Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefullness and Perceived of Interest E Rapport Growth and Development of Child
Background: Children are an important asset for a nation, so the education and care provided must be able to improve the quality of children in the future. Child Protection Law no. 23 of 2002 explains that every child has the right to receive growth and development monitoring without exception. Early detection of deviations in growth and development needs to be done, one of which is by using digital-based growth and development e-Reports.
Objective: The e-report product produced can increase efficiency and effectiveness, helping teachers, homeroom teachers, cadres or health workers in managing the SDIDTK program so that valid, practical and effective digital-based e-Report applications can be obtained.
Research methods: The research design for the development of digital-based growth and development e-reports was carried out referring to the development of the 4D model which includes define, design, develop and disseminate.
Results: There is an influence of perceived usefulness on interest in using the child health e- report application
Conclusion: e-Report can be used to check children\u27s health and growth and development at the PAUD unit level to increase the scope of monitoring children\u27s health and SDIDTK

A Study on Prevalence of Hypertension Among Patients Attending OPD of National Institute of Unani Medicine, Bengaluru, India.
Introduction: Hypertension is the leading modifiable cause of premature death and hence World Health Organization (WHO) has made it one of its global prevention priorities. It is a major risk factor for stroke, myocardial infarction, vascular disease, and chronic kidney disease. The prevention and treatment of hypertension imposes a significant public health challenge owing to its related morbidity and mortality as well as the expense to society. Hypertension is referred to as a silent and an invisible killer and affects at least 1.4 billion people globally. Less than half of adults (42%) with hypertension are diagnosed and treated.
Methodology The research design was an institution based single centered, observational descriptive study, cross sectional in design and was carried out for a duration of 28 days (4 weeks) from 01.06.2024 to 29.06.2024. The study was conducted in the Outpatient Department (OPD) of Regimenal therapies, National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Bengaluru. All people above 21 years of age attending OPD constituted study population. In present study, 524 patients were included in the study. The diagnosis of hypertension was done as per WHO guidelines. Data analysis was done using SPSS version 24.
Results: The study revealed that prevalence of hypertension was 35.87% in the study population. In the present study, 53.20% of diagnosed hypertensive patients were females and rest 46.80% were males. Majority of diagnosed hypertensive patients (39.89%) belonged to the age group of above 60 years.
Conclusion: Prevalence of hypertension is significantly increasing at a greater pace globally as well as in India. Periodic screening and raising awareness about hypertension in general population is necessary to reduce the prevalence of the disease and thereby the associated morbidity and mortality.

In vivo therapeutic and antioxidant activities of aqueous extract of Anogeissus leiocarpus (DC.) Guill. et Perr. in Salmonellosis induced in broiler chicks
Salmonella are bacteria that cause numerous illnesses in humans and animals. In poultry farming, they cause major economic losses for farmers. In fact, during the poultry production cycle, poultry are frequently infected by Salmonella and are exposed to oxidative stress. To deal with these problems, farmers use antibiotics. Unfortunately, overuse of these molecules has led to resistance. The aim of this study was to evaluate the in vivo therapeutic and antioxidant activities of aqueous extract of the leaves from Anogeissus leiocarpus in Salmonellosis induced in broiler chicks. For the experimental study, 4 batches of 25 broiler chicks each were produced, including :
- Batch 1 : uncontaminated chicks not treated with plant extract (NC-NT).
- Batch 2 : chicks contaminated and not treated with plant extract (C-NT).
- Batch 3 : chicks contaminated and treated with plant extract (C-T. extr).
-Batch 4 : chicks contaminated and treated only with a standard antibiotic, oxytetracycline (C-T.OTC). The aqueous extract of Anogeissus leiocarpus gave the best results compared with oxytetracycline. These include the significant improvement in average weight gain and biomarkers of oxidative stress.
The results obtained from this study show that the aqueous extract of Anogeissus leiocarpus can be used as an alternative to antibiotics in poultry farming.

Ongoing scientific research continues to validate and expand their applications in contemporary medicine, underscoring their enduring significance. Centella asiatica, a medicinal plant known for its therapeutic properties in traditional medicine and increasingly recognized in modern pharmacology for various health benefits. Madecassoside, stands out as a phytoactive constituent of Centella asiatica, renowned for its wide-ranging pharmacological properties, encompassing anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, wound-healing, and skin-protective effects. The present review illuminates madecassoside\u27s pharmacological properties and its mechanistic roles, as documented by various researchers.

