Execution of Second-Rank Mortgage Rights Due to breach of contract at PT Bank Sulutgo
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Article 20, Paragraph (2) of Law Number 4 of 1996 on Mortgage Rights in the execution of mortgage guarantees due to Breach Of Contract, with a focus on the case of PT Bank Sulutgo. The main issue examined is the challenges in executing Second-Rank Mortgage Rights when multiple creditors are involved, as well as the legal uncertainty surrounding the private sale mechanism. This research employs an empirical juridical method with a socio-legal approach, combining document studies and interviews with relevant parties at PT Bank Sulutgo. The findings indicate that execution through public auction often encounters administrative and legal obstacles, particularly concerning the position of the Second-Rank Mortgage Rights holder, who is dependent on the First-Rank Mortgage Rights holder. Furthermore, the lack of clear regulations regarding the execution of Second-Rank Mortgage Rights leads to multiple interpretations in practice. As an alternative, private sales provide a more flexible solution; however, in the case of PT Bank Sulutgo, this mechanism negatively impacts other debtors who still have outstanding credit obligations. This study concludes that the effectiveness of Article 20, Paragraph (2) of the Mortgage Rights Law remains weak in providing legal certainty for Second-Rank Mortgage Rights holders. Therefore, more detailed regulations on the execution mechanism of Second-Rank Mortgage Rights are necessary to ensure legal protection for all parties involved
Improving Junior High School Students' Writing Skills through the PQP Technique
Writing skills are vital for English as a Foreign Language learners as the skills are beneficial for effective communication and analytical thinking. However, there is a lack of writing skills in KUD Pesari Kuni Muara Enim junior high school students. This research aimed to explore the effectiveness of the Praise, Questions, Polish (PQP) technique in improving students’ writing ability. The researchers employed a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest arrangement involving 55 eighth-grade students from two classes of a private junior high school in KUD Pesari Kuni Muara Enim, with 27 students in the experimental group and 28 students in the control group. Data were gathered using tests administered both before and after the treatment. The hypothesis was tested by analyzing pre-test and post-test data using the independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test in the SPSS software. The research findings indicated a significant difference between the experimental group taught with the PQP technique and the control group receiving conventional instruction. Statistical analysis showed a significant difference in pre-test and post-test scores for both groups, with a significance level of p < 0.05. Paired-sample t-tests and independent-sample t-tests revealed that the difference between conventional and PQP methods was 0.003, while the difference in pre-test and post-test scores was 0.004. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the PQP technique has a significant positive impact on students' writing skills
Wordwall Platform and Its Effect on Students’ Reading Comprehension
The effect of the Wordwall platform in enhancing students' reading comprehension was examined in this study, focusing on eighth-grade students at a private Islamic Junior High school in Jambi. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed, involving two groups: an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of 29 students selected through cluster random sampling. Data were obtained through pre-tests and post-tests using short essay questions focused on recount texts. A notable effect in reading performance was observed in the experimental group, which mean score increased from 55.86 to 76.03. Meanwhile, the control group demonstrated a smaller increase, from 57.59 to 69.14. The data met the assumptions of normality and homogeneity, and a statistically significant difference was identified through a post-test t-test (t = 3.699, p = 0.01), indicating that the alternative hypothesis could be accepted. These results suggest that the integration of Wordwall into reading comprehension contributes positively to students’ learning outcomes. Moreover, its interactive features were found to enhance student engagement, indicating that digital tools such as Wordwall can be effectively utilized to support reading comprehension, particularly in junior high school contexts

The Management of Vocational High School Curriculum Implementation Based on Islamic Boarding Schools: (A Study at Manbaul Ulum Vocational School in Cirebon, Ciwaringin of Cirebon Regency, Bina Insan Mandiri in Cirebon)
This study examines a model of curriculum integration rooted in Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) principles across three Vocational High Schools (VHSs) in Cirebon Regency: VHS Manbaul Ulum, VHS Ciwaringin, and VHS Bina Insan Mandiri. The research explores how national curriculum standards, vocational competencies, and Islamic educational values are designed, implemented, and managed to produce graduates with both technical proficiency and strong Islamic character. A qualitative case study method was employed, utilizing observations, interviews with teachers, Kyai, principals, and Pesantren administrators, and curriculum documentation. Analysis focused on the planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the integrated model. Results indicate that integration was achieved through stakeholder collaboration, with an organizational structure promoting synergy between vocational and Islamic education. Instructional activities combined vocational learning with Pesantren practices such as religious study, memorization, and daily moral formation. Regular evaluations involved feedback from parents and industry partners. While the model effectively nurtured religious-professional graduates, challenges included academic overload, limited student rest, scheduling issues, and insufficient teacher preparation for integrated instruction. This study contributes to developing a Pesantren-based curriculum management framework, supporting the advancement of holistic and competitive vocational education in Indonesia
Enhancing Arabic Speaking Skills: The Potential of Gamification in Reducing Language Anxiety
This study aims to investigate the potential of gamification as an innovative pedagogical strategy to reduce Arabic speaking anxiety and improve speaking performance. Speaking anxiety remains one of the most prevalent and persistent barriers to acquiring proficiency in Arabic, often hindering learners’ active participation and communicative fluency. While cognitive outcomes in language learning have received increasing attention, emotional variables, particularly anxiety, have been comparatively underexplored. Guided by the central research question, how does gamification influence learners’ Arabic speaking anxiety and speaking skill development? this study adopted a qualitative research design involving classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation within an intensive Arabic language program. Thematic analysis was employed to identify recurring patterns and interpret participants’ experiences. The findings indicated a notable reduction in speaking anxiety by 78%, an increase in student engagement by 85%, a 72% boost in self-confidence, and a 25% improvement in pronunciation accuracy. Gamified elements such as rewards, collaboration, and progress tracking emerged as particularly effective, and 68% of participants perceived these features as beneficial to their learning process. These results highlight the dual function of gamification in enhancing both cognitive and affective dimensions of Arabic language acquisition, especially in speaking. The study offers practical implications for language educators in designing emotionally responsive and interactive learning environments. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term impacts of gamification across varied learner profiles and proficiency levels
Effectiveness of the Station Rotation Blended Learning Model in Mastering Mufradat
This study examines the effectiveness of the station rotation blended learning (BL) model in enhancing the mastery of mufradat (Arabic vocabulary) among Grade VII students at MTs Anwar Futuhiyyah Yogyakarta. The research was motivated by the low vocabulary mastery among students, attributed to limited instructional time and a lack of innovation in Arabic language teaching. To address this, the researcher introduced a station rotation BL model designed to promote student engagement and deepen vocabulary understanding. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The sample consisted of 16 students from classes 7A and 7B, selected through simple saturated sampling. The Mann–Whitney test results showed no significant difference in pre-test scores between the control and experimental groups (p = 0.954 > 0.05), indicating comparable initial proficiency. Post-test results analyzed with an Independent Sample T-Test also showed no significant difference between the two groups (p = 0.097 > 0.05), suggesting that the station rotation BL model did not significantly improve students’ vocabulary mastery. Based on these findings, it is recommended that teachers explore alternative instructional models to enhance mufradat acquisition at MTs Anwar Futuhiyyah
