    Analisis Manajemen Perpustakaan dalam Menunjang Kegiatan Pembelajaran Di SMPN Karang Jaya Muratara

    This research was motivated by the suboptimal learning process at SMPN Karang Jaya, primarily caused by the limited availability of textbooks. Students have to take turns using books due to the small number of available copies. In addition, the school's library management is still not optimal, as indicated by the limited book collection and inadequate library facilities and infrastructure. The purpose of this study is to examine how library management supports the learning process. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, with the main informants being the head librarian, the principal, and teachers. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of the study reveal that: (1) library planning is carried out through short-term, medium-term, and long-term programs; (2) library organization involves grouping collections and arranging the reading space functionally; and (3) the provision of learning resources such as books, reading areas, and book storage systems has been implemented, although still limited. Overall, library management at SMPN Karang Jaya is moving in a positive direction, but further improvements are needed to optimally support the learning process

    Principal's Managerial Leadership in Improving School Quality in Senior High Schools

    The principal is a critical factor in the school's quality and plays a significant role as a leader. A principal must possess managerial skills to effectively lead and manage an educational institution. The impetus for this study is the necessity to enhance the quality of the school. This study, therefore, aims to ascertain the extent to which the principal's managerial leadership contributes to improving the school's quality. This qualitative research employed a qualitative descriptive method. Interviews, documentation, and observations were implemented as data collection techniques. The Principal, Vice Principal for Public Relations, Vice Principal for Curriculum, Vice Principal for Student Affairs, Vice Principal for Al-Islam, Muhammadiyah, and Arabic (ISMUBA), and Vice Principal for Infrastructure were all participants in this study. Using guidelines on source and technical triangulation, data analysis was then carried out using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study revealed that to effectively lead the school in enhancing its quality, a principal must possess managerial leadership skills: 1) conceptual skills, 2) humanitarian skills, and 3) technical skills

    The Role of the Pegon Script as Islamic Pedagogy in Supporting Religious Education, Local Identity, and Faith-Based Literacy in Banten Islamic Boarding Schools

    This study aims to examine the role of the Pegon Arabic Script in Islamic Religious Education learning at the Banten Islamic Boarding School, where in the process of translating the yellow book, mastery of nahwu and sharaf is absolutely necessary. However, both are considered difficult lessons for students to understand, including the translation process. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analytical approach through the case study research method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation, through data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data display, and data verification. From the results of the study, findings were obtained, where in the Islamic Religious Education learning process at the Banten Islamic Boarding School, including planning, implementation and evaluation. The Pegon Arabic Script plays a role and helps students in Islamic Religious Education learning, especially the process of translating the yellow book as teaching materials. Among its advantages, namely: all elements of the text are translated in more detail, vocabulary is wider, through symbols it can be easier, easier to understand the contents of the Yellow Book, appreciate the sense of language, and uniqueness that must be preserved. While the disadvantages are that it takes a long time to understand and requires a lot of teaching staff. Thus, the Pegon Arabic script can play a role and contribute to students in understanding the yellow book as a reference material for PAI learning at the Banten Islamic Boarding School

    Implementation of Health Promoting School Management at SD Negeri 01 Pesantren, Pemalang Central Java : Toward a Whole-School Approach

    The quality of learning plays a crucial role in determining the overall standard of education. One of the key factors influencing learning quality is the presence of a healthy and comfortable school environment. SDN 01 Pesantren has been designated as a pilot school in the Healthy School Movement program, which aims to foster a safe, clean, and supportive environment to improve learning outcomes. This study focuses on the principal’s management strategies in implementing the program. A descriptive qualitative approach grounded in phenomenological research was employed, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis for data collection. The findings indicate that the implementation of the healthy school program was managed through four main stages: planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. In the planning phase, the school conducted a needs assessment and set measurable goals related to student health and environmental hygiene. Organizing involved forming collaborative health teams, including teachers, health workers, and parents. Actuating was reflected in the implementation of regular health checks, hygiene education, and clean-up campaigns involving the school community. The controlling phase included ongoing monitoring of student health indicators, school cleanliness audits, and evaluation meetings. These core management functions enabled SDN 01 Pesantren to carry out the program effectively and efficiently. Furthermore, the results align with previous research by Herlina, who investigated the application of healthy school management at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (SICC) Boarding School. Her findings underscore the critical role of management functions in organizing, directing, and optimizing resources to achieve organizational or programmatic goals effectively and efficiently

