    The issues in the world of education that arise due to the influence of technological advancements or cultural changes from outside the environment include shifts in social and cultural values, ethics, and morals that must be preserved. Islamic education serves as a fortress that consistently guides students towards a perfect character. Therefore, one of the things that must be implemented is the formation of students\u27 religious character through the habituation of congregational Dhuha prayers, as has been practiced at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Iskandar Sulaiman in Batu City. The purpose of the research is to explain how the practice of congregational Dhuha prayer is carried out and to describe how the formation of students\u27 religious character occurs through the habituation of congregational Dhuha prayer. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative approach with field research. The data collection techniques in this research are through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the process of forming religious character consists of three stages, namely: a) moral knowing, b) moral feeling, c) moral action. These three stages are related to the implementation of the habituation process of congregational Dhuha prayers as follows: a) Reviewing Juz 30, b) Performing congregational Dhuha prayers, c) Reciting prayers together after the Dhuha prayer. The formation of students\u27 religious character through the habitual practice of congregational Dhuha prayers can cultivate religious values in students, including: enhancing good deeds, increasing faith and piety, fostering honesty, and developing sincerity among students

    Abstract : Literacy activities play a crucial role in shaping a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also has broad knowledge, strong character, and good morals. Good literacy is not only focused on reading and writing skills but also on developing a deep understanding of the information received and the ability to apply it in everyday life. Therefore, support for literacy activities should involve various parties and environments, including the home, school, community, and government. Each of these environments plays a key role in creating a conducive literacy ecosystem for children and adolescents. One important aspect of increasing interest in literacy is changing students\u27 understanding of literacy itself. Many students may not fully realize the importance of literacy for their future. Literacy is not just a tool for learning, but also a key to unlocking various opportunities in life, whether in education, employment, or social life. Therefore, efforts are needed to raise students\u27 awareness about the importance of literacy activities by demonstrating the long-term benefits they can gain through the habit of reading and writing. This research aims to increase students\u27 interest in reading and provide educators with a better understanding of the importance of providing the right platforms for developing students\u27 literacy skills. By providing a supportive literacy environment, both inside and outside the classroom, students can be empowered to develop their skills more effectively. Through increased interest in reading and understanding literacy, it is hoped that students will be better prepared to face future challenges and become individuals who are not only smart but also have strong character and good morals.     ABSTRACT Education plays an important role in the development of Islamic morals (akhlak). In Islam, Islamic moral teachings play an important role in guiding individuals to live a pious life. Morals in Islam are essentially the basic values ​​and foundations of a person\u27s character. This study attempts to describe and analyze Islamic moral education. This study uses a library method that uses text sources such as journals and books. The results of this study indicate that Islamic moral development faces the influence and challenges of global secularism and a lack of resources. The solution to facing these challenges is primarily through a training program for Educators. Furthermore, Islamic moral education can be implemented in the school curriculum through the integration of the curriculum and extracurricular activities and the involvement of parents. Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam pembinaan moral Islam (akhlak). Dalam Islam, ajaran akhlak Islam memiliki peranan penting dalam membimbing individu untuk menjalani kehidupan yang saleh. Akhlak dalam Islam pada hakikatnya merupakan nilai dasar dan fondasi karakter seseorang.  Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pendidikan akhlak Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan yang menggunakan sumber teks seperti jurnal dan buku. