    Diversion of Nazhir Waqf; Analysis of BWI Regulation No. 1 of 2020

    Diversion of Waqf Nazhir Analysis of the BWI No. 1 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Waqf Property Management, this study aims to elaborate on waqf, dismissal and replacement of waqf nazhirs. This research uses library research presented descriptively with a normative legal approach. Data collected using literature on waqf fiqh and waqf legislation in Indonesia. This study shows that referring to the history of waqf which is used as the basis of waqf, namely the act of Umar bin Khattab endowment of land in Khaibar that Umar was ordered by the Messenger of Allah to withhold the principal and alms the proceeds. So the definition of waqf is the legal act of a person or group of people or legal entity (wakif) that separates part of his property and institutionalizes it forever for the benefit of worship or other public affairs in accordance with Islamic teachings. Nazhir plays a role in managing and utilizing waqf assets to be productive, nazhir is required to have scientific competence of amaliah, scientific shari'iyah and da'wiyah. Nazhir was given guidance and can also be dismissed by BWI if he does not carry out his duties and/or violates the prohibitions stipulated by laws and regulation

    Religious instructors are the “spearhead†of the Ministry of Religion in carrying out the duties and functions of fostering religious communities in order to improve the quality of people's religious life. This study aims to explore the efforts of religious instructors in shaping positive character in adolescents who drop out of school in Sei Bilah Village, Pangkalan Brandan. In the context of this community, teenagers who drop out of school often fall into promiscuity, so the role of religious instructors as pioneers assigned to deal with this problem is important. This research uses a qualitative approach by analyzing data using the Miles and Huberman method which includes data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and triangulation. Through regular coaching every week, religious instructors provide guidance, advice, as well as effective strategies to form positive characters in teenage dropouts. The methods used include mentoring and Quran literacy training to eradicate Quran illiteracy. The findings from this study are expected to provide valuable insights in improving the coaching of out-of-school youth at the local level and contribute to the development of better practices and policies in the future

    Fostering School-Age Teenagers: An Effort to Repress Child Marriage in The Perspective of Talcott Parsons

    This research has examined the influence of Fostering School-Age Teenagers Program (BRUS) in repressing child marriage rates in Sleman Yogyakarta, which is analyzed based on Talcott Parsons' functional structural theory through four stages, namely AGIL (Adaptation, Goal attainment, Integration, and Latency) against the BRUS program implementation guidelines contained in the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Public Guidance Number 1012 of 2022. The method used by the author in this research is a quantitative method, with a sociological approach, using the Respondent Achievement Level (RAL) formula with the help of the SPSS version 29 program and Microsoft Excel which is adjusted to the efforts aligned with the 4 stages in the AGIL concept. Respondents in this study were students who had participated in Fostering School-Age Teenagers Program in several Senior High Schools / Equivalents in Sleman Regency with a sample size of 487 students who had an age range of 15-19 years. The results of this study found that in general, the Adaptation, Goal attainment, and Integration stages were only realized in 11.9% of high schools in Sleman. In addition, only 4% of high schools have reached the Latency stage. Then the effect of this Fostering School-Age Teenage Program in repressing the desire for child marriage in teenagers is on average 77.58% with a good enough category for 16 SMA / equivalent in Sleman. However, in the aspect of decision-making in teenagers such as decisions in lectures, marriage, and careers is still as evidenced by 40% of teenagers who have participated in BRUS still have difficulty making decisions. BRUS still experience difficulties in making decisions

    This research aims to find out the implementation of regional autonomy in Indonesia in general and also to find out about Fiqh Siyasah's view on the implementation of regional autonomy in Indonesia. A qualitative approach was used in conducting this research and data was obtained through relevant literature studies. The result, Islam provides space for ijtihad in the area of ​​siyasah or state politics provided that it is done to achieve the goals of benefit and justice as well as the welfare of the general public. One of the things related to the siyasah area is related to the implementation of regional autonomy in Indonesia. Basically, the provision of regional autonomy in Indonesia is a space to provide opportunities for each region in this country to explore and develop the potential of each region in order to provide prosperity for regional communities. The conclusion, this article highlights the importance of local government autonomy within a federal structure to encourage grassroots democracy and self-governance. Islamic law does not have specific rules regarding regional autonomy, and this concept emerged during the reform era to promote justice and prosperity. However, Islam still acknowledges the concept of baldatun thayyibatun, which is based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet

    From Conflict to Peace: Fuqaha Political Exegesis on Israel's War Crimes in Palestine

    The aims of this research are to analyse the contributions of Indonesian netizens' comments regarding Israel's war crimes in Palestine and to examine the contributions of fuqaha's political exegesis towards peace politics in addressing these crimes. The study provides insights into Indonesian netizens' views and the role of fuqaha in promoting sustainable peace. Using an in-depth qualitative method and textual analysis, the research focuses on fuqaha interpretations of Israel's war crimes, the two-state solution, Palestinian independence, and the role of Islamic law in peace and reconciliation. Participants include fuqaha experts, Islamic studies and international law academics, and Indonesian netizens selected for their expertise. Data collection involves analyzing war crimes documents, two-state resolution texts, and public forum comments. Thematic coding identifies patterns in the data. Findings show Indonesian netizens' strong opinions on social media, calling for accountability for figures like Netanyahu and urging ICC action. Fuqaha, like Al-Shafi'i, Al-Shaukani, and Al-Zuhaily, emphasise peace and justice, condemning Israel's violations of international law. They advocate for integrating Islamic principles into political and social approaches to achieve lasting peace

