    Get PDF
This study aims to design and implement an automation system for drying and grinding coffee beans using infrared sensors and phototransistors controlled by a computer. Traditional methods are often inefficient and have a high risk of contamination. The automation system, utilizing advanced sensor technology, is expected to improve the efficiency and cleanliness of the coffee bean processing. The research methodology involves designing a system consisting of key components such as infrared sensors to detect moisture, phototransistors to measure light intensity, and actuators driven by stepper motors and DC motors. The research results show that this system can reduce drying and grinding time, improve process accuracy, and decrease manual labor involvement. Simulations and system prototypes demonstrate that this automation system can be practically applied, enhancing the efficiency and cleanliness of the coffee bean processing. In conclusion, this automation system can reduce contamination risk, increase productivity, and lower operational costs in the coffee processing industry

The purpose of this study is to answer how ex-wives' efforts in demanding child support after divorce. The research method used is empirical normative with deductive approach analysis. The results of the study stated that, if related to the problems in this paper that concern efforts that can be made to force the male parent (father) to fulfill the contents of the decision of the Religious Court that punishes him to provide for the child, then the mother can request the execution of payment of living expenses to the Religious Court to force the male parent (father) to provide for the child's bread. The mother can apply for execution against the male parent (father) who neglects the obligation to provide for the child, of course, it can only be done if the male parent (father) has property that can be executed. The issue of living costs cannot also be overcome through legal remedies if it turns out that the property of his parents does not exist, so even if he asks for execution it will be in vain. Furthermore, if from the beginning, the cost of living is not requested by the mother at the time of examination of the divorce dispute and then it turns out that the male parent (father) did not provide the child's bread, then the mother can file a claim for child support against the male parent (father) to the Religious Court which is separate from the previous divorce dispute

This problem is motivated by several issues that the author found at Junior High School 1 Banuhampu West Sumatera, especially in the subject of Islamic religious education in class VII, where in the learning process, the media used is poor and does not keep up with the times to cause student apathy towards the concentration of P.A.I. subjects so that it causes low student learning outcomes. The research aims to restore the enthusiasm of students’ learning that has disappeared. So that students can learn more enthusiastically in the future. The research method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D or 4P model, which has 4 phases: defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. This test was carried out in three stages: a validity test conducted by several experts in their fields, such as material, appearance, and language using Aikens’ V. The next practicality test was performed with educators. The next practicality test was carried out with educators at school using the Kappa moment (K). The feasibility test was conducted on several students, namely VII 5 and VII 6 class students using G-Score (<g>). The validity test results with a value of 0.90 were declared feasible, the practicality test results with a value of 0.92 were declared very helpful, and the feasibility test results obtained from the T-test results on the limited trial showed a T table value of 10.422 with an α value of 0.000. If tested with a confidence level of sig 0.05, the α result is smaller than 0.05. Thus, the effectiveness of learning using animated video-based learning media is higher than in classes that only use conventional, so H1 is accepted. In addition, Islamic religious education learning media based on animated videos is feasible for learning at Junior High School

Household disharmony, often stemming from limited understanding of marital rights and responsibilities, continues to challenge the formation of sakinah families in Padangsidimpuan Batunadua District. This issue persists despite the presence of Islamic Religious Counselors whose central role is to guide couples in achieving marital tranquility aligned with Islamic teachings. This study aims to examine how Islamic Religious Counselors contribute to shaping sakinah families and to identify the factors that support or hinder their efforts. A qualitative method was employed, with data gathered through observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed Miles and Huberman’s procedures. The results indicate that Islamic Religious Counselors exert a substantial influence by providing religious guidance, pre and post marital counseling, and community based educational program aimed to reinforcing moral principles and mutual understanding. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of these efforts is constrained by inadequate facilities and a shortage of certified counselors, compelling reliance on basic religious study forums to address family issues. Enhancing infrastructural support and expanding counselor certification programs may therefore improve the quality and reach of religious counseling services, ultimately fostering more harmonious and resilient family units

Optimizing Prenuptial Agreements for Asset Protection: A Maqashid Sharia Based Approach

    Get PDF
This research aims to explore the optimization of PNAs for asset protection by integrating the principles of maqashid sharia, which emphasize the protection of religion, life, intellect, progeny, and wealth. The high divorce rates in Indonesia, mainly due to online gambling, highlight the vulnerability of asset protection at the beginning of marriage and underscore the importance of prenuptial agreements (PNAs). This research uses a qualitative approach with normative juridical analysis methods. Secondary data was obtained through critical analysis of related literature, including the Indonesian Marriage Law, previous academic studies, and other legal documents related to the PNA. The descriptive-analytical method is used to evaluate the effectiveness of PNA in protecting assets based on maqasid sharia principles. The main question addressed is how PNAs can be effectively utilized to safeguard personal assets and reduce conflicts within marriage. This study critically analyzes Law No. 16/2019 Indonesian Marriage Law and suggests improvements to enhance the effectiveness of PNAs. The analysis reveals that detailed provisions on the content of PNAs, simplification of the legalization process, mandatory legal consultation, and enhanced public education are essential for optimizing asset protection. The findings underscore the necessity of PNAs in providing legal certainty, promoting justice, and ensuring the welfare of both parties in marriage, aligning with the maqashid sharia principles. This research contributes to the existing literature by offering a new perspective on applying Maqashid sharia in PNAs and provides practical guidelines for drafting effective and Sharia-compliant PNAs
