Get PDFIslamic education for Iqbal must include the totality of human, which in the process must provide the widest possible space for movement and creativity. Muhammad Iqbal, who has a background as a philosopher, often calls of muslims to want to move and not be trapped in boredom. On the other hand, the psychomotor domain is a concept that emphasizes movement intelligence and creativity in skills. This study aims to discover new things of Muhammad Iqbal’s thought and their relevance to the psychomotor domain of students in Islamic education. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach. The result of this research is that the concept of Islamic education brought by Muhammad Iqbal invites people not only to be satisfied with scientific understanding, but also to take the initiative and move to practice their knowledge. This has relevance to psychomotor which with cognitive understanding capital than follows up with skills or physical movement

One of them is a stimulus in learning Calistung (reading, writing, and arithmetic) because this Calistung is a milestone for lifelong learning. During the pandemic, learning is carried out online and face-to-face, which is limited because it must be following strict health protocols. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the efforts made by teachers in improving the calistung skills of class IA students at MIN 2 Banjarmasin. The results obtained in this study are the teacher\u27s efforts in improving students\u27 Calistung skills, the teacher plans to learn well through making lesson plans; using learning models, strategies, and methods that enable students to actively participate in learning; holding games that support Calistung learning; provide motivation to increase students\u27 enthusiasm for learning, and provide additional study hours for students who need more guidance in Calistung

Get PDFThe research focused on the implementation of character building to improve students’ life skills and the implication of character building on students’ life skills in PPBM. It was carried out using a qualitative approach and case study design in business units of PPBM. The data source of the research consisted of the caretakers, teachers, the head of the vocational training center, and students involved in the management, work, and training in various business units. The researcher collected the data using observation, interviews, open questionnaires, and documentation. The key instrument of the research is the researcher herself. However, the researcher employed research instruments of observation, interview, and open questionnaire to help her during the process. The data was analyzed using description, condensation, categorization, and interpretation processes.The result of the research shows that (1) to improve students’ life skills, character building is carried out by understanding the vision, mission, and objectives of the Islamic boarding school. The learning starts from the production of goods and services using sources and learning media in an extensive way (involving tutors and professionals of certain business unit), internship, independent learning using internet (Youtube, WA, Instagram, and other social media), the practice of management, work, and training in the business units, assessment, and authentic evaluation by involving students in the management and work of business unit; the learning monitoring is done by report and reflection on their performance in each business unit; (2) The implication of character building on students’ life skills includes the developing of students’ individual skill, awareness to live independent, religious competence (praying attitude, being grateful and patient, being responsible, struggling, and serious in work); social competence, namely the competence to communicate, collaborate, and cooperate; academic competence; and vocational competence, namely the competence to work in business unit experienced by students in PPBM.

The unpreparedness of teachers or students in certain areas due to inadequate access, for example, internet network constraints and communication tools. To achieve good learning, school principals determine policies in the pandemic era with proper considerations. This study focuses on revealing the principal\u27s strategy for dealing with the learning process in the pandemic era at Mohammad Hatta Lowokwaru Islamic Elementary School, Malang. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The research instrument is the researcher himself, the auxiliary instruments are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources are primary and secondary. The results showed that the principal\u27s strategy in the pandemic era was conducting training for teachers who had difficulty adapting to online learning, supervising teachers during online learning, providing advice, and motivating teachers to learn things related to online learning media. . Supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the principal\u27s strategy in dealing with online learning, complaints and suggestions from teachers and parents of students so that principals can quickly find solutions and adequate facilities so that teachers do not worry anymore. The result of this research is that learning in Islamic boarding schools and madrasas has its own characteristics, namely the usual learning methods in Islamic boarding schools, namely wetonan, sorogan, bandongan, and memorization. PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA MADRASAH DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU MADRASAH
Get PDFThis study examined and evaluated the influence of the principal\u27s leadership on teachers’ performance, the impact of the work environment on teachers’ performance, and the combined impact of leadership and the work environment. This study collected primary data from 391 teachers as a sample representing all teachers from 297 madrasahs in Bengkulu using a questionnaire. Fcount = 30.850, Probability (sig) = 0.000 = 0.05, indicating that two independent factors, namely leadership (X1) and work environment (X2) had a positive and statistically significant effect on teachers’ performance (Y). Meanwhile, the contribution of the two independent variables namely leadership (X1) and work environment (X2) to teachers’ performance was quite large, as evidenced by the determination index value (R2) of 0.615 or the variance of teacher performance of 61.50%. Other factors not included in this study determined 0.361 or 36.10% of teachers’ performance

Tidak berjalannya program supervisi di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam akan menyebabkan guru atau tenaga pendidik tidak menyadari adanya kesalahan, kekurangan, atau kesulitan dalam proses kegiatan belajar-mengajar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang bersifat studi pustaka (library reseach). Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa kepemimpinan (kepala sekolah) memiliki peran yang supervisi dalam bentuk evaluasi untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru, sehingga program supervisi dapat menyesuaikan kebutuhan guru. Sehingga tugas kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor memerlukan kepandaian dan ketelitian kepala sekolah dalam menentukan mana yang baik sesuai dengan visi dan misi sekolah agar semakin maju. Kepemimpinan pendidikan pada hakekatnya adalah aktor yang bertanggung jawab terhadap suatu rencana yang kemudian diaplikasikan di sebuah organisasi atau lembaga pendidikan. This study aims to determine the efforts of the head of the madrasah aliyah in increasing awareness of the midday prayers in the congregation at the Bahrul Ulum Rantau Jaya Islamic boarding school. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. The number of research subjects was 18 people. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that the efforts of the head of the aliyah madrasah in increasing the awareness of students in the midday prayers in the congregation were by improving oneself, working with teachers, homeroom teachers, waka, student guardians, organizations in the madrasa, and students.
