Parents prefer to give gadgets to their children rather than nurture and educate directly so that children are free to access everything without any supervision by parents. In this study, the researcher chose the Bilqolam method to study because many of the formal educational institutions cooperated with Bilqolam, especially in the Malang area. Meanwhile, as a place of research, researchers are motivated to conduct research on the application of Bilqolam at SD Islam Terpadu Iqro Karangploso-Malang because Bilqolam is used as intracurricular. This research was conducted to find out how the implementation of Bilqolam. The research approach used by the researcher is a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. Check the validity of the data are triangulation, and confermability. The result of the research is that the school made a slight modification of the duration of Bilqolam teaching time

Get PDFNahdlatul Ulama is a huge Muslim community in Indonesia that follows four religious resources that are Al-Qur’an, al-Sunnah, Ijma’ and Qiyas. On Fiqh following four Madhab (school of thought) such Imam Hanafi, Maliki, Syafi’i and Hambali. This ideology was found in minority areas and research related to the topic was limited. This study aimed to illustrate how Nahdlatul Ulama’s Fiqh Ibadah civilization has grown in minority areas. This qualitative narrative research study used observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to collect primary data from five villagers of Tengger ethnics. The result shows that Tengger’s Muslims is a first learner (awam), it’s easier to implement amaliyah nahdliyah (Fiqh Ibadah) in their daily life, have a good relation to other religions (Hindu and Budha), have a cultural understanding, and live in harmony as one ethnic.

No full textKyai is a charismatic leader for their santris (student in islamic boarding school) has existed in Indonesia since long time ago. The Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) was well known as Islamic educational institution to bring up children to read, write and living according to the guidance of the Koran. The core element of Pesantren are Kyai and his wife, students supervisors, teachers council, students, mosque, and curriculum, while teaching the Koran has become a sub-culture of its own. Establishing character education in very early age is urgent to form a positive sub-culture of personal life to face the challenge of modernization and globalization. Furthermore, many stakeholders stated that Pesantren is one of the educational institutions that can serve as a role model for character education in Indonesia. Tujuan dari kajian pada penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis konsep kepemimpinan berdasarkan standarisasi prinsip keislaman yang ada pada dua lembaga Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (PTKI) swasta yang ada di kota Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian penelitian ini adalah melalui kajian kepustakaan dan studi lapangan. Hasil yang didapatkan berdasarkan proses penelitian ini adalah kedua PTKI swasta yang ada di kota Bengkulu telah menjalankan proses kepemimpinan pada lembaganya mengedepankan prinsip-prinsip secara Islam berupa kualifikasi, tujuan bersama, gaya kepemimpinan, tingkah laku, tanggung jawab dan menjaga keseimbangan. Selain itu, prinsip- prinsip aplikasi kepemimpinan secara Islam yang telah dijabarkan sebagai hasil analisis di atas telah dijadikan rambu- rambu dalam pengambilan keputusan pada lembaga pendidikan tinggi Islam yang dalam hal ini adalah pada dua PTKI yang ada di kota Bengkulu dengan tujuan dan harapan dapat meningkatkan mutu kelembagaan yang mereka pimpin

Perception of College Students in Papua Province on Plagiarism
Get PDFPlagiarism is serious misconduct for all of the academicians in the world, including Papua, Indonesia. This paper aims at exploring the Papuan students’ perceptions on plagiarism. This paper focused on the students’ knowledge on plagiarism, the students ‘experience in plagiarism, and the strategy to avoid plagiarism. This paper employed a descriptive qualitative design investigating the students’ perception of plagiarism in Fattahul Muluk State Islamic Institute of Papua. The participants of this study were purposively selected from two faculties. There were seven students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and seven Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business students, and the data were analyzed using discourse analysis. The results revealed that Papuan students’ perception on plagiarism due to three parts; 1) the students knew plagiarism as an act of copyright infringement, plagiarism is a crucial action, plagiarism is the act of copy-paste, plagiarism is an act that causes writers difficulty in developing their writing potential, and plagiarism is an act of theft, 2) The Plagiarism occurred when the students doing an assignment, they have lack understanding about the assignment’s instruction, sometimes reference sources are difficult to access, and the students pressed by the deadline for submission, and 3) The students avoid plagiarism through paraphrase then cite the sources, and used software like Mendeley and plagiarism checker. However, further investigation is necessary to examine the relative contribution of Papuan students ‘perceptions on plagiarism practice
Implementation of Active Learning Methods in Islamic Elementary School/Implementasi Metode Active Learning di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the ability of educators to apply the active learning method, (2) the activities of educators during the application of the active learning method, (3) the activities of students during the application of the active learning method and (4) student learning outcomes, during the application of the active learning method. The results showed that: (1) The ability of educators to manage learning methods in the first cycle was 2.41 for the second cycle increased to 2.93 and in the third cycle increased again to 3.00. So for three cycles there was an increase from cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III with good categories, (2) the activity of educators in the first cycle of material delivery activities was 34.33%. In the second cycle the dominant activity decreased to 22.33% while in the third cycle the dominant activity of educators was to provide guided training by 24.33%, (3) the student activity in the first cycle was 36.67%, the second cycle decreased to 26.67% until the third cycle. . the cycle decreased again to 23.33 so that for three cycles in general there was an increase, and (4) the learning mastery of classical students in the application of learning in the first cycle 60 to the second cycle increased to 88.89% and in the first cycle increased to 88.89 cycle II III has been achieved

Get PDFAdmission of new students is an important element in an educational institution, especially universities. Higher education institutions must carry out a development in order to remain competitive with other institutions. An Islamic boarding school based in Malang, namely STAI Ma\u27had Aly Al-Hikam Malang. This private institution is able to compete with other institutions by carrying out developments on new student admissions..The purpose of this study was to analyze the strategy for developing the implementation of new student admissions at STAI Ma\u27had Aly Al-Hikam Malang. The analytical method used is swot analysis, namely strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Comparing the swot elements in the implementation of new student admissions with the average number of registrants in each period.The results of this study are first, the implementation of new student admissions at STAI Ma\u27had Aly Al-Hikam Malang who has gone through the stages of new student admissions which include; committee formation, candidate requirements, registration, selection test, announcement of selection results and student orientation. Second, the analysis of the new student admissions development strategy carried out by the swot analysis method, it can be seen that this institution has made developments that are adapted to the conditions in each period, so that there is an increase in each period. The average number of registrants in the first period was 21, the second period was 25.2., the third period was 107.8., the fourth period was 116.5., the fifth period was 199 and the sixth period was 344

Get PDFThe limitations of activities among the community in the new normalera have a slightly changed order, so that most of them are done via virtual, as well as in terms of educations. As of the goverment issued policies regarding the pandemic and then the new normal, so that people can the continue to be active and productive but still adhere to health protocols, this is also felt by the public relations in the school. This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of public relations management in improving the image of schools in the new normal, both in planning and implementations by the Mohammad Hatta Islamic Elementary School Malang. The research approach used is a qualitative. This type of research is a case study type, which focuses one the thing in order to obtain information on a particular object. The findings of this study indicate that that (1) public relations management planning in improving the image of school in the new normla era and discussed: (a) planning for the publications of school activities in the new normal era, (b) planning relations with with the comunity in the new normal era, (c) planning for the publications of school profiles in the new normal era.