    In the transformation and development of Islamic education, various challenges are faced, particularly in improving the quality of management and the relevance of learning. This study examines the managerial revolution in Islamic education through innovative approaches aimed at enhancing the quality of management and teaching within Islamic educational institutions. The method employed is a literature review, which gathers and analyzes various relevant literatures on innovations in the management of Islamic education, including journals, books, articles, and research reports. The approaches applied in this study include transformational leadership and strategic management, which are believed to create significant changes in the management of Islamic education, enabling it to address contemporary challenges. The primary focus of this research is to analyze the application of various innovative approaches, such as the use of technology in learning, the enhancement of leadership skills in educational management, and the development of a curriculum that is both relevant and adaptable to the evolving needs of society. The aim of this research is to explore how innovative managerial revolutions can improve the quality of Islamic education through the implementation of new approaches and provide practical recommendations for educators, education managers, and policymakers in creating a more dynamic and high-quality educational environment. The results indicate that the implementation of innovative approaches in the management of Islamic education can lead to positive impacts on the overall quality of education. The integration of technology, transformational leadership, and a relevant curriculum are key elements in creating a more effective and efficient education system. Despite the significant challenges, innovations in the management of Islamic education can bring about meaningful changes to improve the quality and relevance of Islamic education in Indonesia

    Adapting Challenge-Based Learning Model in Islamic Religious Education to Improve Students' Religious Attitudes in Secondary School

    Learning models have an important role in achieving success in achieving goals. This study aims to examine the Challenge Based Learning model and compile its implementation in Islamic Religious Education Learning to Increase Student Religiosity as the core objective of Islamic Religious Education learning. The approach in this research uses a qualitative approach with the type of literature study. The data in this study were obtained from primary sources including Challenge Based Learning Guidelines, Textbooks, and Education Regulations in Indonesia. In addition, this study also took secondary sources from various relevant scientific journal articles. The data obtained was then analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result of this study concludes that the Challenge Based Learning (CBL) model is an innovative approach that places learners as the main subject in designing real solutions to challenges relevant to their lives. CBL not only encourages active engagement, collaboration, and the development of 21st century competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration, but it is also very relevant to be implemented in Islamic Religious Education Learning to improve students' substantive religiosity. Through a systematic syntax, starting from the engage, explore, to act stages, CBL helps learners identify, analyze, and solve real problems reflectively and applicatively. Thus, the application of CBL in Islamic Religious Education learning has the potential to form a religious character that is not only symbolic, but also reflected in students' daily behavior, so as to overcome various phenomena of moral decline and religiosity in the current educational environment. Researchers in this case recommend further research in the form of implementing the Challenge Based Learning model in Islamic Religious Education Learning to Improve Students' Religious Attitudes

    Development of Interactive Learning Media with InShot Application in Arabic Language Subjects

    This research aims to develop interactive learning media using the InShot application for Arabic language instruction and to validate its effectiveness through evaluations by material experts, media experts, and student trials. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach following the ADDIE model, combining qualitative methods through direct interviews with Arabic language teachers and quantitative methods via media and material validation. The development of digital technology has significantly transformed education, requiring teachers to creatively integrate technology-based learning media to enhance student engagement and comprehension. Despite various learning media being available, there remains a gap in utilizing multimedia applications like InShot to create interactive and engaging Arabic learning materials. The results indicate that the interactive media developed with InShot effectively increases students’ interest, motivation, and understanding of Arabic content. Validation tests confirm that the product is highly feasible for classroom use. In conclusion, employing the InShot application as an interactive learning tool enhances both learning effectiveness and student motivation, and its development is recommended as an innovative alternative for digital learning in the modern era

    Dari Tradisi Lisan ke Teks Tertulis: Gagasan Neuwirth Tentang Aspek Oralitas al-Qur'ān