A Review on Venous Thrombosis: Management with anticoagulants
Thrombosis is the most common condition and the world\u27s leading cause of death due to blood clot development in blood arteries. Thromboembolism includes classification based on where the thrombus gets attached to the blood vessels. Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) are two of the main causes of vascular death globally, making up venous thromboembolism (VTE). According to estimates, the yearly incidence rates of VTE in individuals with European ancestry vary from 104 to 183 per 100,000 person-years. Thrombus development and propagation are dependent upon the existence of anomalies in blood flow, blood vessel wall, and blood clotting components, which are together referred to as Virchow\u27s triad. A comprehensive diagnostic approach, which includes clinical evaluation, D-dimer testing, ultrasonography, and lung scan, provided a non-invasive diagnosis for most outpatients with suspected venous thromboembolism. Anticoagulant medication is the primary and established treatment for people who have acute venous thromboembolism (VTE). Among the treatment options available, UFH & LMWH are found to be safe for the growing fetus as they appear to not cross the placenta. Oral anticoagulants targeting thrombin or factor Xa have been introduced, replacing vitamin K antagonists. In a study involving DOACs vs VKAs in patients with pre-existing heart conditions, patients receiving DOACs for non-valvular atrial fibrillation had predominantly superior efficacy and safety.

A Review of Polymyxin-B Dosage for Patients with Renal Impairment
Since polymyxin B has a restricted therapeutic range and increased danger of both neurological damage and kidney damage, it is no longer the first choice for treating emerging gram-negative bacteria with multiple antibiotic resistance. The optimal dose schedule for patients with renal impairment regarding polymyxin B, it is provided as a chemically active formulation and primarily removed via methods other than kidney, is still up for debate. Similar to colistin, polymyxin-B effectively combats gram-negative aerobic bacterium that is resistant to several drugs such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumannii, Escherichia coli that produces carbapenemase, and Klebsiella pneumoniae. As a result, polymyxins cause cell apoptosis by inducing pan-caspase activation through many routes in a manner that is dependent on time and concentration. One of the most frequent and undesirable side effects of polymyxins is the development of AKI. A great deal of pharmacokinetic studies that have been published to far concur that creatinine clearance affects polymyxin B clearance; nevertheless, there is ongoing debate on the extent of this influence

Evaluation of the antiviral activity of different extracts of Gliricidia sepium and Xylopia aethiopica on enteroviruses isolated in Côte d\u27Ivoire
Objective : The emergence of viral infections has highlighted the need for new antiviral molecules. This study is part of an exploration into finding new antiviral compounds from medicinal plants used in traditional pharmacopoeia in Côte d\u27Ivoire. The aim is to determine which of the extracts from Gliricidia sepium leaves and Xylopia aethiopica fruits (hydroalcoholic, hexane/water, ethyl acetate/water, aqueous) exhibits the best antiviral activity.
Methodology: The cytotoxicity of each partition P1 (hydroalcoholic), P2 (hexane/water), P3 (ethyl acetate/water), P4 (aqueous) of Gliricidia sepium leaves and P1\u27 (hydroalcoholic), P2\u27 (hexane/water), P3\u27 (ethyl acetate/water), P4\u27 (aqueous) of Xylopia aethiopica fruits is determined on RD cells. The antiviral activity of these partitions was then evaluated against a type 1 enterovirus.
Results: The hexane-water partition showed high antiviral activity against type 1 enterovirus, with an inhibition of 65.78±9.21% at a concentration of 1 μg/mL for Gliricidia sepium leaves, compared to a non-significant inhibition of 86.84±5.26% at 31.25 μg/mL for Xylopia aethiopica fruits. Additionally, the aqueous partition of Gliricidia sepium induced an inhibition of 50±0.01% at a concentration of 1.95 μg/mL.
Conclusion: Hexane-water and aqueous partitions of Gliricidia sepium showed́ potent antiviral activitý against enterovirus 1 than those of Xylopia. aethiopica.

Hesperetin attenuates neuroprotective effect against 3-Nitropropionic acid induced Huntington’s disease-like behavioral symptoms in rats
The disease Huntington’s (HD) is an autosomal neurologic disorder characterized by inexorable loss of nerve cells in the brain accompanied with cognitive, motor and psychiatric disorders. In the present study, 3-Nitropropionic acid (3-NP), an inhibitor of mitochondrial citric acid cycle results in symptoms like HD. Hesperetin(HSP) is a flavanone rich in citrus species which possess neuroprotective effects. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the protective role of HSP against 3-NP induced symptoms. Pre-treatment of animals with HSP/normal saline for 7 days and from 8th day, 3-NP (10mg/kg) was co-administered with HSP. It is continued for 21 days of the treatment schedule. At the end day of the study, the results showed that HSP improved all the cognitive, motor and psychiatric symptoms induced by 3-NP significantly. Hence, these findings show the protective effect of HSP against 3-NP induced neurological disorder.

Histopathological Alterations in Placentas of Severe and Non-Severe Preeclamptic Patients
Preeclampsia is a significant pregnancy complication associated with vascular lesions and trophoblastic invasion, leading to substantial maternal and fetal risks. This study compares histopathological changes in placental structures among severe and non-severe preeclamptic patients. Placental tissues were analyzed, revealing that preeclampsia groups showed notable villous degeneration, increased fibrin deposition, vascular dilatation, congestion, and syncytial node formation. Severe preeclampsia further exhibited intensified hemorrhage and leukocyte infiltration. These findings underscore the link between preeclampsia severity and placental dysfunction, providing insights into the pathological mechanisms affecting perinatal outcomes.
