Kamojing Dam Crisis Communications Model as an Effort to Mitigate Dam Failure Disaster
Get PDFKarawang stands as the third district most at risk from flooding. The Kamojing Dam, serving as a reservoir and regulator of water flow in the Cikampek area of Karawang Regency, plays a crucial role in controlling flood disasters. Currently over a century old, the Kamojing Dam is susceptible to disasters such as dam failures and ruptures, which can lead to sudden flooding. Therefore, disaster mitigation efforts are needed in an effort to minimize the risk due to disasters, one of which is through risk communication. This study aimed to investigate the role of risk communication in mitigating the disaster caused by the Kamojing Dam failure. This study employs a qualitative research method, utilizing in-depth interviews. The study's results show that Kamojing Dam uses both internal and external communication systems to communicate dam conditions through the WhatsApp Group, thereby minimizing disaster risks. External risk communication involves various stakeholders who act as liaisons between dam managers and the community. Additionally, the dam implements an early warning system through various media
Pengaruh Tiktok terhadap Tren Busana Remaja Muslimah Desa Aek Raso Kecamatan Torgamba
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana platform TikTok berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan tren busana di kalangan remaja Muslimah yang berdomisili di Desa Aek Raso. Latar belakang studi ini berangkat dari fenomena meningkatnya intensitas penggunaan media sosial, terutama TikTok, di kalangan remaja, yang secara langsung memengaruhi preferensi gaya berpakaian mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa penyebaran kuesioner secara daring melalui Google Form. Subjek penelitian adalah remaja Muslimah yang tinggal di wilayah tersebut.Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 23, dengan pengujian yang mencakup validitas, reliabilitas, serta analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis terhadap 80 responden menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan TikTok dan tren busana Muslimah. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji regresi linear sederhana yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (lebih kecil dari 0,05) dan nilai t hitung sebesar 10,661 yang lebih besar dari t tabel sebesar 1,664, sehingga hipotesis alternatif (Ha) dapat diterima. Lebih lanjut, nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,593 mengindikasikan bahwa 59,3% perubahan dalam tren busana Muslimah dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan TikTok, sedangkan 40,7% sisanya disebabkan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Adapun perkembangan tren fashion Muslimah di Desa Aek Raso menunjukkan peningkatan seiring dengan tingginya keterpaparan remaja terhadap konten di TikTok. Para remaja mulai mengadopsi gaya berhijab modern yang diperkenalkan oleh para influencer, dengan tetap mempertahankan kesesuaian terhadap nilai-nilai agama dan budaya setempat. Fenomena ini mencerminkan terjadinya proses adaptasi budaya, di mana tren global diintegrasikan dengan identitas keislaman lokal secara harmonis
The Influence of Religious Education in Muslim Families on Understanding Peace and Tolerance
Get PDFThis study reveals the complexity of the influence of religious education in Muslim families on children’s understanding of peace and tolerance. This study utilises library research by conducting an integrative and comprehensive literature analysis to investigate existing conceptual frameworks, evaluate findings from various previous studies, and identify knowledge gaps in the relevant literature. The study’s results stated that religious education provided in the family has a significant impact on shaping the attitudes and actions of children related to peace and tolerance. Religious instruction focusing on human values, compassion, and justice in their religious context makes children more likely to promote peace and value religious diversity. Therefore, the development of religious education that is balanced, inclusive, and oriented to the values of peace within the Muslim family has great potential to contribute to creating a more harmonious and inclusive society
Conceptual Analysis of the Merdeka Curriculum and Its Implementation at MAN 1 Sukabumi
Get PDFThis research describes the understanding of the head of MAN 1 Sukabumi and the educators regarding the Merdeka curriculum. This understanding led the head of the madrasah to implement the Merdeka curriculum in the madrasah. The implementation consists of the preparation stage, implementation stage, and strengthening the Pancasila student profile and raḥmatan lil'ālamīn profile. This research employs a qualitative case study method. Data collection methods were in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. This research found that (1) The Merdeka curriculum is understood by educators at MAN 1 Sukabumi as an educational tool that facilitates diverse intracurricular learning, focuses on essential material, and develops student competencies, gives the school the authority to create a curriculum under its characteristics, and supports strengthening Pancasila student profile and raḥmatan lil'ālamīn profile. (2) The Merdeka curriculum at MAN 1 Sukabumi has been implemented optimally, except for several aspects that have not been fully implemented. There are eleven aspects of implementation at the ready stage, three aspects at the developing stage, and one aspect at the initial stage. (3) Strengthening the student profile of Pancasila and raḥmatan ālamīn at MAN 1 Sukabumi is carried out through projects with the themes of local wisdom, Pancasila democracy, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika
Synergizing Multiple Intelligences with Learning Strategies in Islamic and Western Education Perspectives