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan akhlak Islam menghadapi pengaruh dan tantangan dari paham sekuler global serta kurangnya sumber daya. Adapun solusi dalam menghadapi tantangan ini yang terutama adalah dengan program pelatihan bagi Pendidik. Selanjutnya pendidikan akhlak Islam dapat diimplementasikan dalam kurikulum sekolah melalui integrasi kurikulum dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler serta keterlibatan Orang Tua.     Madrasah is an Islamic Educational Institution that is able to maintain its existence in carrying out its functions. Madrasah is also obliged to improve its quality to maintain its sustainability. Therefore, the management of facilities and infrastructure is aimed at improving the services of the madrasah. This study aims to describe the infrastructure management activities carried out by the Al-Azhar Superior Madrasah in order to improve education services and quality, what obstacles are faced in the implementation process, and solutions taken to anticipate existing obstacles. This research is qualitative in nature with the type of case study at the Al-Azhar Superior Madrasah. This research uses participatory observation methods, in-depth interviews and documentation studies in data mining. Data analysis uses the Miles, Huberman and Saldana techniques. The management of facilities and infrastructure at the Al-Azhar Superior Madrasah has been carried out quite well in terms of planning, procuring, maintaining, and inventorying the facilities and infrastructure in the madrasah environment, which has proven to be able to improve services which ultimately improve the quality of education, as evidenced by the increasing quality of its output. The constraints are that there is a lack of funds and administrative staff. The solutions that have been implemented by the Al-Azhar Superior Madrasah to solve the existing problems are: 1) Procurement must be in accordance with the Madrasah Work Plan that has been prepared, 2) Organization must be carried out in accordance with the madrasah\u27s duties and functions, 3) Control of procurement and use of facilities and infrastructure must be carried out with previously decided procedures, so that supporting documents are complete.     EVALUATION MANAGEMENT THROUGH EDM APPLICATION IN PREPARING e-RKAM

    The EDM and e-RKAM applications are key components of the Madrasah Reform Program. This initiative, launched by the Directorate General of Islamic Education with support from the World Bank, aims to enhance the quality and accountability of madrasa education. Through these applications, madrasas can improve evaluation management processes, ensuring transparency and effectiveness in budget planning and implementation. This study aims to analyze how EDM is applied in the preparation of e-RKAM, specifically in the stages of planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling at MIS Tarbiyatul Ulum Pamekasan. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, verified using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. The findings highlight that RKAM is prepared annually with a student-centered approach. The head of the madrasa organizes a Quality Assurance Team, assigning specific roles to ensure smooth execution. During implementation, the EDM process aligns with e-RKAM instruments, facilitating comprehensive evaluation. Moreover, the control mechanisms are notably effective, with 100% budget realization across all programs. This showcases the significant role of EDM and e-RKAM in promoting efficient resource utilization and improving madrasa management quality. Inisiatif yang diluncurkan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Islam dengan dukungan Bank Dunia ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu dan akuntabilitas pendidikan madrasah. Melalui aplikasi ini, madrasah dapat meningkatkan proses manajemen evaluasi, memastikan transparansi dan efektivitas dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan anggaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana EDM diterapkan dalam penyusunan e-RKAM, khususnya pada tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian di MIS Tarbiyatul Ulum Pamekasan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, diverifikasi menggunakan uji kredibilitas, transferabilitas, ketergantungan, dan konfirmabilitas. Temuan penelitian ini menyoroti bahwa RKAM disiapkan setiap tahun dengan pendekatan yang berpusat pada siswa. Kepala madrasah mengorganisasikan Tim Penjaminan Mutu, yang menugaskan peran khusus untuk memastikan pelaksanaan yang lancar. Selama pelaksanaan, proses EDM selaras dengan instrumen e-RKAM, yang memfasilitasi evaluasi yang komprehensif. Selain itu, mekanisme kontrolnya juga sangat efektif, dengan realisasi anggaran 100% di semua program. Hal ini menunjukkan peran penting EDM dan e-RKAM dalam mendorong pemanfaatan sumber daya secara efisien dan meningkatkan kualitas manajemen madrasah.     