    Design and Evaluation of a Web-Based Geographic Information System for PPDB Promotion Zoning Based on Student-Origin Distributions

    Advances in information technology have accelerated the digitalization of educational services, including Indonesia’s student admission process (PPDB). This study designs and evaluates a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) to map student-origin distributions and construct promotion zones that guide PPDB outreach strategies. The system was built with CodeIgniter and Leaflet for interactive mapping, while applicant addresses/school origins were processed via geocoding. Outputs include point maps, density heatmaps, administrative-area aggregation (urban village/sub-district), and simple distance buffers (e.g., 1–3 km) to derive rule-based priority promotion zones (thresholds on density and proximity to the school). Evaluation comprised functional testing (black box) and user assessments using questionnaires (Likert/SUS). Results indicate that the system expedites registration, reduces the risk of data loss, simplifies data summarization, and provides promotion-zoning maps that help committees target outreach more effectively. The contributions are: (1) a PPDB web-GIS model that combines origin mapping with rule-based promotion zoning, (2) a replicable operational workflow, and (3) recommendations for future work, including advanced analytics dashboards and automated notification

    Digital Transformation of Sugarcane Sales Administration at CV Al Ameen: Integration of Payment Automation and Visual Analytics for Distribution Optimization

    The sales administration of sugarcane at CV Al Ameen, Jember, is still managed manually, resulting in risks such as inaccurate records, delays in shipment monitoring, and irregular fund disbursement. The lack of a centralized system hinders real-time transaction recapitulation and creates opportunities for fraud, particularly duplicate payment claims. These inefficiencies not only threaten financial accuracy but also undermine the reliability of business reporting. To address these issues, this study proposes a digital administration system that automates transaction recording, verifies payment claims, and improves distribution monitoring accuracy.The system integrates a Telegram Bot for payment automation and interactive visual analytics to monitor both distribution and financial transactions in real time. It is initially implemented as an offline local application to ensure accessibility, with the potential for future adaptation to web- or cloud-based platforms. Key features include automatic transaction recap, Telegram-based notifications, and periodic reporting to business stakeholders without the need for manual record-keeping. The Telegram Bot employs unique delivery identifiers to validate claims, ensuring that each payment request is processed only once, thereby reducing the risk of fraudulent activity.System communication is achieved through the Telegram API and webhook mechanism, enabling automated updates on new transactions, shipment status, and fund disbursement. Furthermore, the bot supports user queries for transaction summaries and payment reminders. The system development follows the Agile Model, which allows iterative design and continuous refinement in line with business partner requirements. The findings demonstrate that the integration of automation and analytics significantly enhances accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in sugarcane sales administration

    This study discusses the design of a Fleet Management Information System at PT. Bagus Amelia Jaya using a User Centered Design (UCD) approach and developed as a web-based application with the Laravel framework. The company's main problems include manual recording, the lack of a structured fleet maintenance schedule, limited visibility of fleet and driver data, and minimal support for operational decision-making. The methodology used combines Research & Development (R&D) with the UCD cycle: understanding the context of use, determining user needs, generating design solutions, and conducting iterative evaluations through usability testing. The research results are a system design that provides fleet data modules, service schedules, operational expenses, role-based user management, and structured reporting. The UCD approach ensures the interface design is aligned with the company's workflow and reduces the learning curve for internal users. This research is expected to fill the gap in previous research that predominantly focuses on technical aspects without comprehensive user involvement

    Enhancing PGMI Students’ Pedagogical Competence Through Deep Learning-Based Lesson Plan Design

    This community service program aims to enhance the pedagogical skills of students in the Primary School Teacher Education (PGMI) Study Program in designing Deep Learning–based lesson plans (RPP). The program was implemented to address the urgent need for prospective teachers to meet the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum, which requires meaningful, student-centered, and competency-based learning. Many PGMI students still struggle to integrate Deep Learning principles into lesson planning, especially in formulating measurable objectives, selecting active strategies, and designing higher-order thinking assessments. The program involved 15 PGMI students as primary participants. Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the program consisted of three stages: needs analysis, training, and mentoring. The needs analysis identified gaps in students’ understanding of lesson plan components. The training introduced theoretical foundations and practical models of Deep Learning–oriented lesson planning, while the mentoring phase provided guided practice in developing complete RPPs. Students contributed actively through reflective discussions, prototype development, and peer feedback. The results show a notable improvement in students’ pedagogical competence, reflected in an increase from an average pretest score of 31.5% to a posttest score of 43.2%, indicating an 11.7% gain. Deep Learning in this program refers to a pedagogical approach emphasizing conceptual depth, problem-solving, reflection, and higher-order thinking. Overall, the program strengthened students’ readiness to become professional and adaptive teachers capable of designing learning aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum

    Enhancing Vocational Educational Quality through Training for Teachers and ABK at SLB Kristen Pelangi Kasih

    Children with special needs need vocational education in fashion design to become independent after graduation. This is because special needs schools (SLB) have a low understanding of the quality of learning, skills development, and intellectual property rights (HKI) for their creations, making them marketable. This Community Service Program (PkM) aimed to enhance the quality of the fashion design vocational education program through fashion skills training and intellectual property rights training for teachers and children with special needs (ABK) to prepare students' independence after graduation from SLB Kristen Pelangi Kasih, Lumajang Regency. The implementation adopted a service-learning approach, which consisted of several stages: problem identification, priority setting, timeline planning, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, unstructured interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that fashion design skills, through training in painting on fabric marbelling, sewing, and cowhide painting, were successfully implemented, and the IPR training for student work provided valuable training for participating teachers. The evaluation showed that 80%-100% of participants stated that the training provided new experiences for them and positively contributed to enhancing the creativity of children with special needs at the SLB Kristen Pelangi Kasih. Ultimately, it can be concluded that the SLB's challenges related to developing student independence can be addressed through vocational skills training supported by IPR for their products

