Full text linkPrayer is required to be taught to children as early ac possible to form a more religious character. In Palembang, there are still few children who apply prayers in their daily lives, due to many factors. On of them is parents being busy with their work, then the kindergarten / TPA (Islamic school), and the lack of new and interesting learning media. The purpose of this design is to make children aware and encourage them to apply prayers in their daily lives and to create an engaging learning method. This design uses the design thingking method, which includes empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing. Thee selected media include ( main media) a board game and an illustrated book, (pre media) x-banners, posters, digital posters, catalogs, and (follow-up media) beg tags, backpacks, pencils, erasers, rulers, pencil cases, quran pointers, long-sleeved t-shirts, tumblers, pins, sticker packs, and notebooks. It is hopen that this selection of media can serve as a tool to facilitate the teaching of daily Islamic prayers to children
Strategi Pemerintah dalam Pengembangan Wisata Napal Manjur sebagai Upaya Meningkatkan Pendapatan Masyarakat (Studi Desa Terusan Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara)
Full text linkPenelitian ini mengkaji strategi pemerintah desa dalam meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat melalui pengembangan Wisata Napal Manjur di Desa Terusan, Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara. Wisata ini memiliki potensi alam yang menarik, seperti kebun jeruk yang rimbun dan air yang sejuk, namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta analisis data dengan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan yang dilakukan meliputi penyediaan sarana prasarana seperti perbaikan jalan, pembangunan spot foto, toilet, tempat berjualan, lahan parkir, serta promosi melalui media sosial dan undangan kepada dinas terkait. Diharapkan, upaya ini dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat Desa Terusan

Full text linkThe teacher's work desk is an important element in the learning environment which functions as a place to work and interact with students. However, often the tables used do not pay attention to aspects of use, ergonomics and aesthetics. In designing work desks, vocational school teachers use design studies, namely the Design Thinking method. Not only aspects of use and ergonomics, the author also pays attention to aesthetics, namely by adding elements of Jepara Geometric Ornaments as a cultural aesthetic value aimed at combining traditional beauty with practical functions in an educational environment. Jepara's geometric ornaments, such as the Kawung motif, have deep historical roots and are often used in traditional wood carvings. This motif symbolizes balance and harmony, which is in accordance with educational values. Its application in the design of the teacher's work desk not only adds aesthetic value, but also connects the learning space with local cultural heritage. It is hoped that the design of the teacher's work desk with elements of Jepara geometric ornaments as a cultural aesthetic value can create a learning environment that is different from others, more beautiful, comfortable, and pays attention to cultural values and preserves local cultures

Full text linkThis study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the OpenDyslexic font in helping children aged 7-8 years learn to read. The experimental method involved two groups of students; one group used reading materials in the OpenDyslexic font, and the other group used the standard font. Data were collected through reading tests that measured speed and comprehension before and after the intervention. This design uses the Design Thinking method with data collection techniques, namely interviews and literature study. Results showed that children with reading difficulties who used the OpenDyslexic font experienced significant improvements in reading speed and comprehension compared to the control group. The OpenDyslexic font, with letter shapes specifically designed to facilitate reading by normal children and children who have difficulty reading, helps children recognize letters and words more easily. In conclusion, the use of the OpenDyslexic font is effective in helping children learn to read and can be used as an alternative in teaching materials to improve early childhood literacy. It is hoped that this research will be able to provide solutions for children who have obstacles in learning to read, besides that it can be used as a relevant reference source

These leaves contain lots of protein, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants which are important for optimal growth and development. The main benefits of moringa leaves include improving the immune system, reducing the risk of nutritional deficiencies, and support for digestive health. The main problem is that many people are not aware of the potential health benefits of Moringa leaves, which results in low consumption and utilization of this plant. The problem solving plan carried out is with the right communication approach. The benefits of Moringa leaves are very important. One effective strategy is through board games. The main aim is to provide education to parents who have an important role in integrating Moringa leaves into their daily diet as well as educating children about the importance of good nutrition. Through this board game, people can learn about the benefits of Moringa leaves directly, from their nutritional content to how to use them in everyday life
Komunikasi Visual Destination Branding Kecamatan Lasem Kabupaten Rembang Sebagai Cagar Budaya
Full text linkLasem is not yet fully recognized as having an image as a national cultural heritage asset, even though it has a legacy of rich history and culture. Many people, especially the younger generation, do not know or are interested in preserving the importance of the Lasem cultural heritage. Designing destination branding through a visual communication design approach is a concept proposed as an action to raise public appreciation and level of awareness of the existence of the Lasem cultural heritage. This research uses the design thinking design method with the process stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test. At the ideate stage, information is obtained through the results of Charles S Pierce's semiotic analysis. The results of designing destination branding using a visual communication design approach are in the form of a brand guideline book entitled Kesengsem Lasem, containing the visual identity of the Lasem cultural heritage. Through this design, it is hoped that it will be able to increase awareness and appreciation of the younger generation towards the existence of cultural heritage in Lasem

