    The purpose of this study is to compare the extent of forest area by map designation of forest areas SK.357 / Menhut-II / 2004 with Proposed map RTRWP years 2010-2030 as well as the intentions and objectives of the Local Government proposing changes to the designation and functions of forest areas. This study was conducted in Bangka Belitung Province from July 2015 through August 2015. The research method using the map data are from BPKH XIII Lists Pinang Forest Service Bangka Belitung Province and using purposive method to determine the intent and purpose of making provincial spatial plan The activities undertaken in this study include: interviews, as well as data processing and data analysis. Data collected in the form of primary data (vector data) and secondary data (general conditions of the location and study legislation on forestry and spatial). The technique of collecting primary data through interviews with respondents (staff BPKH and the Forest Service Bangka Belitung Province) while secondary data is done through the study of literature. Based on the research results, the calculation of the percentage of forest area with SK.357 / Menhut-II / 2004 in the amount of 40.54% and forests 39.35% RTRWP proposal. A reduction in forest area of 1.19%. Although the forest area was reduced, but it does not violate the laws - laws which mandate a minimum area to be preserved as a forest area is 30% of the land area. Counties that experienced the greatest changes that Belitung district while the districts with the fewest changes are Bangka Barat district

    Javanese eagle (Spizaetus bartelsi) is one type of bird of prey endemic to Java. The existence of birds of prey in an ecosystem is very important, because of its position as the top predators in the food chain or pyramid. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics and ecological nests, as well as the proliferation of Java Eagle Cikaniki especially in forest areas. Observation method used is cooperative mehod five observation points around forest areas Cikaniki. Through monthly observation, ranges Javanese eagle depicted on the map, and mapped point is the assumption of Javanese eagle nesting sites. Observations are also done through direct observation at the location around the nest. The results explain that Java Eagle identified seven individuals that belong to three families: Pengkeh family, relatives and family Andam I Andam II. During the observation, observed breeding success of one family, it is characterized by the presence of individual chicks that fly around the nest site. During the monitoring also the sound of Javanese eagle chicks in the vicinity of the nest. Cikaniki in forest areas, family observed using the Java Eagle Castanopsis argentea tree to lay a nest. The tree is a towering trees compared to other tree with a height of about 30 meters. Java Eagle nest situated at an altitude 16 meters above the ground on the second branch. Nest trees grow at an altitude of 1,100 meters above sea level and on a fairly steep slope topography, close to the creeks and within 500 meters of open wilayan limit