Get PDFLearning strategies from both Islamic education and Western perspectives are essential for achieving educational objectives effectively and efficiently. However, these objectives are often unmet as strategies tend to focus more on teaching methods for instructors rather than on learning processes for students. In this context, the theory of multiple intelligences offers an alternative approach to developing more effective learning strategies. This study explores ways to integrate various intelligences within Islamic and Western perspectives in educational strategy. This descriptive qualitative research employs a library research approach. The findings indicate that multiple intelligences can be integrated into learning strategies from both perspectives. This integration process begins with selecting appropriate learning models, which are then analyzed based on student activities and adapted to align with students' intelligence types. In the implementation, student engagement should be prioritized over teacher-centered instruction, the most effective learning modalities should be employed, materials should relate to students' experiences, emotional involvement should be incorporated in delivering content, and student participation should be encouraged to produce meaningful outcomes
Principal Duties in Integrated Islamic Junior High Schools: : A Case Study in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta
Get PDFThe role of school principals has become increasingly complex, particularly within Integrated Islamic Junior High Schools (SMPIT) in Indonesia, where principals must balance managerial, instructional, administrative, and religious leadership responsibilities. This study examines how SMPIT principals in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, perform their daily duties amidst multiple demands and limited resources. A concurrent embedded mixed-methods approach was employed to simultaneously collect quantitative and qualitative data. Four principals from different SMPIT schools participated in the study through purposive sampling. Quantitative data were gathered via structured interviews and analyzed descriptively. In contrast, qualitative data from semi-structured interviews and unstructured observations were examined using thematic analysis. The results indicate that principals spend most of their time on managerial (19.5%), administrative (18.7%), leadership (17.1%), and supervisory (15.5%) duties, with less time for teaching and miscellaneous tasks. The study reveals the practical challenges of dual-role leadership in faith-based institutions. It highlights the importance of contextually informed leadership models. These results expand the global discourse on educational leadership by offering empirical insights into how religious and managerial roles intersect in developing countries
Islamic Literacy Education as An Effort to Prevent Bullying at Muhammadiyah Junior High School Suradadi Tegal
Get PDFA series of bullying incidents in the school environment is increasingly concerning. Bullying involving students has now reached the junior high and even elementary school levels. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of bullying prevention strategies at Muhammadiyah Junior High School Suradadi Tegal. This study specifically investigates the integration of Islamic literacy within a comprehensive bullying prevention framework. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. The informants were selected using purposive sampling, based on criteria determined by the researcher. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis techniques. The findings show that the implementation strategy for bullying prevention through the integration of Islamic literacy at Muhammadiyah Junior High School Suradadi Tegal was carried out in several ways: (1) Formulating policies related to bullying; (2) Promoting the concept of Child-Friendly Schools (CFS); (3) Collaborating with external parties; (4) Hidden curriculum; (5) Internalization of Islamic Literacy. The unique finding of this study is that bullying prevention strategies are not only based on formal policies but are also strengthened through the internalization of Islamic literacy into school culture, such as using the slogan fastabiqul khoirat, the morning greeting habit, and external collaborations that foster empathy and equality among students
A Frame for Multiculturalism Moderation in Perspective of Multiculturalism Education in Indonesia

Religious moderation understanding and insight need to be developed to strengthen Indonesian society that distinction is not a disability but a gift from God as a plural form of nation and a requirement for culture. Through multiculturalism education by developing attitudes, norms, behavior, respecting differences, and cultural diversity (respecting other cultures) it is expected to preserve steadiness and concordance among citizens to coexist. The strategy utilized is library research. The article concluded that multiculturalism education in Indonesia can go well with a contextual and relevant understanding of religious moderation. In dealing with people with heterogeneous characters, a powerful medium is used through multiculturalism education to minimize radicalism in the form of knowledge, belief, or avoiding contradictory things that are incompatible with the tolerant nation's culture. The results of this study indicate that the application of the values of the Qur'an and hadith at MTsN 1 Padang Pariaman plays an important role in Islamic-based character education. By integrating religious teachings into the learning process, the school succeeds in forming students who are not only intelligent, but also have good character and noble character. The role of teachers as role models and moral coaches is crucial, as their integrity influences students in applying Islamic values. As a result, students show more disciplined, honest and tolerant behavior. This approach contributes to the birth of a younger generation who can bring Islamic values into their daily lives and become agents of positive change in society
