Conflict between physical analysis and mathematics causing failure: A case on diode circuits
This study aims to describe the causes of students\u27 failures in solving diode circuit problems. Research data were obtained through tests, dialogs, and interviews with 12 students of the physics education study program at Universitas PGRI Madiun. The research began by providing diode circuit test questions. Referring to the answers to the diode circuit test questions, an investigation was conducted through a basic circuit mastery test, followed by dialogs and interviews. The data from the test results, dialogs, and interviews in this study led to the conclusion that the common causes of students\u27 failures in solving diode circuit problems are the inability to apply Ohm\u27s law and Kirchhoff\u27s law correctly, as well as the inconsistency and lack of systematic application of basic circuit concepts. A specific finding regarding the causes of failure in solving diode circuit problems is the conflict between physical and mathematical analyses. Based on the common causes of students\u27 failures in solving diode circuit problems, a series of conceptual scaffolding needs to be designed. In conceptual scaffolding, complex circuits are transformed into several basic circuits to facilitate scaffolding for each basic concept. Procedural scaffolding needs to be designed to address failures resulting from the conflict between physical and mathematical analyses. One necessary step in procedural scaffolding is confirming answers using Kirchhoff\u27s law
Enhanced learning: Designing bifocal modeling practicum tools with ESP32 for exploring kinetic theory of gases
This research was conducted to obtain an initial design for a laboratory practical tool based on bifocal modeling assisted by an ESP32 microcontroller for kinetic gas theory. This study was conducted to obtain an initial design for a practical laboratory tool based on bifocal modeling assisted by the ESP32 microcontroller on the kinetic theory of gases. This study was conducted descriptively through a literature review of various book articles and materials. Interviews were conducted with students and physics teachers in high schools (9 students and two teachers in Malang, 15 students and three teachers in Bandung) in Indonesia. Interviews were conducted to obtain an overview of the application of physics learning and reveal other potential problems students and teachers face. The design of the bifocal modeling tool developed has been consulted with physics and ICT learning experts. The results are that it needs to be further developed and maintained until the manufacturing stage. Bifocal modeling based on the design developed in this study has the potential to facilitate students to conduct scientific experiments related to the kinetic theory of gases. Based on the equipment to be developed, it is expected that students will be able to observe macroscopic gas phenomena through actual experiments, monitor microscopic phenomena visualized through computer models, collect data in actual experiments and computer simulations, and compare data. Students\u27 understanding of the concept of the kinetic theory of gases has the potential to be improved by conducting practical work using bifocal modeling-based tools
Forming the mental and disciplinary character of students through extracurricular scouting activities at school
Scout extracurricular is a non-formal extracurricular activity that becomes a place for mental formation and fosters students\u27 disciplinary character. Elementary school is the initial place to foster children\u27s character. This study aims to describe various kinds of implementation, efforts, impacts, and problems of Scout\u27s extracurricular activities in forming elementary school students\u27 mental and disciplinary character. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, which looks at phenomena that occur in the school field and interviews with related subjects. The results of this study show that Scout extracurricular is a mandatory extracurricular with various forms of fun and educational activities for children. Education in Scouting activities has a positive effect on improving student discipline and mentality. However, issues still need to be solved so that Scouting activities can provide maximum education to students
Increasing interest in learning through the traditional paper crack game in primary school students
This research aims to increase students\u27 interest in learning through the application of the traditional Ektas game media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this research were 27 students consisting of 13 male students and 14 female students. The data collection techniques used were observation techniques, interest questionnaires, field notes and documentation. Data analysis in this research is descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. Based on the research results, the percentage of students\u27 interest in learning increased rapidly from the results of observation measurements in cycle I of 71.92%, increasing in cycle II to 90.37%. This was also followed by an increase in the results of the questionnaire measuring interest in learning from 71.48% in cycle II to 90.40%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the traditional Ektas game media can increase students\u27 interest in learning
Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa
This research was conducted to improve the learning outcomes of class VIII SMP S Beer Seba Pekanbaru students by utilizing the problem based learning (PBL) model. This research uses a classroom action research strategy based on Kemmis and Mc Taggart. There are two cycles and each cycles has 4 distinct phases in conducting this research: preparation, implementation, observation, and analysis. A total of seventeen eighth grade students (11 boys and 6 girls) from Beer Seba Middle School in Pekanbaru participated in this research. This research data was collected using test sheets given at the end of the cycle and teacher and student observation sheets given at the beginning of each session. Analyzing student learning outcome data and teacher and student activity data is the data analysis technique used. Analysis of research data shows that the learning process and mathematics learning outcomes have increased between the periods before and after the action. This can be seen from the increase in student completion rates and the increasingly aligned teacher and student activities with the plan for each session. In cycle I, 41.17% of students obtained basic KKM scores; in cycle II this figure increased to 64.7%; and in cycle III it increased again to 82.3%
Analisis Kesalahan Siswa pada Soal Cerita Matematika dalam Pembelajaran Missouri Mathematic Project