    Yosemite waterfall Cipeuteuy Tourism is one of the attractions that are in Resort Bantaragung National Park Management Section ( SPTN ) Majalengka II region that have natural resources in the form of waterfalls, forests, water resources and beautiful scenery. The experiment was conducted at the waterfall Cipeuteuy Resort Bantaragung National Park Management Section (SPTN) Region II Majalengka Ciremai Mountain National Park (TNGC) of West Java Province. The purpose of this research was conducted : 1) Exploring the potential tourist park Cipeuteuy waterfall as a tourist attraction and educational facility. 2) Knowing the improvement and the development and management of tourist park at Waterfall Resort Cipeuteuy Bantaragung Ciremai Mountain National Park. Research using descriptive method with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Visitors sampling technique is done systematically with purposive sampling, sampling for managers waterfall Cipeuteuy done with saturated sampling (census) and sampling to the public is done with random sampling.The method used to analyze the data is descriptive analysis method and SWOT analysis. Alternative strategy of a combination of factors, namely the power and opportunity factors: 1) Maintain good coordination and cooperation between the Village Resort Bantaragung to empower people together, 2) Invite people who have not been active in the management activities to participate in these activities, 3) Improving the quality of tourism facilities and infrastructure that exist, and 4) Enhance the image of a tourist spot clean and comfortable. Combination of factors, namely the weakness and opportunity factors : 1) Looking for sponsor support, a good cooperation with institutions, 2) Cooperating with local governments, 3) To conduct intensive training of human resources, 4) Adding infrastructure is still lacking, 5) develop effective tourism promotion system. Combination of factors, namely the power and threat factors: 1) Develop a marketing strategy effective tourism services, 2) Adding personnel and facility cleanliness around the tourist areas, 3) Growing interest in local culture and develop a love of local knowledge in local masyarat cultural learning, 4) Hold and expand training programs to area managers, and 5) Increase public participation and government.     Since industrial area around Bekasi-Karawang-Purwakarta enhanced, it is necessary considering the review of alternate optimally function of the forest production as conservation area. It is important due to existence of District autonomy which can arrange the plan and manages natural resources and not only for environment, but also from economic and social aspects.     Velvet Apple Fruit Seeds (Diospyros blancoi) as Biosorbent of Cr(III)          Velvet Apple Fruit (Diospyros blancoi) has not been explored more in Indonesia. The purpose of research was to explore the use of Velvet Apple Fruit seeds as adsobent of Cr(III) in waste. Biosorbent of velvet apple fruit seeds in removing Cr (III) metal ions has been investigated using batch method. Several parameters were used to determine absorption optimum conditions such as solution pH, contact time and biosorbent dosage. Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin isotherm models were used in determining biosorption equilibrium. FTIR and SEM-EDX were used to characterize the velvet apple fruit seeds biosorbent. The equilibrium adsorption isotherms showed the velvet apple fruit seeds biosorbent had a maximum adsorption capacity of 5.592 mg/g. The adsorption efficiency of Cr (III) ion by velvet apple fruit seeds was 81.78%. The results showed that velvet apple fruit seeds potentially as an alternative low-cost biosorbent for removing heavy metal ions in solution.Keywords: biosorption, heavy metals, alternative biosorbent, waste water treatmentABSTRAK          Buah bisbul di Indonesia belum tereksplor dengan baik potensinya. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk megetahui potensi biji buah Bisbul sebagai adsorben logam Cr(III) pada limbah. Biosorben biji buah bisbul (Diospyros blancoi) dalam menyerap ion logam Cr(III) telah diteliti dengan menggunakan metode batch. Beberapa parameter digunakan untuk menentukan kondisi optimum penyerapan seperti pH larutan, waktu kontak dan dosis biosorben. Model isoterm Langmuir, Freundlich dan Temkin dipakai dalam menentukan kesetimbangan biosorpsi. FTIR dan SEM-EDX digunakan dalam mengkarakterisasi biosorben biji buah bisbul. Isoterm adsorpsi kesetimbangan menunjukkan biosorben biji buah bisbul mempunyai kapasitas adsorpsi maksimum 5,592 mg/g. Efisiensi penyerapan ion Cr(III) oleh biji buah bisbul mencapai 81,78%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biji buah bisbul berpotensi sebagai alternatif biosorben murah dalam menghilangkan ion logam berat dalam larutan.Kata kunci: biosorpsi, logam berat, alternatif biosorben, pengolahan air limba