Full text linkThe skin is the largest organ of the human body and has an important role to protect the internal organs of the human body from direct external interference such as sunlight and scratches from sharp or blunt objects. Without skin, our bodies will not be formed perfectly. Just like other organs of the body, if the skin is not properly cared for, it will cause skin diseases, although skin diseases are not too dangerous in human life, skin diseases can make humans feel uncomfortable. This skin disease has many types that are almost the same, therefore an expert system is needed to find out what type of skin disease we are likely to experience. This application is made web-based. The method used by this expert system is the Forward Chaining method, in this expert system it will show several questions or symptoms experienced, then after the user answers the available questions, the diagnosis results will appear. Based on the design of the creation and implementation of an expert system to diagnose skin diseases using the forward chaining algorithm, it can be concluded that the expert system for diagnosing skin diseases using the forward chaining algorithm can help in diagnosing skin diseases suffered or experienced by someone, this expert system for diagnosing skin diseases is very useful for many people to find out what type of skin disease they are suffering from considering the many types of skin diseases whose symptoms are almost similar, this expert system is very dependent on the ability of experts (doctors) who are the source of knowledge in research on this skin disease, and the expert system designed is web-based, making it easier for users to diagnose their diseases anywhere and anytime
ANALISIS KESIAPAN TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL PADA KELURAHAN PALEMBANG
Full text linkDigital transformation is an important process to improve the efficiency and quality of services, including within the scope of village government. This study aims to analyze the extent to which Palembang Village is ready to face digital transformation by assessing factors such as environment, strategy, organization, human resources, service offerings, and technology and innovation. The methodology used is quantitative through surveys, questionnaires, and linear regression analysis. The findings of this study indicate that organization and human resources are the most significant factors influencing digitalization readiness. Validity and reliability testing show a high level of consistency in the research measuring instruments used. This study recommends increasing training for the workforce, strengthening technology infrastructure, and integrating digital systems to accelerate the digital transformation process. With the implementation of a planned digital transformation, it is hoped that there will be an increase in operational efficiency and public satisfaction with village services
Simbolisme Dan Keindahan Dalam Kesenian Reog Ponorogo: Sebuah Kajian Multidisiplin
Full text linkCulture is a manifestation of thoughts, customs, and intellect that develop in society. One of the traditional dance arts of Indonesia with strong cultural roots is Reog Ponorogo. The Reog Ponorogo art is a cultural heritage that possesses deep historical and philosophical values. The purpose of this research is to examine the symbolism and beauty of Reog Ponorogo art through a multidisciplinary study. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a multidisciplinary approach. Multidisciplinarity is an approach in studying the phenomenon of Reog Ponorogo analyzed from the perspectives of anthropology, art, and semiotics related to the symbolism and beauty in that art. The data collection method uses observation sheets and interviews with the tourism office, Reog art activists, and Reog artists. Data analysis is carried out deductively, based on valid theoretical foundations, followed by a description of the data, and concluded with drawing conclusions. The research results show that in Reog Ponorogo art there are symbolism and beauty manifested in the form of movement, costumes, music, and storylines that have been preserved through generations. Every element contained in the Reog Ponorogo performance is very meaningful and becomes a hallmark of a culture that can be integrated into a multidisciplinary study from the perspectives of anthropology, art, and semiotics. The implications of this research impact the preservation of local culture that must be maintained and passed on to future generations

Full text linkThread embroidery is one of the techniques for decorating fabrics using gold thread with motifs adapted to the local area, such as in Kampung Sunan Palembang. The art of embroidery crafts in Kampung Sunan Palembang shows that this embroidery is not just a textile artwork, but a cultural heritage rich in meaning and function. Embroidered decorative products function as decoration, one of which is on traditional wedding clothes, household furniture decorations, and wall decorations. The purpose of the study is to describe the variety of embroidery motif decorations, meaning values, and aesthetic functions in the results of Kampung Sunan embroidery products. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study found a variety of embroidery motifs, namely tendrils, boards, slanted fans, straight fans, nutmeg seeds, centipede nails, five-finger boards, flowers, and birds, meaningful values that describe social relations reflecting local identity, markers of customs as status symbols, media for inheriting women's values, and tools for uniting communities through collective practices and hereditary traditions. The function is a relationship between the work and the use of objects that are designed effectively, by criteria set based on their usefulness and efficiency, both in terms of appearance and market needs and as a creative result that can be used practically in everyday life. This research is expected to be able to provide a significant contribution in understanding the various functions and meanings of aesthetic values in embroidered cloth products in Kampung Sulaman Angkinan Palembang, and become a reference for further studies related to traditional crafts in Indonesia, especially craft arts in South Sumatra
