Designing a Transglobal Leadership Model to Optimize Holistic Learning Within The Independent Learning Framework
The holistic learning strategy within the Merdeka Curriculum has not yet been fully effective, primarily due to the limited role of school leadership in fostering a collaborative and reflective learning ecosystem. Responding to this gap, this study proposes a Transglobal Leadership Model designed to support holistic learning aligned with the principles of Merdeka Belajar. The model integrates six core leadership intelligences (cognitive, emotional, moral, business, cultural, and global) positioning school principals as adaptive agents capable of navigating educational challenges in the VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) era. Conducted in public high schools in Tomohon City, this qualitative study employed in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis to examine how school leaders enact holistic learning values in practice. The findings reveal that collective behaviors namely awareness, commitment, and openness, are key drivers in optimizing holistic learning processes. These results broaden the theoretical landscape of educational leadership and offer strategic insights for strengthening principals’ leadership capacity within the Merdeka Belajar framework. However, the study is limited by its narrow geographical scope and exclusive reliance on qualitative methods, which do not statistically validate the relationships between variables. Future research should employ mixed-methods approaches to test the model’s validity and expand its applicability across diverse educational settings. The proposed model offers a leadership framework that is both globally adaptive and locally grounded, aligning with Indonesia’s educational transformation imperatives
School Leadership Transformation: The Role of Motivation in Linking Competence, Work Environment to Principal Performance
This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and competence on work motivation, as well as their direct and indirect effects on the performance of high school principals in Langsa City. The main issue identified is the low motivation and performance of principals due to an unsupportive work environment and suboptimal competence. The research employs a quantitative approach using path analysis, based on survey data collected from 240 teachers and school supervisors. The results show that competence and work environment significantly affect work motivation, while motivation strongly influences principal performance. Competence has both direct and indirect effects on performance, whereas the effect of the work environment on performance is fully mediated by work motivation. These findings highlight the crucial role of motivation as a bridge between competence and work environment in improving principal performance, while also enriching educational leadership theory and school management policy development

Building Equitable Decentralization in Central Papua through Reformulation of Food Security Governance Based on the Prevalence of Insufficient Consumption
Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2024, the prevalence of inadequate food consumption in Central Papua reached 37.69%, the highest nationally. This condition reflects the weak implementation of the principle of equitable decentralization, especially in the food security sector. The research aims to analyze the relevance of the prevalence of insufficient consumption as an evaluative indicator of the performance of regional autonomy, as well as to formulate the direction of reformulation of food security governance based on the principles of asymmetric decentralization and institutional independence. The method used is normative legal research with an empirical approach, which combines statutory, conceptual and socio-juridical approaches. Data analysis is done descriptively-analytically and evaluatively to reveal the gap between legal norms and structural reality in Central Papua. The results show the dysfunction of autonomy due to the absence of adequate fiscal and institutional support. The novelty of this research lies in the placement of food consumption indicators as a juridical benchmark for the effectiveness of decentralization in new autonomous regions. The scientific contribution of this research reinforces the urgency of preparing data-based affirmative policies and structured institutional designs to ensure the fulfillment of the right to food within the framework of substantive regional autonomy
Intellectual Capital and Operational Efficiency of Listed Firms in Nigeria: The Moderating Role of Ownership Structure
This study investigates the moderating role of ownership structure on the relationship between intellectual capital disclosure and operational efficiency in listed non-financial firms in Nigeria. Utilizing panel data from listed non-financial firms in Nigeria spanning from 2014 to 2023, the study employs an ex-post facto research design. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) regression technique are employed to address endogeneity concerns and ensure robust estimations. Intellectual capital is proxy by human capital, structural capital and relational capital; operational efficiency is proxy by operating profit margin and asset turnover while control variables include firm size, leverage and firm age. Key findings reveal that the interaction between ownership structure and human capital has a significant positive effect on operational efficiency. However, the interaction between ownership structure and structural capital has a significant negative effect on operating profit margin; thus, ownership structure demonstrates a dual role. It enhances the positive effects of human and relational capital on profitability but diminishes structural capital's influence. The study concludes that ownership concentration can both facilitate and constrain the translation of intellectual capital into operational efficiency, depending on the capital component and efficiency measure