    Recent Qur’ānic scholarship has increasingly revisited the relationship between the oral and written dimensions of revelation. This article examines these dimensions through Angelika Neuwirth’s concept of pre-canonical reading, focusing on Sūrah Al-Ikhlāṣ. Neuwirth approaches the Qur’ān from literary, historical, and comparative perspectives, emphasizing that its oral features—such as rhythm, recitation, and audience interaction—are vital for understanding how the Qur’ān initially communicated its message. She argues that the process of codification transformed these living oral expressions into a fixed text, often separating the Qur’ān from its dynamic historical setting. By re-examining Sūrah Al-Ikhlāṣ within its early socio-historical context, this study shows that its concise monotheistic message still carries traces of orality through its sound patterns, rhetorical balance, and dialogical tone. The analysis highlights Neuwirth’s contribution to Qur’ānic studies by bridging orality and textuality, showing the Qur’ān as both a spoken revelation and a historical document shaped through stages of transmission and canonization.Abstrak. Tulisan ini fokus membahas perbandingan antara konsep oralitas dan skriptualitas Al-Qur’ān dalam konteks pendekatan Pre-kanonikal berbasis Sūrah Makkiyah yang ditawarkan oleh Angelika Neuwirth, serta ilustrasi penerapannya terhadap Sūrah Al-Ikhlas. Untuk menelusuri hal tersebut, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif berdasarkan sumber data dari sejumlah penelitian dan karya yang ditulis oleh Angelika Neuwirth sebagai data primer. Sementara data sekundernya yakni buku, jurnal, dan penelitian yang berkaitan dengan tema yang sama. Adapun analisis atas data penelitian dilakukan dengan kegiatan kondensasi, penyajian, serta kesimpulan atau verifikasi data secara bersamaan. Hasilnya, Angelika Neuwirth melihat bahwa gerakan kodifikasi Al-Qur’ān dalam taraf tertentu telah menghilangkan kedinamisan Al-Qur’ān, sehingga ia hanya menjadi semacam kumpulan teks yang beku. Al-Qur’ān seolah-olah adalah kitab yang “timeless” dan “beyond history” yang diturunkan Tuhan pada sebuah ruang kosong yang hampa, yang tidak memiliki keterkaitan dengan unsur-unsur eksternal sama sekali. Maka, menemukan kembali sisi historisitas al-Qur’ān yang menurutnya saat ini telah mulai terlepas dari akarnya akibat proyek kanonisasi, maka al-Qur’ān harus dibawa kembali kepada masa dan situasi di mana ia untuk pertama kalinya diwahyukan kepada umat Muslim. Hal tersebut hanya bisa dilakukan apabila al-Qur’ān dibawa kembali para era pra-kanonikalnya dengan bantuan pendekatan kritik sejarah

    Abstract. This study aims to determine the role of Da’i personality traits in mapping the level of mental health of orphans based on the perspective of the Qur’an. This study used a qualitative approach involving thirty-four orphans aged 12–18, comprising 55% girls and 45% boys. Data were collected by exploring children’s experiences during the first three years since losing their father. The results showed that the first year is the most difficult time mentally for children, especially related to anxiety, stress, and communication disorders. This condition is influenced by physical, emotional, and social factors, and the absence of the father’s role. In this situation, a Da’i with an empathetic, communicative, and spiritual personality must provide guidance and a sense of security. As mentioned in QS, the Qur’an emphasizes the importance of caring for weak children. An-Nisa: 9. In the second year, the children’s mental condition has not shown significant improvement. Peers become the main emotional support, while a Da’i acts as a spiritual companion who helps children understand the meaning of loss and deal with the pressures of life, especially in the context of underprivileged families. QS. Al-Hujurat: 10 underlines the importance of social support in building solidarity and mental strength. Entering the third year, the child’s mental condition is greatly influenced by the experiences of the previous two years. Children who receive emotional support and spiritual guidance from a Da’i are more stable and mentally strong. This study confirms the importance of Da’i’s personality, such as patience, wisdom, and compassion, in accompanying orphans so that they continue to grow healthily, confidently, and do not lose hope, as in line with the principles of QS. Ar-Ra’d: 11.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran trait personality pada kesehatan mental anak akibat dampak dari peran perempuan sebagai kepala keluarga, karena hal ini dianggap penting sebagai da’i perlu mengetahui kondisi mental anak sebagai objek yang diIslami (mad’u) untuk transformasi perubahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dan metode analisis statistik dalam penelitian analisis jalur dengan menggunakan software Mplus versi 8.0. Penelitian ini melibatkan tiga puluh empat anak dengan mengeksplore pengalamannya di tahun pertama sampai tahun ketiga sebagai anak perempuan kepala rumah tangga. Pesertanya adalah anak berusia antara 12-18 tahun, dengan 55% perempuan dan 45% laki-laki. Di antara peserta, 76,5% adalah pelajar, sedangkan 23,5% tidak sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Tahun pertama adalah tahun terberat mental anak tanpa kehadiran ayah, mereka mengalami kecemasan dan depresi 66%, gangguan komunikasi 20% dan gangguan perkembangan pervasive 12%. Trait kepribadian anak yang menjadi penentu di tahun pertama kondisi mental anak berupa fisik, kognitif, perkembangan sosial, hingga perkembangan emosional pada anak-anak dampak dari perempuan sebagai kepala keluarga. 2) Tahun kedua gangguan mental cenderung tidak menurun, dan hubungan pertemanan menjadi faktor terpenting dalam mempengaruhi emosi mental anak dan mempengaruhi kepuasan batinnya, sehingga melalui peran da’i. sebagai aktor sosial dan kelas sosial juga memengaruhi psikologi dan perkembangan anak. Masalah ini dapat memengaruhi tingkat pendidikan anak, uang yang dimiliki, tempat tinggal yang akhirnya menjadi penentu. 3) Tahun ketiga kesehatan mental anak cenderung menurun tapi tidak signifikan yang merupakan hasil dari 2 tahun sebelumnya. Jika dua tahun sebelumnya cenderung kurang baik, maka mental anak mudah untuk terganggu. Begitupun sebaliknya. Pendekatan psikologi Islam yang dilakukan da’i mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip keagamaan dengan ilmu psikologi sehingga dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dalam membantu anak mengembangkan potensi dirinya meskipun sebagai anak perempuan kepala keluarga. Implikasi penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya peran da’i sebagai mediator dalam mengatasi permasalahan dan menekan emosi negatif sehingga meminimalsiri gannguan mental anak dampak dari perempuan sebagai kepala keluarga. &nbsp

