Humanist-Quranic Based Managerial Organizational Culture in Indonesia: Ethnographic Study
This study aims to analyze the managerial and organizational culture in one of the Islamic universities in Indonesia that has humanist and Qur’anic characteristics, as well as the forms of its implementation. This is expected to be a differentiator from the organizational culture patterns in other higher education institutions, especially private ones. This study uses an ethnographic approach with a data collection flow that adopts the Spradley model. This method was chosen to understand in depth how the integration of humanist and Qur’anic values is applied in the managerial culture that is characteristic of the university. Data collection was carried out through participatory observation, unstructured interviews, and closed questionnaires. Qualitative data validation used triangulation techniques of sources, methods, and researchers. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that the managerial culture applied in the Islamic university has unique characteristics, namely integrating the values contained in the Qur’an, which are manifested in real humanistic actions. This can be seen both in terms of regulations and interactions within it involving the leadership, lecturers, and employees. In addition, this study also found how the institution collaborates with external partner institutions

Adapting Transformative Leadership in Islamic Education: Insights from Madrasah
This study aims to analyze the implementation of transformative leadership in madrasahs, focusing on four main components: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations and documentation. The data obtained are then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns related to implementing transformative leadership. The study results indicate that the madrasah principal successfully acts as a role model that inspires motivates, and supports innovation among teachers and students. Implementing this transformative leadership improves the quality of education by balancing academic achievement and character development of students. However, this study also identified several limitations, such as the lack of active participation in decision-making and suboptimal support for intellectual stimulation. This study provides important implications for leadership development in madrasahs, namely the need to increase the active participation of teachers and students in decision-making and more optimal support for intellectual stimulation. Implementing more inclusive transformative leadership can improve the quality of education, both in terms of academics and the character development of students
The Impact of Transformational Leadership Dimensions on Teachers' Pedagogical Competence
This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership dimensions on the pedagogical competence of madrasah teachers. Using quantitative methods, data were collected from 67 teachers using non-probability sampling techniques and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that idealized influence positively affects teacher pedagogical competence, meaning that the higher the idealized influence, the better the teacher's pedagogical competence. Conversely, inspirational motivation has an adverse effect, indicating that the lower the inspirational motivation, the better the teacher's pedagogical competence. Intellectual stimulation also has a significant effect; the higher the intellectual stimulation, the better the teacher's pedagogical skills. Individualized consideration has a significant effect; the greater the individual attention, the better the teacher's pedagogical competence. Collectively, these four variables affect teacher pedagogical competence. An important finding is the adverse effect of inspirational motivation, which may be due to a lack of support, limited training, or teacher preference for a more relaxed teaching style. This study provides implications for the importance of a balanced leadership strategy in madrasahs, emphasizing the role of idealized influence and intellectual stimulation in improving teaching competence. Schools must provide more professional development opportunities and create a supportive environment to improve teachers' pedagogical skills
Religious Moderation in a Pluralistic World: A Global Bibliometric and Systematic Review (1988–2022) Across Faiths and Regions
This study investigates the development of scholarly discourse on religious moderation through a bibliometric analysis of international publications indexed in the Scopus database from 1988 to 2022. Employing VOSviewer for visualization and trend mapping, the research analyzes 390 publications, focusing on authorship, publication types, source journals, and keyword trends. The most significant surge in publications occurred in 2019, with articles (77.3%) representing the dominant document type. Notable contributors include Somer Murad and Zarzycka, with leading outputs from journals such as Religions and the Journal of Religion and Health. The United States, the United Kingdom, and Indonesia emerged as key publishing countries. Frequently occurring keywords—religion, moderation, and religiosity—highlight the thematic focus of the literature. Beyond quantitative metrics, the study critically reflects on the conceptual landscape of religious moderation, revealing a growing interdisciplinary engagement yet a lack of consensus on definitional boundaries. These findings offer valuable insights into the evolving scholarly understanding of religious moderation and its implications for pluralistic societies, policy discourse, and interfaith engagement. By linking bibliometric trends to broader theoretical and sociopolitical contexts, this research contributes to a more nuanced comprehension of the field’s intellectual structure and future directions

Analyzing Pronunciation Problem with Fricative Consonant Among UIN Malang Students
This study examines how phonological transfer from different regional accents affects the articulation of fricative consonants /f/, /v/, /θ/, and /ð/, leading to systematic pronunciation variations. Unlike previous research that broadly investigates Indonesian-English phonological differences, this study highlights how regional accents further shape L2 pronunciation patterns. Using qualitative research, data were collected through spoken language analysis and in-depth interviews with eight UIN Malang students from Pontianak, Sidoarjo, Indramayu, Bekasi, and Palangkaraya. Findings reveal that students from Malay-influenced regions (Pontianak and Palangkaraya) struggle more with fricative articulation than those from areas where the accent aligns more closely with Standard Indonesian (Sidoarjo, Indramayu, Bekasi). The most common errors include substituting /f/ with /p/ and /v/ with /b/, as well as replacing interdental fricatives with /s/, /t/, /d/, or /z/. These patterns result from phonological transfer, where L1 phonetic constraints shape L2 pronunciation, alongside the influence of exposure to diverse linguistic environments. These findings suggest that regional accents are not just linguistic variables but are also shaped by social and historical factors affecting foreign language acquisition. They underscore the need for pronunciation instruction that addresses accent-specific challenges rather than applying uniform teaching strategies. Language education policies should recognize regional phonetic diversity as a natural aspect of second language learning and develop more targeted pedagogical approaches to enhance pronunciation accuracy
Madrasah Movement with Character: Optimizing the Implementation of P5RA Values through MI Teacher Mentoring
The success of madrasahs can be measured through positive changes in student learning patterns that are enjoyable and aimed at producing intellectually, spiritually, and morally competent generations based on the values of Pancasila and Islam rahmatan lil ‘alamin. The implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project Rahmatan Lil Alamin (P5RA) in madrasahs under KKMI Paciran, Lamongan, was carried out through optimizing teacher mentoring programs. This mentoring aims to strengthen teachers’ abilities in understanding, planning, and integrating P5RA values into the learning process. The Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach was used to explore the human resources potential of each madrasah. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, with teachers as the primary data sources, and madrasah principals and the Head of KKMI as secondary sources. The results showed a significant increase in P5RA implementation, rising by 26%, from 68% to 94% of madrasahs. The success indicators include teachers’ improved ability to integrate the values of religious moderation, tolerance, and social care into both classroom learning and school culture. Supporting factors include the commitment of school leadership, collaboration among teachers, and active community participation. However, challenges remain, particularly the limited human resources, requiring ongoing assistance and capacity buildin
