According to the World Health Organization, coronary heart disease, including STEMI and NSTEMI, is the leading cause of noncommunicable disease-related mortality worldwide. First treatment for STEMI-NSTEMI patients was reperfusion with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI). Anxiety increases the difficulty of controlling cardiac disease in patients with a diagnosis of STEMI and NSTEMI who will undergo PCI surgery. This study employs a cross-sectional correlation analysis methodology. Patients with coronary heart disease diagnosed with STEMI and NSTEMI who are receiving treatment at Bangil Hospital constituted the population. Forty respondents were selected using a technique called purposive sampling. Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) is the independent variable. While apprehension levels are the dependent variable. At a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.05, Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted, indicating that there was a correlation between preparation for surgery (Giving Informed Consent) Percutaneous Coronary Intervention and anxiety levels in STEMI - NSTEMI patients at Bangil Hospital. Consent was obtained prior to the decision to perform PCI. If the patient agrees to informed consent, the procedure will continue; if the patient refuses, the procedure will not be performed. The conclusion of this study is that Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) procedures are associated with a lower level of anxiety the better the preparation for surgery (providing informed consent) is

Antibiotics are drugs that we often encounter in everyday life, not infrequently doctors often prescribe this one drug, but in use in the community there are still often errors in consuming antibiotics resulting in antibiotic resistance or resistance to an antibiotic. The occurrence of misuse of antibiotics is caused by lack of public knowledge and lack of education from medical personnel in hospitals. Low level of knowledge about the use of antibiotics can cause inappropriate use of antibiotics, so there is a risk of causing antibiotic side effects. Providing education is one way that can be used to increase knowledge about the rational use of antibiotics. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of public knowledge about how to use antibiotics and antibiotic resistance. The study was conducted in Dupok Village, Bangakalan Regency, this type of research was cross sectional through a survey with questionnaire media. Sampling was carried out using the cluster sampling method involving 100 households (Family Heads). The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire with a total of 10 questions. The data obtained is then analyzed descriptively

Schistosomiasis is a zoonotic disease and a public health problem. The cause is a type of worm parasite from the schistosomatidae family which has a habitat in the blood vessels around the intestines or bladder. Schistosomiasis is a parasitic disease caused by blood trematode worms of the genus Schistosoma. Chronic schistosomiasis can reduce the ability of sufferers to work, and in some cases cause death. This study aims to get an overview of the factors that cause recurrent schistosomiasis or reinfection that occurs in the community. Descriptive correlation with the analytic case control study approach, namely retrospective observational analytic research where effects or outcomes are traced back to identify relationships by comparing cases and controls. Sampling in this study were patients who were infected with schistosomiasis as case respondents and those who were not infected with schistosomiasis as control respondents. There is a relationship between the behavior of the community or respondents who are often active in rivers or ditches, often passing through conch focus areas and not utilizing health service facilities with the incidence of respondent schistosomiasis in the community in North Lore District, Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. Conversely, there is no relationship between the characteristics of the respondents which include age, gender, education level, marital status and employment with the incidence of schistosomiasis. Conclusion, the habitual behavior of respondents who often move in the river is related to the incidence of disease schistosomiasis, so that it can be concluded that the main factor causing someone to suffer from schistosomiasis is not due to the characteristics of the respondents in the community in North Lore sub-district, Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi Province

Pregnant women are at risk of experiencing anemia, which can have health impacts such as bleeding and giving birth to low birth weight babies (LBW). The global prevalence of anemia is 43%, while in Indonesia it is 37.1%, and in the Rantau Pulung Community Health Center (Puskesmas) area, it is 39.3%. Efforts to address low hemoglobin levels often involve regular consumption of iron tablets during pregnancy. Non-pharmacological interventions include the consumption of dragon fruit, rich in vitamin C, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, and protein, to increase hemoglobin levels. To determine the influence of dragon fruit on increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women with anemia in the working area of the Rantau Pulung Community Health Center. This study utilized a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test post-test non-equivalent control group. The study population included a total of 26 pregnant women with anemia. The sampling technique used was total sampling, resulting in 26 participants divided into an experimental group of 13 and a control group of 13. The measurement tool was observation of hemoglobin levels. Data analysis employed paired t-tests and independent t-tests. There was a difference in hemoglobin levels before and after the administration of iron tablets combined with dragon fruit by 1.1692 g%, and a difference in hemoglobin levels before and after the administration of iron tablets by 0.7077 g%. The administration of iron tablets combined with dragon fruit was effective in increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women in the working area of the Rantau Pulung Community Health Center in East Kutai Regency, with a p-value of 0.004. Consuming 500 g of dragon fruit daily can increase the hemoglobin levels of pregnant women due to its content of vitamin C, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, and protein. The administration of dragon fruit effectively increases hemoglobin levels in pregnant women

THE EFFECT OF EARLY MOBILIZATION ON UTERINE INVOLUTION AFTER CESAREAN SECTION

    Get PDF
The rate of births through cesarean section is 17.6% (Riskesdas, 2018). Uterine involution is the process of the uterus returning to its pre-pregnancy state in terms of both form and position. Early mobilization is a policy aimed at promptly guiding patients out of bed and encouraging them to walk as soon as possible. Failure to engage in early mobilization can result in an increase in body temperature due to inadequate uterine involution, preventing the removal of residual blood and leading to infections. The objective of this study is to determine the effect of early mobilization on uterine involution in patients after Cesarean Section at Kudungga Kutai Timur Regional General Hospital. This study employs a quasi-experimental research design in the form of a two-group posttest-only design to assess the impact of early mobilization on uterine involution after Cesarean Section at Kudungga Kutai Timur Regional General Hospital. The study includes a sample size of 10 respondents in the intervention group and 10 respondents in the control group. The consecutive sampling technique is used for sampling. Research instruments include observation sheets. The results of the Mann-Whitney test show a significance value of 0.008 (p<0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0). It can be concluded that there is a difference in uterine involution after early mobilization in patients after Cesarean Section in the postpartum ward of Kudungga Regional General Hospital in 2023
