MODERN DIDACTIC-METHODICAL DESIGNED TEACHING MATERIALS IN MACEDONIAN LANGUAGE TEACHING
The purpose of this paper is aimed at examining the educational needs and didactic competences of teachers for the preparation and use of didactic-methodical teaching materials in the teaching of the subject Macedonian language for the program areas Initial reading and writing and Language (first, second and third grade), and all with the aim of improving the teaching of the Macedonian language.
For the successful realization of the goals/standards for evaluation needed in the program areas Initial reading and writing and Language from the first to the third grade, it is necessary to prepare, apply and classify the teaching materials that will serve as a kind of teaching support for the teachers, but also for the students , which will help them in learning the Cyrillic and Latin letters, writing and reading with them, language and spelling rules, as well as the application of spelling signs.
In teaching practice, there is a need for didactic-methodical design of teaching materials within the program areas Initial reading and writing and Language, respecting modern methodical, methodological and dokimological principles. For that reason, the examination of the attitudes and educational needs of teachers, as immediate implementers of teaching, is the methodological justification for their inclusion as a special research subsample
Muslim welfare organizations in Germany – Between participation, professionalization, and empowerment
Since the growth of the Muslim population in Germany, the demands for a Muslim welfare organization are getting louder. For this reason, the German Islam Conference started some projects to develop Muslim interests in welfare organizations. The landscape of the German social welfare system is dominated by six umbrella organizations. Three of these are faith-based organizations. A Muslim organization is still missing, despite some empowerment projects. There are attempts of different Muslim communities to build social services which meet the needs of spiritual and cultural sensitiveness of Muslim people and allow them to participate in the existing system. The paper is analysing perspectives of experts on a possible concept for a Muslim welfare organization. The aim is to show a possible way of organizing and implementing a national organization. The issue is discussed in expert interviews and an additional group method of a world café. The major results can improve the ongoing efforts for a culturally sensitive welfare organization. One of the key topics is the professionalization of the existing social services in mosques and other community centers. They must meet the requirements of social work to get tax exemptions and to receive government funds. Another point is to separate religious and social services in the community centers. The heterogeneity in the Muslim population must be respected and integrated in a new form of welfare organizations, which can be different from the existing faith-based welfare organizations. Another point is to implement these tasks in borough, county, and national levels
WOMEN AS PERPETRATORS OF CRIMINAL OFFENSES AND THEIR TREATMENT IN INSTITUTIONS FOR THE EXECUTION OF CRIMINAL SANCTIONS
The scientific paper explores women as perpetrators of criminal acts andtheir penal treatment, providing insights into the specifics and challenges they faceduring incarceration. Traditionally, prisons were primarily oriented towards men, buttoday there are specific prison units and facilities exclusively for female inmates. In the introduction, we address the history and development of the prison system forwomen, including the creation of specialized units and a gender-sensitive approachto imprisonment. The second part investigates the specifics of women’s incarceration, including healthcare needs, education, vocational training, challenges of motherhoodand childcare in prison, as well as psychological aspects of women’s imprisonment. The third part examines the issues and challenges women encounter during incarceration, such as prison system overcrowding, gender discrimination, and violence againstwomen in prison. Additionally, we explore the application of alternative punishmentmeasures for women, including home confinement, rehabilitation and reintegrationprograms, and harm reduction measures for women with special needs
ΕΠΙΣΤΌΛΙΑ ΠΑΡΑΚΛΗΤΙΚΑ AND THE “LIBERATION” OF ATHENS
The paper centres on the historical background in which Athens was “liberated” in c. 255. The first part explores the tenability of the assumption that the “petitions” mentioned by Diogenes Laertios in his biography of Arkesilaos should indeed be placed in the context of the “liberation” of Athens. The analysis of the chapter, as well as the particular phrase, points towards a rather different conclusion – that we are dealing with private petitions, and therefore the information should not be associated with the “liberation” of Athens; consequently, that there is no correlation with the question for the date of the battle of Kos. The second part focuses on the causes for Antigonos’ decision to “liberate” Athens; i.e., the conjecture that this decision stemmed from the victory at Kos. The analysis of the sources shows that even though the conjecture cannot be ruled out, it cannot be proven either. Lastly, an alternative context for the “liberation” of Athens is offered
FACTORS OF PEER VIOLENCE IN SCHOOLS AND PREVENTION PROGRAMS
The problem of violence in schools causes considerable concern in many countries of the world and in our country as well because of the enormous psychological and physical consequences it brings to children and young people. In literature, research can be found even forty years ago, when this phenomenon was defined as aggressive, deliberate, and persistent action carried out by a group or individual against a victim who cannot be easily defended. More recently, violence is not only considered to be physical, but also violence can also be experiences through social networks, which gives us an additional incentive for its further study, all in order to stand in the way of violence and reduce it as much as possible. This paper studies the theoretical and empirical knowledge about some significant factors that contribute to the occurrence of peer violence, such as: family, school environment and personality characteristics of the bully and the victim. At the end, an overview of effective violence prevention programs from different countries in the world is given
THE IMPORTANCE OF MEN’S HEALTH CARE
It is evident, backed by research that men tend to avoid medical examinations much more frequently than women. Statistics show that women are more likely to visit medical professionals for preventive measures, health consultations, and examinations, with a probability of over 95%. Surprisingly, despite women having a significantly higher life expectancy, men need to recognize the importance of preventive health examinations. Timely consultations with healthcare providers can effectively prevent various diseases, including those with fatal consequences. Fortunately, many of these conditions can be prevented and treated. To achieve this, it is crucial to launch more proactive campaigns aimed at raising awareness among men on these critical topics.
