Developing Speaking Skill through Opinion Expression Method in Islamic Higher Education Context
Through the Opinion Expressions Method, this study seeks to improve students' speaking skill in the context of Islamic higher education. It was separated into two cycles and planned as a cooperative classroom action research project. Data were gathered throughout six speaking lesson meetings during the second semester's term from class observations, field notes, questionnaires, and speaking tests. 24 students participated in the study. Based on the specified success criteria, the researchers determined how well the students were developing their speaking skill. According to the results, 11 students (48%) failed the first cycle while 13 students (54%) successfully completed it. The researchers carried on to the following cycle because the students’ speaking skill had not yet met the standards for success. Some changes were made to address the shortcomings in the First cycle, including: requiring more direction in structuring sentences by posing and responding to questions based on the callings in the photos provided in groups; encouraging students to be active in group work; emphasizing the importance of having fair distribution of work among the participants; and explaining that the direction-giving process should be improved. In the second cycle, 19 students (79%) successfully gained it, while just 5 students (21%) failed. Finally, a fascinating implication of this research was that the Opinion Expressions Method may be used to improve students' speaking skill

Review of Arabic Autocorrect System in Sahehly Application
This research was conducted to investigate and determine the accuracy of the automatic correction system for Arabic texts. The focus of this research was the autocorrection system found in the Sahehly application, with analysis conducted on the harakat, tarakib, and grammatical aspects of the Arabic language. Accuracy is a very important part of an application system because accuracy can influence correct results and reduce the occurrence of errors. This study examined the review of the autocorrect system in the Sahehly application. The sample text used was the book of Fathul Qorib in the chapter of law and witnesses. The method used in this research was descriptive analysis with text study research design. From the results of the analysis, 3 words were found to be corrected with the application of Sahehly on grammatical aspects. However, when reviewed, the results of the Sahehly correction were less precise, and no changes needed to be made because they were correct. Then, the researchers found inaccuracies in 22 words that were given harakat by the Sahehly application. Thus, the presence of Sahehly is one of the developments of artificial intelligence (AI) in Arabic to provide harakat, but it is not fully perfect. Therefore, the use of Sahehly should be re-examined by referring to the knowledge that has been learned and referring to the available Arabic dictionaries and books
Portrait of the figure of Buya Hamka in the film Buya Hamka Vol.1 (A Semiotic Study)
Photographing a character's life journey into an interesting film is a job full of challenges. The accuracy of the narrative, setting, and the ability to bring back the characters is a process that is not easy. Buya Hamka Film Vol. 1 itself cannot be separated from criticism and public scrutiny, such as a hanging story and less than optimal supporting cast. But on the other hand, many people also appreciate the story and actors in this film. Apart from that, discussions about how long it took to make the film also filled social media timelines a few days after the film was released. Therefore, this research aims to look at the figure of Hamka depicted in the film using a semiotic perspective. This research uses Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis as a reference in dissecting symbols in films. Data collection was carried out by watching films repeatedly, then recording scenes and conversations which could be used as data to then be analyzed semiotically. The research results show that the film Buya Hamka Vol. Figure 1 shows symbols and dialogue depicting the figure of Hamka. The portrait of Hamka in this film includes his ability to preach through writing, a humanist and simple figure, as well as a political figure. It is hoped that further research can dissect this film with other approaches and methods to see another side of this work
