The Effect of Working Capital Turnover on the Performance of Coal Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2022

Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of working capital turnover on the company's financial performance. In addition, to find out the elements included in working capital, namely cash turnover, receivables turnover, and inventory turnover to the company's financial performance.
Design/Methods/Approach: The research method is quantitative descriptive. The population of this study is 27 coal companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2022 period. The sample of this study uses a sampling technique using the purposive sampling method and the number of samples obtained were as many as 16 companies. Data analysis techniques using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) program.
Findings: Working capital turnover and inventory turnover have a significant effect on financial performance. However, cash turnover and receivables turnover did not have a significant effect on financial performance.
Originality/Value: This study contains a complete list of publications on working capital turnover and their classification according to various attributes. This research study will be useful for researchers, finance professionals and others who examine the importance of working capital turnover and the conceptualization of corporate finance as a whole. The author intends to develop a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method in detail on the topic of the relationship between working capital turnover and financial performance, along with elements that include previous working capital turnover published in academic journals.
Practical/Policy implication: The sample of this study is only on coal companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2020-2022. Further research can test samples of companies in other manufacturing fields, such as State-Owned Enterprise (SOEs). Further research is suggested to add a longer period of research years. For companies, they can further optimize cash and receivables turnover so that they can be managed more effectively and efficiently to improve financial performance.

Reinventing Local Community Wisdom through Educulturalism Methods as an Effort to Increase the Existence of Indonesian Economic Development
Get PDFIndonesia, which consists of ± 429 ethnic groups in the archipelago, has diverse local wisdom. Economic globalization is an inevitable reality in the world economic map in the 21st century. The problems in Indonesia related to economic globalization are the large amount of competition between modern markets as well as unemployment and poverty which ultimately cause inequality both in terms of social and economic growth. Territorial boundaries are no longer an obstacle to interacting with fellow humans. In addition, economic globalization will have a relationship that affects each other between various countries. The purpose of this study is to find out the role of local wisdom through the method of educulturalism in economic development, by analyzing and designing a model based on related literature studies. Several studies that have been carried out focus on economic development by prioritizing local wisdom in the local area. By using a qualitative method of descriptive approach based on reviews, theories and literature studies, it can be concluded that there are at least three types of local wisdom that are able to be a counterweight to global economic competition in an effort to carry out economic development. First, maintaining and utilizing the preservation of natural resources. Second, to function a creative economy based on local wisdom. Third, running a small business based on local wisdom. Thus, local wisdom is required to be a determining element for the success of community and natural resource development in realizing equitable economic development.

Membaca Kritik Seni dalam Film ‘Like and Share’ Tahun 2022: Realitas Sosial dalam Industri Kapitalis
Get PDFThe current issue in capitalist societies is the social decisions that often lead to gender imbalance perspective towards women, viewing them as objects or enjoyment for those who hold such equal perspective. Film is one of the reliable mediums for artistic critique that can convey this discourse to today’s younger generation. Therefore, this research analyses the film “Like and Share” (2022) as a representation of artistic critique of the social reality in capitalist society. This film portrays various aspects of social reality due to the gender inequality perspective in capitalist society, such as patriarchal culture, gender stereotypes, women’s exploration, rape culture, and the influence of religion in daily life. The research method used is qualitative with descriptive analysis of scenes and dialogues in the film. The result shows that this film successfully reflects the social reality of capitalist society and the influence of capitalism in the film industry. Thus, this film is effective as a medium of artistic critique of the social reality of capitalist society in the context of the Indonesian film industry.

Perancangan Komunikasi Visual Pengenalan Tari Pegi Mantang Kabupaten Banyuasin
Get PDFBanyuasin Regency has a valuable cultural heritage in the form of the pegi mantang dance, but the younger generation lacks knowledge and interest in learning about local arts. This design aims to design a visual communication medium for introducing the pegi mantang dance to the younger generation in Banyuasin Regency. The design method used is design thinking which includes empathy, define, ideate, prototype, test. The results of this design are divided into three, including the main media in the form of cinematic videos, supporting media in the form of books, tote bag tumblers, T-Shirts, acrylic LED lights, bag hangers, and premedia in the form of posters. It is hoped that the media introducing pegi mantang dance will contribute to introducing traditional arts and overcoming the lack of awareness of the younger generation. Through an innovative visual communication approach, the younger generation can better understand, appreciate and be involved in preserving local culture.

