic and Inorganic Acid Capabilities in Solubilize Phosphatic Rock‐P. Phosphatic rock has been used as phosphate fertilizer for along time and now being an alternative of P fertilizer. But its low solubility making them uneffective source of P for plant. Many attempt to increases their solubility has been done i.e. by acidulated it with organic and inorganic acid. Inorganic acid solubilize mineral P by acidification while organic acid by acidification and maybe chelating mechanism. The aim of this research is to study the effectivity of the two kind of acid, organic (citric acid) and inorganic acid (sulphuric acid) in solubilizing phosphatic rock‐P. Research has conducted in May – Oct 2007 at Soil Biology Laboratory, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. The experiment arranged in Completely Randomized Design with three level of sulphuric acid concentration (0.00 M, 0.02 M and 0.04 M), three level of citric acid concentration (0.00 M, 0.02 M and 0.04M) and three kind of phosphatic rock (Christmas Island, Ciamis and Madura) origin. Each of combination treatment replicated three times. A gram of each phosphatic rock was added to 50 ml of aquades in 150 ml erlenmeyer flask and shoke continuously at 200 rpm in reciprocal shaker. Water soluble‐P and pH were analysed at 0, 3, 6 and 9 day after incubation time. All data was analysed for anova at 95% level of significance and continued with DMRT if any significance differences. Research show that inorganic acid (sulphuric acid) solubilize phosphatic rock‐P stronger than organic acid, except for high content Al phosphatic rock, where the two kind of acid have equal P‐solubilizing capacity. Maybe, the high P‐solubilizing capacity of organic acid for high Al‐phosphatic rock caused by its ability in chelating Al. PERTUMBUHAN DAN KUALITAS Anthurium hookeri PADA BERBAGAI PEMBERIAN BORON
Title : The Growth and Quality of Anthurium hookeri on Various Boron Application. Anthurium hookeri is one of ornamental plants having high economical and aesthetic value, however they growth slowly. For accelerate their growth can be done by giving accurate nutrient and appropriate concentration. Boron is one of essential nutrient for plant having important role in cell wall and translocation carbohydrate. The aim of this research is to study the effect of applying boron on growth of A. hookeri and to find out the appropriate boron concentration for growth of A. hookeri. The research was arranged based on Split Plot Design with 2 factors and 4 replicates. The main factor was the kind of A. hookeri (green and red) and the sub plot was boron concentration with 4 levels e.i (0; 0,3; 0,6; and 0,9 ppm). The data observation ware analyzed by variance analysis and continued by Duncan Multiple Range Test in level 95 %. The research showed that there was no interaction between the kinds of A. hookeri and boron concentration. Application boron 0,3 ppm increase plant height, number of leaf, and width of leaf red A. hookeri, application boron 0,9 ppm rise plant height, number of leaf, width and quality of the green A. hookeri. KAJIAN STATUS HARA MAKRO Ca, Mg, DAN S TANAH SAWAH KAWASAN INDUSTRI DAERAH KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR
Title : Study of Paddy Soil Makro Nutrient Ca, Mg, and S StatusIn The Industrial Zona in Karanganyar Regency. This research was aimed to mapping Ca, Mg, S nutrient status. soil analysis was done in the soil chemistry and fertility, Department Soil science of agriculture faculty sebelas maret university on May until July 2008. This research is descriptive explorative research trough soil survey and the soil analysis was executed in laboratory. Soil sampling is based on grid sampling technique by soil aspect and administration maps. Work maps for these research used scale 1:100.000. Making of land unit maps was base on overlay between soil ordo, slope, and soil texture maps. From the overlay was resulted 9 landscape. Nutrient status rating is base on Pusat Penelitian Tanah (1980). Data analysis can be done by calculating base on laboratory analysis result, then matching with the level of each nutrient. The result of this research show that Ca nutrient status is between low and high. The low Ca nutrient status is on SPL 3and 9, and the SPL that is included on the high status are SPL 2 and 8, and the others include on medium status. Available Mg nutrient status in the research area is on SPL 3, high level is on SPL 7 and 9, and the others is included on very high level. The very low S nutrient status is on SPL 9, the high nutrient status is on SPL 2 and 6 and the the others are the medium nutrient status. the lowest plant production is on the part of Wonosari and Dayu (SPL 9), i.e 0,8 ton/ha and the highest production is on the part of Tasikmadu and Kebakkramat subdistrict i.e 10 ton/ha. Industrial zone is the area that the most of its area is used for industrial development. The industrial zone of this research area is on SPL 2, 3 and 6. Ca nutrient status on the SPL 2, 3 and 6 very high, low and moderat. Mg nutrient status on the SPL 2 and 6 very high and on SPL 3 low.