    Penerapan Teknologi Content Delivery Network (CDN) untuk Mendukung Digitalisasi Sekolah di Daerah 3T

    This Community Service Program was implemented at SMKS Bumi Moro, Pulau Morotai Regency, a school located in a frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped (3T) region. The school was selected due to its limited telecommunication infrastructure, which has significantly constrained the implementation of digital learning. An initial survey revealed that the school relied on a single unstable internet access point, had only 12 active computers for approximately 180 students, and most teachers lacked experience in independently operating a Learning Management System (LMS). These conditions highlighted the urgent need for technological intervention. The program adopted a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach consisting of four stages: (1) needs analysis through online surveys and interviews with the school principal and 20 teachers; (2) design and implementation of a local Content Delivery Network (CDN) integrated with Starlink-based internet connectivity; (3) training and mentoring on Moodle LMS utilization and the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in learning; and (4) evaluation of program effectiveness. The training involved 30 participants, including 20 teachers and 10 educational staff members. Evaluation using a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5) showed that 70% of participants were very satisfied and 30% were satisfied, with average scores ranging from 4.6 to 4.9. Post-program observations indicated improved teacher capacity in managing digital classes, conducting online assessments, and utilizing stable internet access. Overall, the program successfully strengthened digital learning infrastructure and teacher competence, offering a replicable model for other schools in 3T regions in Indonesia

    Identifikasi Faktor Literasi Digital Siswa Pasca Pelatihan dengan Algoritma Random Forest

    Digital literacy is a foundational competence for junior high school students as learning increasingly relies on digital platforms; however, empirical evidence identifying which measurable factors most strongly drive post-training improvement remains limited. This study aims to determine key predictors of digital literacy gains after structured training and to develop a predictive model that classifies improvement into three levels (low, moderate, high). Data were collected from 200 junior high school students who participated in a structured program in digital marketing and graphic design, comprising pre-test and post-test scores, participation indicators, learning motivation, and frequency of digital tool use. After data cleaning, transformation, and feature encoding, a Random Forest classifier was trained to model improvement categories. Model performance was assessed using an 80:20 train–test split and stratified five-fold cross-validation, reporting accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrix analysis. The model achieved 78% accuracy and exhibited its strongest and most stable performance in the high-improvement category, while minority categories showed reduced sensitivity, suggesting the influence of class imbalance

    This study examines the dynamics of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) withdrawing its support for the candidate pair running for regent and vice-regent in the 2024 Lampung Timur Regional Election. The primary focus of the research is to analyze the reasons behind PDIP's decision to revoke its endorsement of Ela Siti Nuryamah and Azwar Hadi, as well as the impact of this decision on the democratic process in the region. The study adopts a normative juridical approach, analyzing relevant legislation, particularly PKPU Regulation No. 8 of 2024, which prohibits the withdrawal of support after registration. The findings reveal that concerns among its cadres and constituents opposing the possibility of an uncontested election influenced PDIP's decision. This withdrawal of support not only sparked controversy among the public but also raised questions about the integrity and commitment of political parties in the regional election process. This research aims to contribute to a better understanding of local political dynamics and the legal implications of political party actions in the context of regional elections

    ANALISIS HUKUM PERLINDUNGAN KONSUMEN DALAM TRANSAKSI E-COMMERCE TERHADAP TANTANGAN DAN SOLUSI NORMATIF DI INDONESIA

    This research aims to analyze the form of consumer legal protection in e-commerce transactions in Indonesia and identify new challenges that arise in its implementation in the midst of the rapid development of the digital market. The method used is a normative juridical approach with an analysis of laws and regulations, legal doctrines, and relevant literature studies from scientific journals in the last ten years. The results of the study show that consumer legal protection is still fragmentary and has not been fully adaptive to the dynamics of digital transactions, especially in terms of business actors' responsibilities, personal data protection, and online dispute resolution mechanisms. Weaknesses in the national legal system are also exacerbated by the low digital literacy of consumers and the ineffective supervision and enforcement of the law by the competent authorities. This study concludes that regulatory reform is needed through harmonization with international legal instruments, strengthening community-based consumer legal education, and applying the principles of fairness and transparency in digital regulations. These findings are expected to be a reference in formulating consumer protection policies that are more adaptive, sustainable, and inclusive in the digital economy era.

    Project Based Learning (PBL) to Improve Listening Skills in Arabic Language Learning

    This study aims to describe the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PBL) model in improving listening skills (maharah istima’) among students of the Arabic Language Development Program (PKPBA) at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the PBL model effectively fosters students’ active participation, motivation, and comprehension in Arabic listening activities. The learning process was carried out through systematic stages—listening to audio materials, repetition, interactive questioning, project creation, and presentation—which transformed the class atmosphere from passive listening to active, communicative engagement. The integration of the PBL model with the audiolingual approach strengthened students’ ability to comprehend Arabic sounds, vocabulary, and contextual meanings. In addition to cognitive gains, students demonstrated higher confidence, creativity, and collaboration when completing group video projects. Theoretically, this study supports the constructivist and humanistic learning perspectives that emphasize meaningful learning through experience and interaction.
