    No full text
The development of information technology now makes it easier for humans to complete work. To meet the communication needs of SMK 1 Pogalan, one of them uses wireless networks. Where users who want to use network services with wireless transmission media simply enter a shared key to be able to directly use all resources on the network it makes wireless security vulnerable because it only uses one layer of security, in addition all service users do not yet have centrally controlled settings real time. Authentication, authorizing and accounting (AAA) is a mechanism for verifying user data relating to users and passwords granting access rights to verified users and recording user activities related to data flow through the system. This mechanism is available in the radius protocol that was specifically built to provide these services. Collaboration of the radius server and hotspot service on a proxy router that supports the AAA protocol is expected to improve network security better than before. By testing, monitoring and analysis using the PPDIOO method. From the results of tests conducted using the external radius server can increase the security of wireless networks, user settings, and can monitor network usage in real time making it easier for administrators to manage the network

Academic writing is commonly identified as one of the most difficult skills for university students. It requires expertise in linguistic accuracy, critical thinking, and conformity to rhetorical conventions. Traditional writing instruction, however, often emphasizes mechanical correctness and end products at the expense of the recursive, reflective, and social nature of the writing process. The article discusses how the integration of technology supports the teaching of academic writing by offering scaffolding for student learning, supporting collaborative work, encouraging reflective practices, and advocating a process-based approach to teaching. By referencing current trends in language acquisition and education, the article highlights how digital tools, such as grammar-checking software, online collaborative environments, and electronic portfolios, reshape students\u27 experiences with writing tasks. It also identifies barriers like the risk of over-reliance on automated feedback, inequalities of digital access, and the need for teacher preparation in digital methods of teaching. The discussion concludes that technology, when applied reflectively and pedagogically, not only enhances the teaching of academic writing but prepares students for ongoing learning and effective professional communication in the age of digital technologies

    Get PDF
Twenty-first-century education demands a transformation in teaching strategies, with a focus on cultivating higher-order thinking skills, especially critical thinking. Observations and interviews at SD Negeri 2 Bendoagung, SD Negeri 3 Bendoagung, and SD Negeri 2 Karangrejo revealed that students\u27 critical thinking skills are still relatively low. One of the underlying causes is the application of instructional methods that fail to sufficiently stimulate critical thinking. This study seeks to investigate the effect of incorporating traditional engklek games into a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students’ critical thinking abilities in science education. The research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach, specifically using a nonequivalent control group design. The sample was selected purposively, involving fourth-grade students from SD Negeri 2 and 3 Bendoagung as the experimental group, while students from SD Negeri 2 Karangrejo acted as the control group. Data were gathered using a critical thinking test, and analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests, followed by an independent sample t-test. Results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group, with a 46.55% increase in critical thinking performance, compared to only 11.11% in the control group. The hypothesis test produced a significance (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which is below the 0.05 threshold indicating that the integration of traditional engklek games within a PBL framework has a positive impact on students’ critical thinking skills
