No full textThe purpose of the study is to find out the application of total quality control on manufactur and services industries in Gresik by finding out on how the influence of quality control circle (GCC). Plan-do-Check-Action and the quality awareness as the dimension of total quality control toward the employee 's work motivation. The researcher has .formulated the hipotesis of this study that are Quality Conlrol Circle (QCC). Plan-Do-Check-Action and the quality awareness have influence toward the employee's work motivation. The quality control circle has sign!ficance influence among those third variables. From the result of the analysis shows that quality control circle (QCC), quality awareness and Plan-Do-Check-Action have significance influences toward the employee's work motivation. This conclusion relied on the calculation showing the value of ratio F of 19,552 ·· F table - 1,53. Based on I-test might be concluded that quality control circle has significance influence toward work motivation, while the quality awareness and Plan-Do-Check-Action doesn't have significance influence toward the employee's work motivatio

Get PDFThe objective of this research is to analyze the impact of real GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and investment on the consumption of electricity energy in the ASEAN countries (Malaysia, Phillippine and Indonesia). From the result of the analysis, it is found that there are significant influences of the real GDP and investment on the consumption of the electricity energy. Partially, real GDP and investment doesn’t have any significant influence on the consumption of electricity for Malaysia and Indonesia. Estimation model show that an increasing trend of consumption of electricity, investment and real GDP

Get PDFBalanced Scorecard system may affect the company’s productivity in the forms of financial perspective, internal business process perspective, and learning as well as growth perspective. A manager shall consider its benefits before implementic the system to the company. This research uses quantitative data obtained from accounting and producting staffs. Data are analyzd by using statistical experiment as the analysis tool to test the hypothesi using F test to find out the correlation of research variable simultaneously, and t-test to find out the relationship of multiple linear regression of equality partialy. And the result is that there is correlation between company’s productivity and perspectives in Balanced Scorecard. The dominant effect toward the company’s productivity is learning and growth perspective and internal business process perspective

Get PDFPenelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang kesukaan mahasiswa terhadap cara belajar bahasa Inggris untuk studi ekonomi dan bisnis di STIESIA dan sikap mahasiswa terhadap kemampuan bahasa Inggris mereka untuk kebutuhan akademik dan profesi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendeketan deskriptif kualitatif dan mengambil data dengan teknik kuisoner.Dari data yang diperoleh dapat diketahui bahwa mahasiswa diploma III STIESIA Surabaya lebih menyukai interaksi kelas yang komunikatif dan kegiatan kelas yang bervariasi. 55% mahasiswa menyukai jika diberi pekerjaan rumah dan 65% menyukai bila tugas-tugas/ketrampilan berbahasa mereka dikoreksi. 80% mahasiswa merespon positif terhadap kebutuhan menguasai bahasa Inggris. Sikap positif ini menunjukkan adanya motivasi yang tinggi dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris mahasiswa untuk kebutuhan studi dan karir di masa mendatan

Hence, it is required that a company must disclose its social responsibility to the stakeholders. Corporate social disclosure itself is influenced by many factors. The objective of this study is to explain the influencing factors of corporate social responsibility. Based on the Stakeholders theory, the study will investigated social responsibility accounting phenomena on business practices. The research sites would be in PTPN- East Java consists of PTPN X, XI, and XII. Regressions models are used to test the formulated hypothesis. Data were collected by using questionnaires which were mailed to 58 top and middle managers in PTPN who directly or indirectly involved in the corporate social responsibility. The empirical finding showed that and partially Mass media pressure are significant factor to corporate social disclosure, meanwhile Government regulation, Community pressure, environmental organization pressure do not have significant effect on corporate social disclosure. However, simultaneously those factors significantly influence the PTPTN’s corporate social disclosure

Whether or not a corporate culture has been formalized and/or socialized throughout the organization, a corporate culture may characterize a press publishing company as it guides everyone’s behavior in the organization. Furthermore, a number of theories and previous researches showed that a corporate culture might effect on corporate performance.The objectives of this research are to examine the effects of organization values, organization climates, reward systems, and team orientation on performance of Jawa Pos press publishing group.284 respondents from 17 publishers of Jawa Pos press publishing group throughout the provinces of Bali, East Java, Central Java and Yogyakarta, participated in this study. The data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, which were processed using LISREL 8.30 version of statistic computer program. Results of this study proved that organization values, organization climates, as well as reward systems have significant effects on the performance of Jawa Pos press publishing group. Meanwhile, team orientation has insignificant effects on the performance of Jawa Pos press publishing group.The finding of this study is important empirical evidence on the development of organization behavior theories and practices

Get PDFThis study aims to explain the research gap in the relationship of market orientation on firm performance. To explain the gap, this study focused on the role of moderator variables, that are competitive strategy and corporate and entrepreneurship. Unit analysis in the study is Small Medium Entreprise (SMEs) in East Java. This study used 250 samples, but only 120 companies are responded. Hypothesis test by MRA analysis and sub-groups analysis. MRA analysis is used to test the moderating role corporate entrepreneurship on relationship market orientation on firm performance. The study found that higher corporate entrepreneurship increasing the influence of market orientation on firm performance. Sub-groups analysis is used to examine the role of the firms competitive strategy as moderated variables in the relationship of market orientation on firm performance. The study found that the influence of market orientation on firm performance will be different on each difference competitive strategy. The competitive strategy moderating the relationship market orientation on firm performance

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh pada kinerja PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa Pontianak, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh pada orientasi pasar, akan tetapi gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh pada kualitas pelayanan. Selanjutnya orientasi pasar tidak berpengaruh pada Sektor publik beroperasi pada sistem yang terbuka dengan lingkungan yang komplek dan turbulence serta pelanggan yang semakin demanding. Memahami kebutuhan pelanggan dan menciptakan nilai bagi pelanggan sangat penting bagi organisasi sektor publik termasuk Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM). Kepemimpinan memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan masa depan organisasi dan menciptakan publik value, oleh karena itu pimpinan harus mampu mengembangkan strategi berdasarkan visi dan misi serta implementasinya untuk mencapai sasaran perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap orientasi pasar, kualitas pelayanan serta dampaknya terhadap kinerja PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa Pontianak. Jumlah responden 100 karyawan yang diwakili oleh masing-masing bagian yang berhubungan dengan tugas melayani pelanggan, dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Alat analisis yang digunakan kualitas pelayanan sedangkan orientasi pasar berpengaruh pada kinerja PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa Pontianak. Kemudian kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh pada kinerja PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa Pontiana