The Application of Tableau in Teaching Narrative Reading to the 10th Grade Students of SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang
Get PDFThe objectives of this study were to find out (1) wether or not there was any difference in 10th grade students of SMA Srijaya Negara reading comprehension after they are taught by applying tableau and (2) there was any significant difference in reading comprehension achievement between the 10th grade students of SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang who are taught by using Tableau in learning narrative text and those who are not. This study used 66 students of the tenth grade students of SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang as the sample which was divided into two group, experimental and control group. Students in experimental group were given the treatment through tableau in learning narrative text. This study used one of quasi-experimental design that were pretest and posttest non equivalent control group design. The result of reading comprehension test was analyzed by using SPSS 21.0 program. The result indicated that there were any significant differences at level 0.05 found in the data which were analyzed by using paired sample t-test (t=6.670 > t-table=1.694). The result also showed that the application of tableau in teaching narrative reading could improve students’ reading comprehending of 10th grade students of SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang.

Students’ Perception towards TikTok in Enhancing Their Vocabulary Fluency through Autonomous Learning
Get PDFUtilizing social media has been part of most people’s daily lives, especially Generation Z. Social media offers various functions, e.g., socialization, learning, and entertainment. TikTok provides several strategies to improve students’ learning experience regarding English language learning. Those features in social media create a highly motivating environment for students, so it is important to find out how TikTok helps students improve their vocabulary fluency. This study aims to examine students’ perceptions of using TikTok to improve vocabulary fluency through autonomous learning methods and to identify how TikTok, as social media, facilitates EFL students in improving their vocabulary knowledge. The research method for this study is a qualitative approach with a questionnaire and interview. Fifty-six participants were involved in the research, and five attended the focus group discussion. The findings showed that participants believe TikTok is a comfortable tool for vocabulary learning, improving their vocabulary knowledge and vocabulary fluency. From the interview, the participants identified some strategies for learning vocabulary, such as accessing the materials frequently, saving the videos, and utilizing the vocabulary items they learned through TikTok.

Get PDFThis research aims to identify the obstacles and challenges faced by class I and IV students in following the Independent Learning Curriculum at SDN 064976 Tembung, as well as finding effective strategies to improve their abilities. The research results show challenges related to limited teacher understanding, limited resources, and students' difficulty adapting. Recommended strategies include increasing teacher understanding, developing resources, and intensive mentoring for students. This research provides insight into the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in elementary schools and can be used as a basis for optimizing its implementation.. 
TEACHERS' PERCEPTIONS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF INTRODUCING ENGLISH AT AN EARLY AGE
Get PDFThis research emphasizes the importance of teaching English in early childhood to support cognitive and social development. English as an international language is essential in global communication, so its mastery is an urgent need for modern society, including Indonesia. Mastery of English is necessary for a child to look at life in the future. This research wants to know a teacher's perception towards his students to learn English as early as possible. With a qualitative approach and data collection from documentation accompanied by questionnaires, the results show that, according to the teachers, challenges such as lack of teacher training and low motivation in students can be overcome with school support and interactive teaching methods. In addition, the early introduction of English improves children's language skills and prepares them for further education and an increasingly connected world. Therefore, schools and educators need to improve competencies through continuous training, providing adequate resources, and developing exciting and relevant teaching strategies
Effect of Perceived Price, Muslim Service Quality and Halal Certification on Purchase Decision Gacoan Noodles Through Application : Shopee Users Shopeefood Feature

Objective: This research aims to find out how much influence Perceived Price, Muslim Service Quality and Halal Certification have on Gacoan Noodles Product Purchasing Decisions through the Shopee Food App Customer Case Study Application.
Design/Methods/Approach: The sampling in this study used purposive samplings with respondents of 302 people who were resident in various regions of Indonesia and had purchased Gacoan Noodles through a shopee app. In this study, perceived price, Muslim service quality and halal certification as free variables or independent variables while purchasing decisions as bound or dependent variables. The type of research used in this research is a quantitative method. Data analysis using SPSS software 23. Data analysis techniques in this study use data quality testing methods, classical assumption testing and regression testing.
Findings: The results of this study show that partially variable perceived price and Muslim service quality have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. As for the halal variable, certification has no positive and significant influence on the purchase decision.
Originality/Value: This study builds upon previous research that discusses the effect of variables that can make customer decision to buy, by adding buy with application delivery food.
Practical/Policy implication: This research is expected to provide input for company to maximize factor-factor costumer decision buying product by right strategy.