    PEMISAHAN ASAM AMINO DARI LIMBAH CAIR PABRIK KELAPA SAWIT DENGAN KROMATOGRAFI PENUKAR ION

    Separation of Amino acid from Liquid waste of Oil palm Factory with Ion Exchange Chromatography Research on Separation of Amino Acid Liquid Waste mills with Ion Exchange Chromatography was carried out from October to November 2015. The results of  hydrolysis of 6 N HCl results showed  that the highest absorbance reading was obtained at a concentration of eluent of 0,2 and 0,6 M NaCl, while the results of the protease enzyme hydrolysis the highest absorbance reading at NaCl eluent 0,2 and 1 M. There was no significant difference in the results of separation by ion exchange chromatography, showed that the concentration of NaCl eluent is not very influential, so for subsequent analysis used only one concentration of the eluent. Results of linear regression obtained was equal to 0,9946, these results indicate that the series standard amino acid lysine has a value that is linear as it approaches 1. The amino acid levels obtained on the sample results LCPKS hydrolysis with 6 N HCl which was about 0 to 8.82 ppm and samples of the protease enzyme hydrolysis of about 0 to 4.31 ppm. Amino acid levels obtained were still far from the expected.Keywords: Amino Acid, Oil Palm, Liquid Waste, Ion Exchange Chromatography ABSTRAKPenelitian mengenai Pemisahan Asam Amino dari Limbah Cair Pabrik Kelapa Sawit dengan Kromatografi Penukar Ion telah dilaksanakan dari bulan Oktober sampai November 2015. Hasil hidrolisis HCl 6 N menunjukkan bahwa pembacaan absorbansi tertinggi diperoleh pada konsentrasi eluen NaCl 0,2 dan 0,6 M, sedangkan hasil hidrolisis enzim protease pembacaan absorbansi tertinggi pada eluen NaCl 0,2 dan 1 M. Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil pemisahan dengan kromatografi penukar ion ini, menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi eluen NaCl tidak terlalu berpengaruh, sehingga untuk analisis selanjutnya digunakan hanya satu konsentrasi eluen. Hasil regresi linear yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 0,9946, hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa deret standar asam amino lisin mempunyai nilai yang linear karena mendekati 1. Kadar asam amino yang diperoleh pada sampel hasil hidrolisis LCPKS dengan HCl 6N yaitu sekitar 0 – 8,82 ppm dan sampel hasil hidrolisis enzim protease sekitar 0 – 4,31 ppm.     Identification of Disease Attacks and Control on Sengon (Paraserianthes  moluccana (Miq.), Barneby & J.W. Grimes)  Seedling in NurseryPlant diseases are one of the problems on seedlings of sengon (Paraserianthes moluccana (Miq.), Barneby & J.W. Grimes). Diseases infestation on the seedlings can cause a problem at the plantation. Diseases interference has a big value, since sengon is a perenial tree that need a long time until harvesting. The objective of this research was to identify the pathogens of diseases that infested on sengon seedlings. The research was conducted at Nursery of Forestry Research Institute Center with 250 plants of sengon. Disease incidence and severity were measured and the data was analyzed with SAS program. The research result showed that disease infested at the nursery of sengon seedlings was powdery mildew (Oidium sp.). The observation showed that the incidence of powdery mildew was 78.00%, while the severity was 39,12%. Based on the leaves number, the compound leaves were categorized into four category, i.e. very few, few, plenty, and very plenty. Sengon in the category of very plenty compound leaves (31-49 leaves) showed a significant difference against the disease incidence of powdery mildew, with the lowest incidence of 24,23%.Keywords : Nursery, Oidium sp., powdery mildew, Paraserianthes moluccana ABSTRAKPenyakit merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi dalam pembibitan sengon (Paraserianthes  moluccana (Miq.), Barneby & J.W. Grimes).Terjadinya investasi penyakit di dalam bibit menyebabkan penanaman menjadi terganggu. Gangguan tersebut sangat besar artinya mengingat bahwa sengon merupakan tanaman tahunanyangmembutuhkan waktu yang panjang sampai pemanenan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi patogen penyebab penyakit pada pembibitan. Penelitian dilakukan di persemaian  Kelompok Peneliti Perlindungan Hutan, Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan hutan Bogor menggunakan 250 tanaman sengon. Peubah yang diamati adalah insidensi dan intensitas penyakit dan data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam program SAS untuk melihat keterkaitan antara jumlah daun majemuk dengan intensitas serangan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyakit yang menyerang bibit sengon adalah embun tepung (Oidium sp.). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan insdensi penyakit embun tepung mencapai 78% sedangkan intensitas serangan tertinggi mencapai 39,12%. Berdasarkan jumlahnya, daun majemuk dikategorikan ke dalam empat kategori, sangat sedikit, sedikit, banyak, dan sangan banyak. Tanaman pada kategori jumlah daun majemuk sangat banyak (31-40 daun) menunjukkan perbedaan nyata terhadap intensitas serangan embun tepung dengan intensitas penyakit paling rendah yaitu 24,23%.Kata kunci : bibit, embun tepung, Oidium sp., sengon

