This research is motivated by the controversy that arose due to the delivery of crude humor with a derogatory tone by the famous preacher Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman to Mr. Sunhaji, which drew widespread criticism from the public. This phenomenon is interesting to study from the perspective of Islamic preaching ethics, especially from the perspective of Indonesian cleric and intellectual, Quraish Shihab. The study aims to investigate how ethics and preaching strategies should be applied in delivering religious messages, as well as how interactions between preachers and audiences can influence public perception of the image of Islam. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach, focusing on the analysis of controversial preaching events. The results show that ideally preaching should be delivered wisely, with noble morals, inclusively, without offending certain parties, and with patience. In conclusion, the use of humor in preaching must remain within the corridor of ethics, respect human dignity, and reflect the values of Islam which are rahmatan lil 'alamin. Therefore, preachers need to be more careful in choosing a communication style so that the preaching message does not actually cause resistance or misunderstanding in societ

Reformulation of Mafqud Husband Regulations in the Indonesian Marriage Law System in the Perspective of Maslahah Al Buthi

    Get PDF
One of the issues that often arises in the context of marriage is the case of "missing husband/wife."This term refers to a situation where the husband is absent or not present in the household for a long time, causing the marriage to be halted or threatened. In the Indonesian marriage law system, this issue refers to UUP No. 01 of 1974 Article 39 and KHI Article 116 point b.This type of research is normative with a legal, comparative, and conceptual approach. This research examines the urgency of reformulating the provisions for a missing husband in the Indonesian marriage law system through the perspective of maslahah al-Buthi.The analysis shows that the two-year waiting period as regulated in KHI Article 116 b and UUP No. 01 of 1974 Article 39 creates serious legal uncertainty for the wife and children, negatively impacting inheritance rights, economic and psychological well-being, and violating the principle of distributive justice.Based on the principle of maslahah al-Buthi, it is recommended to reduce the waiting period to one year to expedite dispute resolution and minimize harm. This reformulation aligns with the goals of national law—human rights protection, gender justice, and legal certainty—while creating synergy between progressive Islamic legal values and modern norms. The implementation of this proposal is expected to achieve a faster determination of marital status, improve economic access for wives, and prevent family poverty, thereby supporting the attainment of family welfare and harmony

BIBLIOMETRIC MAPPING OF INFLATION DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN INDONESIA USING VOSVIEWER

    Get PDF
This study aims to examine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on inflation in Indonesia. The pandemic has had a wide and profound effect on various aspects of life, including the economy. Disruptions in supply chains, changes in consumer demand patterns, and government policies are the main factors affecting inflation during the pandemic. Factory closures and social restrictions have led to shortages of goods and raw materials, thus driving up prices. Meanwhile, the increase in demand for staples and medical products has not been offset by an increase in supply, causing a spike in prices. The government's fiscal and monetary stimulus policies have also increased the money supply, potentially driving further inflation. Fluctuations in energy prices during the pandemic have also contributed to the dynamics of inflation in Indonesia. The bibliometric method is used to identify research trends, inflation and covid-19 in Indonesia as well as researcher collaboration on this topic

    Get PDF
This study investigates the effectiveness of the Reciprocal Teaching strategy in improving the reading comprehension of descriptive texts among first-semester students in the English Language Program at FBMB UNDIKMA. Grounded in Vygotsky’s social constructivist theory, Reciprocal Teaching encourages active student engagement through four key strategies: predicting, questioning, clarifying, and summarizing. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group, the research involved 37 students and utilized pretest and posttest assessments to measure comprehension gains. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students' reading scores following the intervention, as evidenced by a mean score increase from 66.84 to 76.89 and a statistically significant p-value of 0.000. These results suggest that the Reciprocal Teaching strategy is a highly effective approach for enhancing students’ understanding of descriptive texts, promoting not only improved academic outcomes but also greater engagement and metacognitive awareness. The study underscores the potential of Reciprocal Teaching as a practical instructional method, while also noting challenges such as time constraints and classroom management. Future research should explore broader applications of the strategy across diverse text types and educational settings

    Get PDF
The Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) is a government assistance in the form of a certain amount of cash given directly to students who are vulnerable to poverty according to the established criteria. However, in its implementation, there are still many recipients of PIP funds who are still not on target. Several results of evaluations and ongoing studies on the implementation of PIP show weaknesses in this program, namely related to the accuracy of determining the target of PIP fund recipients, where it was found that there were still many non-poor households who received this PIP fund assistance. The purpose of this study is to produce a decision support system to determine students who are truly worthy of being recommended to receive PIP fund assistance. The method used in this study is the Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm. The data used were 300 datasets, by selecting several relevant attributes. For processing using the Rapidminer tool, one of the popular software used in data mining processing. Meanwhile, the evaluation method uses a confusion matrix by calculating the accuracy value. From the test results in determining PIP acceptance at SD Negeri Kedungjajang 02 using the C4.5 algorithm, an accuracy of 97.33% was obtained, with the accuracy criteria of good classification

    Get PDF
In this research, designed an overvoltage and undervoltage fault detector based on the Internet of Things (IoT), which aims to monitor the quality of electrical voltage in detecting overvoltage / undervoltage faults that change instantly with real-time monitoring. This system detects voltage disturbances using the PZEM-004t sensor by considering PLN standards. The overvoltage is above +5% normal voltage and for undervoltage below -10% normal voltage. Voltage disturbances are injected through the transformer configuration to generate overvoltage / undervoltage instantly. Furthermore, the voltage that has been read by the sensor is sent to the Blynk platform as a monitoring system. The transformer configuration is simulated first, with an overvoltage result is 251.8 V and an undervoltage is 110.6 V. In the results of the hardware transformer configuration test, the overvoltage injection is 253 V and the undervoltage is 117.3 V. The data displayed by the monitoring system is compared with the Fluke 43B measuring instrument to be calibrated, with an average error of 1.2%. Monitoring data can be accessed via gadgets. So that preventive actions and analysis can be carried out to reduce the risk of losses due to voltage disturbances

As technology advances, various innovations have been made to assist in diagnosing and treating cataracts. In cataract detection, artificial intelligence-based methods such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) have proven very effective in detecting cataracts. CNN can classify eyes with an accuracy of up to 87%. In addition to image processing techniques such as CNN, the quality of the resulting images highly depends on the lighting system used during the eye image capture. This research expects the lighting system to be designed to adjust light intensity flexibly. This feature allows for adjusting brightness as needed, ensuring high-quality image results without compromising eye health. From this research, the image quality test results show good quality in the duty cycle range of 23.53% to 62.75% with light intensity of 30-84 lux. This indicates that the light intensity at the medium level produces images with good indicators. However, the light intensity conditions at the medium level begin to vary in terms of visual comfort and are still tolerable by most users. In the final test, an experiment involving respondents and image analysis using image processing was conducted. From the experiment, the respondents felt comfortable with the light intensity emitted by the LED. In the image processing section, the average number of images taken to obtain a good indicator was 3 times. A structured lighting system can ensure that good image results are obtained and patients feel comfortable with the light intensity used
