This research method uses a qualitative case study type approach. Data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation analysis. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. To ensure that the data found was relevant, researchers checked the validity of the data by means of extended observations, persistence of observations, and triangulation. The findings of this research prove that the use of audio-visual media in collaboration with the use of demonstration methods can increase learning interest, enthusiasm for learning and student learning outcomes both in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of understanding. The implication is that institutions within the Islamic boarding school environment can develop effective and efficient learning models, combining with sophisticated technology to increase students' understanding and to achieve the goals of learning and education effectively and efficiently without destroying local culture, religious values and Islamic boarding school values
DIGITAL GLOBALIZATION AND THE TRANSFORMATION OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION: CHALLENGES, OPPORTUNITIES, AND CHARACTER STRATEGIES
This study aims to identify strategic issues in Islamic education related to digital globalization and to analyze the challenges, opportunities, and character-strengthening strategies that can be implemented in the modern era. The method used is a literature review with a systematic approach following the PRISMA guidelines (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). The literature selection process was conducted using the Publish or Perish application with the keywords “Digital Globalization,” “Islamic Education,” and “Character Strengthening.” From 100 collected articles, 50 were screened, and finally, 10 main journals were identified as highly relevant for in-depth analysis. The findings indicate that digital globalization presents serious challenges to Islamic education, including a moral crisis among the younger generation, the overwhelming flow of information that may cause distortion in religious understanding, and the growing dependence on technology that could weaken the role of teachers and Islamic educational institutions as moral exemplars. However, digital globalization also provides significant opportunities such as the development of interactive learning models, technology-based da’wah access, and efficiency in Islamic education management. Character-strengthening strategies are crucial to address these dynamics. Integrating moral, spiritual, and digital literacy values into the curriculum, utilizing technology in a guided manner, and fostering synergy among families, schools, and communities are strategic steps in shaping a generation of Muslims who are adaptive, critical, and possess noble character. Thus, digital globalization can serve as a momentum for transforming Islamic education toward a more modern, relevant, and character-oriented system
FROM RESEARCH TO IMPACT: STRENGTHENING THE INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH ECOSYSTEM AND LOCALIZING THE SDGS THROUGH ISLAMIC HIGHER EDUCATION IN INDONESIA (A CASE OF LPPM IAI YASNI BUNGO, 2023–2025)
This study aims to analyze how the institutional reform of the Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) of Institut Agama Islam Yasni Bungo during 2023–2025 strengthened the research ecosystem and transformed research into measurable social impact through the localization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Using a descriptive qualitative case study design, the study collected data from institutional documents, interviews, and field observations. The data were analyzed through thematic analysis to identify patterns of organizational change, SDGs alignment, and impact translation. The findings show that LPPM successfully institutionalized the SDGs within its Research and Community Service Roadmap, formed research groups, implemented internal grant schemes, and redesigned Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) as a community-based learning model aligned with SDGs themes such as food security, education, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. These reforms strengthened academic collaboration, enhanced research productivity, and established measurable community impact. Theoretically, this study integrates Organizational Change Theory, Research Ecosystem Theory, and Islamic Epistemology to propose a Southern Islamic model of transformation guided by the principles of ‘ilm al-nafi’ (beneficial knowledge), adl al-ma‘rifah (epistemic justice), and maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah (moral purpose). The study concludes that institutional reform in Islamic higher education becomes effective when scientific, managerial, and moral dimensions are harmonized to create sustainable and just knowledge systems

Results: The analysis revealed a statistically significant relationship between nurses’ knowledge levels and compliance with intravenous insertion SOPs (p = 0.001), indicating that higher knowledge levels were associated with better compliance. Conclusion: Nurses’ knowledge is a key determinant of compliance with intravenous insertion SOPs and plays an important role in preventing nosocomial infections in emergency care settings
ANALYSIS OF EFL STUDENT’S DIFFICULTIES IN DETERMINING OF THE TITLE OF ENGLISH THESIS
This study aims to analyze the difficulties faced by EFL students in determining the title of their English undergraduate thesis. The research employed a descriptive qualitative design involving five students of the English Education Study Program at Nurul Jadid University. Data were collected through observation and semi-structured interviews to explore students’ experiences, perceptions, and challenges in the process of selecting an appropriate thesis title. The findings reveal that students encountered various difficulties, including a lack of reading scientific journals, limited understanding of research concepts and methodology, difficulty in generating ideas, low English proficiency, inadequate access to academic references, and limited familiarity with thesis writing conventions. Psychological factors such as low motivation, lack of confidence, fear of making mistakes, and an unsupportive academic environment also contributed significantly to the problem. Moreover, technical issues such as limited access to digital libraries and insufficient academic guidance further hindered students in identifying relevant and original research topics. The study concludes that determining a thesis title is a complex process influenced by both internal and external factors. Therefore, it is recommended that students enhance their academic reading habits and research literacy, while lecturers are encouraged to provide systematic guidance and training related to thesis writing, particularly in the early stages of title formulation. This study is expected to contribute to improving thesis supervision practices in EFL contexts