This research aims to examine the importance of standardization in improving the quality of Islamic boarding school education and finding the ideal format for quality Islamic boarding schools in a sustainable manner. A literature study was conducted to examine various factors that influence the success of standardization, including internal and external factors in Islamic boarding schools. The research results show that standardization plays a crucial role in realizing Islamic boarding school education that is quality, sustainable and relevant to the demands of the times. Standardization not only guarantees the quality of learning, but also increases the accountability and credibility of Islamic boarding schools in the eyes of the community.     Polemik Gaji Dosen dalam Perspektif Literatur Tafsir Nusantara Klasik dan Kontemporer

    The hashtag #janganjadidosen is trending on various social media platforms due to the lack of financial welfare of lecturers. Empirical evidence is that 76% of lecturers take side jobs, so that the campus climate changes from an academic climate to an entrepreneurial climate. Until now, people have still been polemicising about lecturers\u27 salaries. This polemic is rooted in different views on the lecturer profession. Is the lecturer profession a service that is classified as a non-commercial contract (tabarru’at), or is it a job that is classified as a commercial contract (mu’awadat)? This article is compiled using the thematic tafsir method (maudu\u27i) initiated by Abdul Hayy al-Farmawi with five national tafsir literature as primary sources, namely Tarjuman al-Mustafid by Abdurrauf al-Singkili; Marah Labid by Syaikh Nawawi; al-Ibriz by KH. Bisri Mustofa; Tafsir Al-Azhar by Buya Hamka and Tafsir Al-Mishbah by Quraish Shihab. There are four research results. First, the relevant keyword to discuss the polemics over lecturers’ salaries is the word “ajrun” and its derivations, mentioned 108 times in 99 verses. Second, the object of research is 10 verses that are directly related to the theme of lecturers’ salaries, namely Surat al-A\u27raf [7]: 113, Yunus [10]: 72, Hud [11]: 51, al-Kahf [18]: 77, al-Furqan [25]: 57, al-Shu’ara’ [26]: 109, al-Qasas [28]: 26, Yasin [36]: 21, Sad [38]: 86 and al-Shura [42]: 23. Third, based on the analysis of comparative interpretation (muqarin), the word ajrun and its derivatives in the Qur’an have three connotations of meaning: a) The meaning of non-commercial reward; b) The meaning of commercial wages; c) The meaning of “maslahat” which includes commercial and non-commercial benefits. Fourth, the meaning of maslahat is a parameter that is relevant to lecturer salaries in Indonesia today. Meanwhile, the scope of the meaning of maslahat can be elaborated by future research that uses the Burhani (empirical) or Irfani (idealistic) approach, as a complement to this article that uses the Bayani (textualist) approach. Bukti empirisnya, 76% dosen mengambil kerja sampingan, sehingga iklim kampus berubah dari iklim akademik menjadi iklim wirausaha. Hingga saat ini, masyarakat masih berpolemik mengenai gaji dosen. Polemik ini berakar pada perbedaan pandangan dalam menyikapi profesi dosen. Apakah profesi dosen merupakan pengabdian yang tergolong akad tabarru’at yang bersifat non-komersil, atau merupakan pekerjaan yang tergolong akad mu’awadhat yang bersifat komersil. Artikel ini disusun dengan menggunakan metode tafsir tematik (maudhu’i) yang digagas oleh Abdul Hayy al-Farmawi dengan lima literatur tafsir nusantara sebagai sumber primer, yaitu Tarjuman al-Mustafid karya Abdurrauf al-Singkili; Marah Labid karya Syaikh Nawawi; al-Ibriz karya KH. Bisri Mustofa; Tafsir Al-Azhar karya Buya Hamka dan Tafsir Al-Mishbah karya Quraish Shihab. Ada empat hasil penelitian. Pertama, kata kunci yang relevan untuk membahas polemik gaji dosen adalah kata ajrun dan derivasinya yang disebutkan sebanyak 108 kali dalam 99 ayat. Kedua, objek penelitian adalah 10 ayat yang berkaitan langsung dengan tema gaji dosen, yaitu Surat al-A’raf [7]: 113, Yunus [10]: 72, Hud [11]: 51, al-Kahfi [18]: 77, al-Furqan [25]: 57, al-Syu’ara’ [26]: 109, al-Qashash [28]: 26, Yasin [36]: 21, Shad [38]: 86 dan al-Syura [42]: 23. Ketiga, berdasarkan analisis tafsir komparatif (muqarin), kata ajrun dan derivasinya dalam Al-Qur’an memiliki tiga konotasi makna: a) Makna pahala ukhrawi yang bersifat non-komersil; b) Makna upah duniawi yang bersifat komersil; c) Makna maslahat yang mencakup manfaat duniawi (komersil) dan ukhrawi (non-komersil). Keempat, makna maslahat merupakan parameter yang relevan dengan gaji dosen di Indonesia saat ini. Sedangkan ruang lingkup makna maslahat, dapat dielaborasi oleh penelitian berikutnya yang menggunakan pendekatan Burhani (empiris) maupun Irfani (idealis), sebagai pelengkap dari artikel ini yang menggunakan pendekatan Bayani (tekstualis). Kata Kunci: Dosen, Gaji Dosen, Tafsir Al-Qur’an, Tafsir Nusantara.

