Development of Educational Material for Teaching Composition in Light of The Contextual Approach
Get PDFThis research started from the need of the Muhammadiyah Al-Munawarah Institute for teaching some Arabic language lessons, including teaching composition. Teaching composition in it used various materials so that the educational production did not achieve the desired educational goal. This research aims to: 1) Reveal the process of developing the educational material for teaching composition in light of the contextual approach at the Muhammadiyah Al-Munawarah Institute in Malang. 2) Know the validity of the educational material for teaching composition developed in light of the contextual approach at the Muhammadiyah Al-Munawarah Institute in Malang. 3) Measure the effectiveness of using the educational material for teaching composition developed in light of the contextual approach at the Muhammadiyah Al-Munawarah Institute in Malang. This research is a qualitative and quantitative research using the research and development method. The results of the research are: 1) The educational material was developed in light of the contextual approach that benefits from the development steps of Borg and Gall, which consist of needs and problems analysis, data collection, production design, production validation, first production experiment, production modification, second production experiment, second/final modification. The developed product is in the form of a book, consisting of the introductory pages (cover, introduction, material content, material usage guide), the main pages (vocabulary, text and exercises), and the last page (author's biography), 2) The validity of the developed product according to experts is very good, 3) The developed composition teaching material is effective for students at the Institute of Muhadiyat al-Munawarah Malang, as the value of t-calculation = 9.2 and was greater than the theoretical t-value of 2.145.This research started from the need of the Muhammadiyah Al-Munawarah Institute for teaching some Arabic language lessons, including teaching composition. Improving Pronunciation Skills through English Songs for Junior High School Students
Get PDFThis study entitled “Improving Students’ Speaking Skills Through English Songs For The Eight Grade Students Of Smp Negeri Oenenu In The School Year 2023/2024.” The purpose of this study are: 1) To know how english songs improve speaking skills of SMP Negeri Oenenu. 2) To know the problems faced by the students in using english songs to improve their speaking skills by conducting Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this research is eighth grade students at SMP Negeri Oenenu which consisted of 25 students and was conducted in two cycles. The instrument of collecting data was oral test, observation, and interview. Based on data analysis, the score of students’ oral Test improved in every test. In the result of students’ tests were showed that the mean score of pre-tests was 64,2. The mean score of the test in cycle I was 72. The mean score of the tests in Cycle II was 79. Based on observation sheet, it was found that teaching learning process ran well. After giving the treatment by listening to English songs, the students’ English Pronunciation in pronouncing English words improved. It was concluded that listening to English songs can improve the students’ English Pronunciation
Empowering Students Through Religious Values: Enhancing Life Skills and Leadership in Educational Management
Get PDFThis study aims to explore the impact of religious culture on the development of students' life skills in schools. Using a qualitative case study research design, this study explores how the integration of religious values in the educational environment can influence the formation of students' character, social, emotional, leadership, and resilience skills. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with principals, teachers, extracurricular supervisors, and students, as well as direct observation of activities at school. The findings of the study indicate that the application of religious values has implications for the development of students' life skills, emphasizing moral, ethical, and emotional management aspects in everyday life. The integration of religious values in formal and extracurricular learning helps students build leadership skills based on collaboration and increases their resilience in facing academic and social challenges. Practically, the results of this study imply the need for schools to continue to strengthen the integration of religious values in every educational activity in order to prepare students to face increasingly complex life challenges. This study contributes to the development of character-based educational management theory, as well as providing insight for educational practitioners in designing learning environments that support students' holistic development
Gambaran Psychological Distress pada Orang Tua Anak yang Hospitalisasi
Get PDFPsychological distress merupakan kondisi emosional seseorang yang muncul ketika mereka berhadapan dengan situasi yang dianggap mengancam atau berbahaya. Kondisi ini ditandai dengan perasaan depresi dan kecemasan yang intens. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif sederhana dengan jumlah sampel berjumlah 95 orang yang merupakan orang tua anak yang dirawat, sampel penelitian ini diambil berdasarkan kriteria inklusi yaitu responden minimal berusia 18 tahun dan memiliki anak dengan penyakit kronis menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis yang digunakan analisa deskriptif statistik dengan hasil distribusi frekuensi, mean dan SD. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan psychological distress responden adalah dalam tahap sedang dengan jumlah 36 responden. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa psychological distress yang dialami oleh orang tua anak yang hospitalisasi ialah di tahap sedang. Rumah sakit dapat meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan di ruang rawat terutama pada orang tua pasien anak yang hospitalisasi dan lebih memberikan kenyamanan kepada mereka
Optimalisasi Kualitas Air pada Tambak Udang Vannamei Menggunakan Modul IoT