    ETNOBOTANI DAN TUMBUHAN BERGUNA DI CAGAR ALAM DUNGUS IWUL BOGOR

    People's lives around the Nature Reserve (CA) has a very close interaction with the natural resources around them. One of them is the interaction associated with the use of plants (ethnobotany). Documenting knowledge society CA Dungus Iwul ethnobotany essential to keep the knowledge society CA Dungus Iwul in the utilization of the plant is not lost. This study aims to determine the potential of useful plants in the region CA Dungus Iwul and examine the use of plants by people around CA Dungus Iwul (ethnobotany). Ethnobotany study conducted by interview and to determine the potential of plants useful in the CA Dungus Iwul done with vegetation analysis. The number of plant species that are found from the analysis of the vegetation in the area Dungus Iwul CA acquired as many as 43 species of 25famili. Most useful plant species are as many as 21 species of medicinal plants. While the study of ethnobotany identified as many as 30 species of 21 families and each has been grouped into 11 groups of usefulness, where the species is found mostly serves as a group of as many as 25 species of medicinal plants. Habitus most dominating of the results of the analysis of seedling and plant vegetation is under the most dominating family is Arecaceae, while on the study of ethnobotany is habitus of shrubs with family Zingiberaceae. Based on the percentage of habitat types, the plant most widely used by the public is a plant cultivated 20 species (67%) and 10 species (33%) is a wild plant, which used only a small portion of the area CA Dungus Iwul about 7 species. Their use of plants that originate from within the CA Dungus Iwul indicate that there has been interaction, ie interaction in the form of plant utilization.     This activity aims to determine the potential of the potential of tourism resources in National Park of Way Kambas which can be used as an eco-tourism development, visitor perceptions of the existing ecotourism activities in elephant conservation center TNWK, and strategic program development activities in TNWK elephant conservation center. The research activities carried out at National Park of Way Kambas (TNWK) elephant conservation center precisely, Lampung province about a month in June and ending in July 2011 and consists of data collected from primary and secondary data potential tourism resources, perceptions of managers and community participation, characteristics and perceptions of visitor motivation, developing ecotourism activities. Data analysis was done qualitatively and quantitatively. Tourism resources including Sumatran elephant, facilities and infrastructure and supporting facilities are visitor centers, shelters, mosques, bins, lighting, main roads, parking lots, restrooms, and tourist stalls. Based upon existing tourism resources and interviews with managers, the community and visitors, most managers say agree if developed an ecotourism activity involves the local community. In an interview conducted through questionnaires to the visitors, most visitors are interested in tourist activities. Therefore it can be prepared a development strategy in the ecotourism activities TNWK through SWOT analysis with a combination of strength factor and opportunity factor, weakness factor and opportunity factor

    Ujung Kulon National Park has a wide variety of natural tourist different and nice. However, this potential has not been identified by either. For this tourism potential need to be identified and assessment as an effort to develop this location. This research id aimed to identify the potential of nature tourism and assess of object natural tourist attraction at this conservation area. The method used is a case study, in which data collection is done through in-depth interviews  and involved observation. Data were analyzed using assessment of object natural tourist attraction. The results showed that the potential of tourism in Gunung Tilu and Curug Cibayoni which has a high value rated with excellent criteria it needs to be included into the form of tourist activities in accordance with the assessment of Object Natural Tourist Attraction. Forms of nature tourism activities are educational tour; religious tour; recreation; tracking; set up a stall for society; agricultural education tour; and handicraft
