ФЕМИНИЗМОТ КАКО ИДЕОЛОГИЈА НИЗ ПРАКСАТА НА ЖЕНСКОТО ДВИЖЕЊЕ: МАКЕДОНСКИ КОНТЕКСТ
Get PDFThis study primarily focuses on feminism and the women’s movement and howthey manifest in Macedonian society. The feminist ideology reflects various forms ofactivism, with the common goal of overcoming the subordinate status of women in societyand achieving equality between men and women. Hence, this study explores thefollowing questions: does feminist activism in Macedonian society contribute to the advancementof women’s rights, and can every women’s movement be situated within theframework of feminist theory? Consequently, through the analysis of specific activities,actions, and movements in public discourse, the relationships of the women’s movementwith feminism will be explored, with an emphasis on their identification with the feministmovement. At the same time, this study will address questions of gender as a centralanalytical category in feminist discourse, as well as the discrepancy between equalityas a universal value, on the one hand, and entrenched patterns of domination regardinggender and sexual orientation, on the other hand.Овој труд првенствено се фокусира на феминизмот и на женското дви-жење и како тие се профилираат во македонското општество. Феминистич-ката идеологија рефлектира разни форми на активизам, чија заедничка цел е дасе надмине потчинетиот статус на жените во општеството и да се постиг-не рамноправност помеѓу мажите и жените. Оттука, во овој труд се иследу-ваат следните прашања, дали феминистичкиот активизам во македонскотоопштество придонесува за унапредувањето на правата на жените, и дали секоеженско движење може да биде ситуирано во рамките на феминистичката те-орија? Следствено на тоа, преку анализа на конкретни активности, акции идвижења во јавниот дискурс, ќе се истражи какви се релациите на женскотодвижење со феминизмот, со акцент врз нивната идентификација со феминис-тичкото движење. Get PDFThe paper analyses the positions of Numenius on the status of the two, or ratherthe three gods, in his ontological system. In relation to his doctrine of the three gods,the problem of his theoretical inclination towards the East, especially Judaism, is brieflymentioned. The main points from the ontological background of the positioning and thecharacteristics are offered – the opposition between God and Matter, the assumed hierarchizationof the divinity according to the various functions, and the status of the demiurgicprinciple. Hence, the relation between the First God and the Second God, andthe possible division of the First, or, much more likely, the Second God into two godsare shown through the suitable examples from the extant fragments of Numenius’works.The distinction between the First God, simple, solitudinous and focused only onhimself, and God who is divided into a Second and Third God, that is, the cosmos as aproduct of the Second God, is displayed. The ideas on the division of God by Matter arebriefly expressed, as well as the ideas about the equivalence between the Supreme(First) God with the Good, and the way the Demiurge receives goodness. The claims accordingto which the First God, the principle of existence, governs the (sphere of the)being, and the Second God – the realm of becoming are listed. The reasons for the complexityof the theological concept of Numenius are glanced at, as well as the ways inwhich the confusion could be overcome.односно трите бога, во неговиот онтолошки систем. Во релација со изворнотоучење за трите бога накратко е споменат проблемот на неговата теориска ин-клинација кон Истокот, особено кон јудаизмот. Наведени се главните поентиод онтолошката заднина на поставувањето и карактеристиките на боговите– со поставувањето на Бог и Материјата, претпоставената хиерархизација набожественото според функциите, и статусот на демиургискиот принцип. За-тоа, односот меѓу Првиот Бог и Вториот Бог, и можната поделеност на Пр-виот, или, поверојатно, Вториот Бог во два бога се разгледани низ соодветнитепримери од сочуваните фрагменти од делата на Нумениј.Покажана е дистинкцијата меѓу Првиот Бог, едноставен, самотен и фо-кусиран на себеси, и Бог кој е поделен на Втор и Трет Бог, односно космосот ка-ко производ на Вториот Бог. Идеите за поделеноста на Бог од страна на Мате-ријата се накратко изложени, како и идеите за еквиваленцијата на Врховниот(Првиот) Бог со Доброто, и примањето на добрината од страна на Демиургот.Разгледани се тврдењата според кои може да се смета дека Првиот Бог,принципот на постоењето, владее со (сферата на) битието, а Вториот Бог,пак, со подрачјето на настанувањето. CONTEMPORARY MIGRATIONS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF HUMAN SECURITY PARADIGM
Get PDFThe paper considers migrations from the perspective of human security paradigm, with special focus on the Post World War II period. Even though the initial activities in establishing the concept of human security have been taken in mid-40s of the last century under the umbrella of United Nations, its affirmation in scientific and political circles is reached only in the aftermath of the Cold War era, when significant steps forward were madeto extend the security agenda to non-military threats and other referent objects of security, outside the previously dominant state-centric approach. This is a concept that embodies the idea of multidimensional approach to security, which places human being and his daily exposure to different threats and disturbances that represent an existential threat in the center of scientific observations, making it indispensable in considering the contemporary migratory movements, especially multiple factors that affect them. A special focus of the paper is on determining the migration-related problems through the prism of two fundamental components of human security – freedom from fear (freedom from violence, oppression and persecution) and freedom from want (freedom from poverty, penury and misery), the insufficiency of which is accounted in certain parts of the world as a significant factor in making the decision to emigrate from country of origin. 
THE EUROPEAN INTEGRATION OF THE WESTERN BALKANS AND THE RULE OF LAW (CURRENT SITUATION AND CHALLENGES)
Get PDFThe further enlargement of the European Union is in a critical phase due to the changed politicalcircumstances both internally in the EU member states, but also in the geopolitical context. Theexperiences from the past cycles of enlargement, both positive and negative, motivated someof the member states and the European institutions to revise the process of the Europeanintegration of the candidate countries, primarily the accession negotiations as a central part ofthe process, by setting the Rule of Law as a fundamental and most important criterion for theaccession. The Rule of Law is set as a crosscutting issue in the new revised Methodology forthe accession negotiations, adopted in 2020. It is part of the first cluster “Fundamentals” withwhich the accession negotiations start and end. The paper analyzes the current situation andchallenges in the area of the Rule of Law in North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and Albania,all of them candidate countries from the region of the Western Balkans, following the 2024Rule-of-Law Report prepared by the European Commission that included beside the memberstates, also the mentioned candidate countries

It provides an overview of the background and the origin of the award, sparked by the passing of Dragi Mihajlovski in 2022. Furthermore, it details the selection and awarding process for the first annual “Dragi” Award in 2023, as well as the official ceremony held at the Blazhe Koneski Faculty of Philology in Skopje.