This paper analyses the status of men’s health and provides available data. Additionally, through a quantitative research study, it aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the situation in the Republic of North Macedonia.
The goal is to emphasize the significance of men’s health care, encourage regular medical check-ups, and promote a proactive approach to preventive measures. By doing so, we can ensure better health outcomes for men and contribute to a healthier society overall
EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT ROOTSTOCKS ON YIELD OF GRAFTED PEPPER (Capsicum annuum L.) IN GREENHOUSE CONDITIONS
A field study was carried out in the region of Shtime, the central part of Kosovo, in 2021 to investigate the rootstock effect on the number of fruits per plant, fruit mass per plant, and the obtained yield of grafted pepper in greenhouse conditions. For that purpose, the following cultivars were used as scions, ”Vedrana‟, ”Kaptur‟, ”Ariadni” and ”Gelby‟, while ”SM Tant‟, ”Vital Paprika‟ and ”6210‟ as rootstocks. Non-grafted cultivars of ”Vedrana‟, ”Ariadni‟, ”Kaptur‟ and ”Gelby‟ were used as control treatments. The trial was designed in a randomized block system with four replications or 64 experimental plots in total. Each experimental plot contained 20 plants. The plants were transplanted in a plant density of 0.60m x 0.40m x 1.0m, or 4 plants/m2. In addition, regular cultural practices were applied regarding irrigation, fertilization, and plant protection. According to the obtained results, differences were observed in terms of the average number of fruits per plant, average fruit mass(g), and the total yield (kg ha-1), depending on the rootstock-scion combination and the different ripening stages. The largest number of fruits per plant was observed in the grafted combination ”Ariadni/Sm Tant‟ (15.41) and in the ”Gelby/Sm Tant‟ combination (14.31), while the lowest number of fruits was recorded in the plants from the cultivar ”Vedrana‟ non-grafted (8.33) and the combination” Kaptur/6210‟ (7.99). The highest fruit mass was observed with the combination ”Vedrana/Sm Tant‟, while the highest total yield was observed in the combination ”Ariadni/Sm Tant‟, followed by ”Vedrana/Sm Tant‟. The lowest yield was recorded in the combination ”Kaptur/Sm Tant‟ and the combination ”Kaptur/6210‟
THE POST-WAR RE-EDUCATION OF THE GERMANS – AMERICAN AND BRITISH REFLECTIONS
The military actions, the loss of human lives and especially the cruelty of the Nazi and Fascist regimes and armies caused a reaction among the allied governments, the public and intellectuals. The Nazi regime in Germany and its actions, in general, even before the beginning of WWII caused an initially mild and later a sharp reaction and criticism in the democratic world. However, the behaviour and fanaticism of the German armed forces and their atrocities during the war could not but cause reflections about how the allied countries, especially the larger ones, should deal with the defeated Germany. The experience of WWI had shown that German Nazism had, as its basis, the militarism which was present everywhere, including in the educational process. That is why many in the United States and Great Britain began to think aloud about a complete change of the German educational system and the re-education of the Germans after the military victory. There was a great dilemma over the questions of how to carry out that re-education, whether to include only the younger population that was exposed to Nazi indoctrination, and whether Germans who were opponents of Nazism should be included in that process. The debates were conducted among politicians, in the public, among scholars and scientists. The view that gradually prevailed was that the issue was complex and that some Germans should be involved in the re-education process after the War