    Indonesia's diverse cultural heritage significantly contributes to its economic growth, yet the current intellectual property system, based on Western principles, may not fully align with the country's cultural values. This research aims to enhance the legal framework for Indonesia’s communal intellectual property (CIP), by exploring the potentials brought by of Islamic law, particularly Maqasid al-Shariah. For this purpose, this research utilizes the normative legal research method, analyzing relevant norms within existing laws and Islamic legal doctrines, revealing conceptual correlations between Maqasid al-Shariah and CIP. This research also aims to addresses the common misconceptions regarding Maqasid al-Shariah is crucial for effectively utilizing Islamic law principles in Indonesia's legal system. The analysis demonstrates that communal intellectual property aligns with both Western IP principles and Islamic values, as it recognizes the importance of community welfare and individual benefits. Integrating Maqasid al-Shariah values into Indonesia's CIP legal framework can promote a more inclusive, equitable system that respects collective knowledge and cultural heritage while fostering innovation and creativity

    The article explores the integration of international law and Islamic judicial principles in post-conflict reconstruction to foster long-term peace. The research aims to assess how these legal frameworks contribute to governance, human rights, and reconciliation in societies recovering from war. Utilizing a qualitative methodology, the study analyzes case studies and legal documents to examine the effectiveness of combining international and Islamic legal systems in addressing post-conflict challenges. The findings reveal that while international law provides a foundation for accountability and normative standards, its universal application often neglects local traditions and culturally rooted dispute-resolution processes critical for sustainable peace. By incorporating Islamic judicial principles, which emphasize justice, reconciliation, and community involvement, these gaps can be addressed effectively. The study concludes that the integration of Islamic judicial concepts with international legal norms offers a culturally sensitive approach to rebuilding post-conflict societies, enhancing local ownership and sociopolitical alignment. This nuanced framework holds the potential to strengthen governance structures and promote enduring peace

This study is prompted by the quest for a comprehensive understanding of the digital services offered by BSI, specifically focusing on identifying distinctive features, evaluating integration levels, and assessing their impact on the operational efficiency of the bank. Employing a qualitative approach through the library research method, the research draws data from diverse sources, including literature, scientific journals, books, official documents, and pertinent information accessible through library repositories and digital platforms.Utilizing a literature study as the primary data collection technique and applying the Miles and Huberman data analysis method, this research ensures the validity and reliability of findings by relying on credible sources such as scientific journals and official documents from Bank Syariah Indonesia. The outcomes of this research successfully unveil and elaborate on the array of digital services provided by BSI, highlighting distinctive features that set it apart from conventional mobile banking applications. The analysis of BSI Mobile features offers profound insights into services that embody a holistic approach, demonstrating efficiency and compliance with Sharia financial principles.This research serves as a foundational knowledge source for future inquiries. The anticipation is that a more profound comprehension of digital service types, specific features, and their effects on BSI's operational efficiency will serve as a guide for developing more efficacious strategies in the future.     Linking Corporate Governance With Investment Growth: Evidence From General Shariah Insurance in Indonesia

    Purpose: This study aims to examine the role of good corporate governance on investment growth in sharia general insurance companies in Indonesia. This study is motivated by the low return on investment made in sharia general insurance in Indonesia.Design/Method/Approach : This research is a quantitative research with multiple regression analysis method using eviews. The variables in this study consist of one dependent variable and three independent variables. The data used in this study is time series data starting from 2028 to 2019, the sample selection in this study uses a purposive sampling technique consisting of 102 samples.Findings: The results of the study indicate that the board of directors variable (X1) has a significant effect on investment growth, with a calculated t value of 3.533585 greater than the t table of 1.983971519 and a probability value of 0.0006 which is smaller than 0.05. On the other hand, the independent board of commissioners variable (X2) and company size (X3) do not have a significant effect on investment growth. The independent board of commissioners variable has a calculated t value of -0.886408 smaller than the t table and a probability value of 0.3776> 0.05, while the company size variable has a calculated t value of -0.451771 smaller than the t table and a probability value of 0.6524> 0.05.Originality/Values: This research provides a major contribution regarding the importance of implementing good corporate governance and its relationship to investment growth

    The use of Blooket: A Study of Student’s Perception Enhancing English Vocabulary Mastery

    Memorizing vocabulary is hard for certain students; this conventional strategy has so many weaknesses. Therefore, technology has an important role in the scope of teaching and learning EFL. Engaging students’ habits with their gadgets, especially in gamification “Blooket†is a new way to enhance students’ vocabulary mastery. This study stands to examine the use of educational games-based learning to enhance Students’ English vocabulary. A qualitative study will be carried out as a study-based design and focus on students’ perception of playing the Blooket game.  40 students (7,8 and 9 grades of Junior High School students) were involved as a subject of research. A questionnaire was given to students using Google Forms to get the data and analyzed it. The result shows that using Blooket can enhance students’ motivation in learning vocabulary because it makes them fun, competitive, and understand the vocabulary (not by memorizing). Blooket also has weakness in speed and accuracy because of Internet connection and the gadget’s performance. Therefore, this can be used as an alternative to breaking the old way of learning vocabular