    Mahmud Yunus's Credibility in Hadith Scholarship: A Study of His Contributions and Impact on Contemporary Hadith Literature

    Hadith studies in Indonesia often face methodological and epistemological challenges, particularly regarding the limited availability of local literature that can bridge the gap between classical traditions and modern needs. Amidst this dynamic, Mahmud Yunus emerges as one of the Muslim scholars who made a significant contribution through his works on hadith. This article aims to examine the credibility of Mahmud Yunus in the study of hadith, focusing on his contributions and influence on contemporary hadith literature. This research employs a qualitative approach based on library research, analyzing Yunus’ major works such as Ilmu Musthalah al-Hadith and Akhlak Menurut al-Qur’an dan Hadis Nabi. The findings reveal that Yunus’ credibility is not solely grounded in his mastery of classical methodologies in sanad and matn criticism, but also in the pedagogical and structural dimensions he developed through the Islamic education system. His approach succeeded in presenting hadith in a simple, communicative, and applicable manner for Indonesian society. His works effectively bridged the academic tradition of hadith with the needs of national education, thereby making hadith more accessible to the broader Indonesian public. Furthermore, his influence is evident in the construction of contemporary hadith literature that is more applicable and responsive to the challenges of modern times. This article contributes to the development of hadith epistemology in Indonesia by offering an integrative perspective that connects classical tradition, national education, and contemporary discourse in hadith studies.Tulisan ini mengkaji kredibilitas Mahmud Yunus dalam studi hadis dengan menyoroti karya-karyanya serta kontribusinya dalam membentuk sistem literasi hadis di Indonesia. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka, artikel ini mengevaluasi relevansi metodologis dan pengaruh praktis dari buku-buku Mahmud Yunus, terutama Ilmu Musthalah al-Hadits dan Akhlak Menurut al-Qur’an dan Hadis Nabi. Meskipun Mahmud Yunus tidak dikenal sebagai ahli hadis dalam kerangka kritik sanad dan matan secara akademis, ia berperan signifikan dalam menghadirkan ilmu hadis secara sistematis dan aplikatif ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan nasional. Keberhasilannya terletak pada kemampuannya menjembatani dunia akademik dan kebutuhan pendidikan dasar umat, menjadikan hadis lebih inklusif dan dapat diakses oleh masyarakat luas. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa kredibilitas Mahmud Yunus terletak pada dimensi pedagogis, struktural, dan transformatif yang membuka ruang bagi pengembangan studi hadis di masa kini. Rekomendasi utama adalah integrasi antara pendekatan edukatif Mahmud Yunus dan metode kritik akademik hadis kontemporer untuk memperkuat basis epistemologi studi hadis di Indonesia