Get PDFIndonesian has great potential in the fisheries sector, with vaname shrimp as a leading commodity due to its competitive price and efficient cultivation. However, many shrimp farmers in Keputih Village, Surabaya City still lack an understanding of the importance of monitoring and managing pond water quality. In response to this, the Master of Applied Electrical Engineering and Master of Applied Informatics and Computer Engineering teams at Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya (PENS) introduced an IoT-based Water Quality Meter module. This program not only provides real-time water quality monitoring technology that can be accessed via smartphone or laptop, but also provides training and assistance to pond farmers in adopting this technology. Evaluation results show that pond farmers can operate the module well to monitor water quality parameters, making it easier to monitor ponds accurately and practically. The community service program is expected to increase yields, strengthen collaboration between academics and communities, and encourage the adoption of modern technology in shrimp farming
Penggunaan Algoritma K-Means Berbasis Website dalam Menentukan Kelompok Pembinaan Al-Qur’an di Pondok Pesantren Islamiyah Syafiiyah Sumberanyar
Get PDFThis study aims to develop a web-based application system using the K-Means algorithm to cluster students in Al-Quran training at Pondok Pesantren Islamiyah Syafi’iyah Sumberanyar, Paiton, Probolinggo. The system is designed to improve efficiency and accuracy in determining training groups based on students' Quranic reading skills, including Tajwid, fluency, and memorization. By analyzing data from 824 students, this research successfully classifies them into three skill categories: "Ulya" (advanced), "Wustha" (intermediate), and "Ula" (beginner). This clustering process provides an objective guide for assigning students to appropriate training groups and supports the personalization of the learning process. Additionally, the implementation of web-based technology facilitates easier data management and greater accessibility for administrators. The results show that the K-Means algorithm significantly enhances the efficiency and accuracy of the training process compared to manual methods. These findings are not only relevant to this pesantren but also have the potential to be applied to other Islamic educational institutions to optimize training management

So, the purpose of this research is to analyse, study, and get to know the legal protection that can be received by victims of bullying and know how to prevent and reduce cases of bullying. In this writing, a normative research method is used, which focuses on the study of legal materials. The approach applied is the statute approach, which is carried out by referring to relevant rules and regulations. The results of this paper explain the existence of legal protection that can be given to children who are victims of bullying as well as how to prevent and reduce cases of bullying. settlement through legal channels is the last step in bullying cases and requires continuous cooperation by all parties starting from oneself, family, school, and the state. prevention of bullying from an early age is certainly very important through moral education, the application of living together full of kinship and responsibility is an effective first step to reduce bullying in the school environment
Kontekstualisasi Akal Dan Wahyu: Pemikiran Tafsir Mu'tazilah Dalam Peradaban Islam
Get PDFThis study aims to examine the Mu'tazilah's exegetical thinking in the context of the relationship between reason and revelation in Islamic civilization. Using a literature review research method, this study analyzes various sources, including works of interpretation, books, and articles that discuss Mu'tazilah thought. The results of the analysis show that the Mu'tazilah emphasize the importance of rationality in understanding religious texts, arguing that reason has a central role in interpreting revelation. This approach not only enriches theological discourse in Islam, but also creates space for dialogue between scientific and spiritual traditions. The contribution of this study is to provide a deeper understanding of how Mu'tazilah thought can be used as a foundation for overcoming contemporary challenges in the relationship between religion and science. In addition, this study is expected to strengthen the argument for the importance of reason in interpreting religion in the modern era, as well as encourage further reflection in the tradition of Islamic thought regarding the balance between reason and revelation
Mu'tazilah and the Digital Era: Reinterpreting Islamic Tafsir in the Era of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Get PDFThe development of technology in the digital era, especially artificial intelligence (AI), demands an update in the approach to Islamic interpretation. This study aims to analyze how the principles of Mu'tazilah rationality can be integrated with the development of AI to interpret Islam in the modern era. The research approach uses a qualitative method with a case study design. The study subjects included Mudzir Ma'had Aly, Head of the Study Program, Musyrif, the IT Team, and Mahasantri. Data collection techniques were done through in-depth interviews, literature studies, and digital document analysis. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The study results indicate that using AI in Islamic interpretation can expand the understanding of classical texts with a more rational, contextual, and inclusive approach. The Mu'tazilah perspective provides a philosophical foundation for aligning artificial intelligence with the principles of Justice, reason, and humanity. This has proven effective in creating a new dialogue space that supports the renewal of Islamic thought in the digital era. This study contributes significantly to efforts to understand Islam through the lens of modern technology while adhering to the principles of faith and rationality
Evaluasi Kurikulum di Madrasah: Upaya Peningkatan Kualitas Pembelajaran
Get PDFThis study aims to determine how curriculum evaluation can improve the quality of learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type located at MA Arriyadlah Pandean Paiton. Data collection techniques through 2 instruments, namely observation and interviews conducted with 4 informants (head of madrasah, vice curriculum, and 2 homeroom teachers). Data analysis techniques use an interactive model with data reduction activities, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity with the process of triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study indicate that curriculum evaluation in madrasahs is very important to improve the quality of learning. Systematic and participatory curriculum evaluation is needed to ensure that the curriculum remains relevant and effective in meeting student needs. Through improving teacher competence, more interactive teaching methods and support from all stakeholders including teachers, students, parents, and madrasah managers. Thus, madrasahs can improve the quality of learning and produce competent graduates, have noble character, and are ready to face global challenges