    PERENCANAAN STRATEGIS DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN MADRASAH MELALUI ANALISIS SWOT

    Strategic planning in the educational environment needs to be improved to realize better quality madrasah education. The basis of this research is the fact that strategic planning through SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) is very important to manage the quality of education. The aim of this research is to describe the SWOT analysis of the internal and external environment as well as strategic planning in improving the quality of madrasah education through SWOT analysis. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Research object at MAN 2 Lebong. Data collection methods are through interviews, observation and document analysis, while data analysis techniques are through reduction, presentation and verification. The research results show that: first, the SWOT analysis of MAN 2 Lebong\u27s internal environment has more advantages (Strengths) than disadvantages (Weaknesses). Second, the possibilities (Opportunities) are greater than the risks (Threats) in the SWOT analysis of the external environment. Third, by using SWOT analysis, strategic planning can improve the quality of madrasa services and the quality of madrasa education at MAN 2 Lebong. The SWOT matrix can also help determine the position of madrasahs in improving the quality of education. Keywords: SWOT analysis; Quality of Education; Strategic planning.   ABSTRAK Perencanaan strategis pada lingkungan pendidikan perlu ditingkatkan untuk mewujudkan kualitas pendidikan madrasah yang lebih baik. Dasar penelitian ini adalah Fenomena bahwa perencanaan strategis melalui analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, dan Tthreats), sangat penting untuk mengelola kualitas mutu pendidikan. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan analisis SWOT lingkungan internal dan lingkungan eksternal serta perencanaan strategis dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan madrasah melalui analisis SWOT. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Objek penelitian di MAN 2 Lebong. Metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen, sedangkan teknik analisis data melalui reduksi, penyajian dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, analisis SWOT lingkungan internal MAN 2 Lebong memiliki lebih banyak keuntungan (Strengths) daripada kerugian (Weaknesses). Kedua, kemungkinan (Opportunities) lebih besar daripada risiko (Tthreats) dalam analisis SWOT lingkungan eksternal. Ketiga, dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT, perencanaan strategis dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan madrasah dan mutu pendidikan madrasah di MAN 2 Lebong.     This article aims to describe the formation of character education for students through scout extracurricular activities at MAS Nurul Amin Kubu Padi, Kuala Mandor B District, Kab. stronghold. Explain the supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of student character education through scout extracurricular activities at MAS Nurul Amin Kubu Padi, West Kalimantan.This study used descriptive qualitative method. This research aims to describe social phenomena as they are based on the data presented and the results of the discussion presented above, it can be concluded that the formation of students\u27 disciplined character consists of five elements, namely structure and discipline, basic skills training, independence and responsibility, experience in the open air and teamwork in extracurricular activities. Scouts have a large role in strengthening students\u27 disciplinary character. Through it all, students learn to respect time, follow procedures, and behave in an orderly manner.