Kondisi yang saat ini dialami siswa, terjadi berbagai kesalahan- dilakukan saat menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika. Akibat dari kesalahan siswa, tidak banyak siswa yang dapat mengerjakan soal cerita matematika dengan tepat. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan pada soal cerita matematika dalam pembelajaran Missouri Mathematic Project (MMP). Penelitiam dilakukan di SMP Negeri 4 Jangkang Kabupaten Sanggau Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengecekan data. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, tes dan wawancara. Keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi metode. Hasil penelitian bahwa kesalahan membaca tidak menemukan kesalahan pada subjek penelitian yang menunjukan tidak ada indikasi kesalahan membaca pada siswa. Kesalahan memahami ditemukan ada empat subjek melakukan kesalahan yang mengindikasikan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita ada kesalahan siswa. Kesalahan tranformasi ditemukan dua subjek yaitu tidak menuliskan rumus yang digunakan dalam menyelesaikan soal, dan aspek keterampilan ditemukan bahwa tidak ada siswa yang melakukan kesalahan. Kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir ditemukan siswa dominan melakukan keslahan pada akhir jawaban soal. Disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran Missouri Mathematic Project (MMP) berhasil dan memenuhi KKM sekolah. Peneliti selanjutnya, sebaiknya pertanyaan yang diajukan dapat menggali letak kesalahan siswa agar mengetahui lebih lengkap jenis kesalahan berdasarkan kriteria Newman
RANCANG BANGUN MARKETPLACE PRODUK UMKM DI KABUPATEN NATUNA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PROTOTYPING
Natuna Regency, a potential region in tourism, fisheries, plantations, and SMEs, faces challenges in digital SME marketing. Constraints involve product limitations, brand image difficulties, and cross-border regulatory complexity. This study designs a web-based SME product sales information system in Natuna using a prototyping model, emphasizing SME empowerment. Through prototyping, system development ensures interactive involvement between developers and users, making the system more responsive to user needs. User Acceptance Test results indicate 88,58% of respondents agree that this system can positively contribute to the local economy and facilitate SME growth in Natuna Regency
Inovasi Pembelajaran Bahasa dengan Metode Sugestopedia
Abstract. This study examines the implementation of the suggestopedia method in Indonesian language learning at the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, Islamic University of Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo. Utilizing a qualitative approach with action research methodology, this study involved 5 lecturers and 50 students over one semester. The results show significant improvements in student motivation and confidence, with a decrease in language anxiety from 65% to 30%. Students\u27 language proficiency increased, with an average improvement of 28% in speaking skills and 22% in writing skills. Long-term retention of learning materials improved by 40% compared to conventional methods. Implementation challenges included initial adaptation by lecturers and students, resource limitations, and integration with existing curricula. The study also revealed positive impacts on lecturers\u27 professional development, with 80% reporting increased creativity and teaching motivation. These findings have important implications for curriculum development and language education policies in higher education. Further research is needed to explore the long-term impacts and potential for wider application of the suggestopedia method. Abstrak. Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi metode sugestopedia dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di Program Studi Tadris Bahasa Indonesia, Universitas Islam Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian tindakan, studi ini melibatkan 5 dosen dan 50 mahasiswa selama satu semester. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam motivasi dan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa, dengan penurunan tingkat kecemasan berbahasa dari 65% menjadi 30%. Kemampuan berbahasa mahasiswa meningkat, dengan kenaikan rata-rata 28% dalam keterampilan berbicara dan 22% dalam keterampilan menulis. Retensi materi pembelajaran jangka panjang meningkat 40% dibandingkan metode konvensional. Tantangan implementasi meliputi adaptasi awal dosen dan mahasiswa, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan integrasi dengan kurikulum yang ada. Studi ini juga mengungkapkan dampak positif pada pengembangan profesional dosen, dengan 80% melaporkan peningkatan kreativitas dan motivasi mengajar. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi penting untuk pengembangan kurikulum dan kebijakan pendidikan bahasa di tingkat perguruan tinggi. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak jangka panjang dan potensi penerapan metode sugestopedia dalam skala yang lebih luas.

Tantangan Penegakan Hukum pada Tindak Kejahatan Transnasional di Kawasan Perbatasan Laut Indonesia
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hambatan dalam penegakan hukum terhadap kejahatan transnasional di kawasan perbatasan laut Indonesia dan kerjasama dan koordinasi antara lembaga penegakan hukum skala nasional dan internasional dalam mengatasi kejahatan transnasional di kawasan perbatasan laut Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah normatif dan metode pengumpulan data yang akan digunakan (Library Research). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya kerjasama seperti Bantuan Hukum Timbal Balik masih ada hambatan, termasuk perselisihan batas laut yang belum terselesaikan. Selain itu, meskipun sejumlah negara ASEAN mengadopsi strategi khusus untuk mengatasi kejahatan transnasional, terutama dalam kasus peredaran narkotika, perbedaan persepsi mengenai bahaya narkoba dapat menjadi tantangan. Kerjasama regional di kawasan perbatasan laut Indonesia menjadi kunci dalam menangani masalah keamanan lintas batas. Melalui Badan Keamanan Laut Republik Indonesia (BAKAMLA), Indonesia telah menegaskan komitmennya untuk melindungi kedaulatan maritim dan memerangi kejahatan transnasional. Kerjasama antarnegara, seperti yang terjadi dalam Rapat Koordinasi antara BAKAMLA dan Delegasi TIM Perencana Operasi Maritim (TPOM) Malindo Malaysia, menjadi kunci dalam meningkatkan keamanan dan kerjasama maritim
Kinematics analysis on accelerated motion using tracker video analysis for educational purposes
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of video analysis tracker-based practicum on the material of the motion of objects on an inclined plane and the motion of objects in free fall. The use of video tracker analysis-based practicum is useful for determining some kinematics parameters of objects that cannot only be calculated by traditional practicum methods. By using the video tracker analysis method, all object kinematics parameters can be found directly in visual form. The results show that (1) There is no relationship between mass and kinematics parameters. (2) There is an influence due to air friction on the acceleration value of the object. (3) The suitability of the concept with the tracker application produced with the error value in the experiment of object motion on an inclined plane () (4) The suitability of the concept with the tracker application produced with the error value in the experiment of object motion in free fall () Â (5) The graphical representation of the tracker is in accordance with the theory studied. This research implies that the existence of learning using practicum, especially practicum-based video tracker analysis can improve understanding and process skills in understanding science concepts. This research is written so that the programme can be further applied to science education
