From Traditional to Digital: Enhancing Teacher Performance for Improved Educational Quality
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze digital transformation in improving the quality of education in madrasahs, focusing on optimizing teacher performance. The approach used is qualitative with a case study type, where data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data are analyzed using reduction, display, and verification, which helps trace the main themes related to technology implementation in learning and teacher professional development. The study results indicate that the application of technology in various aspects, such as online learning platforms, technology training for teachers, and digital tools, can overcome socio-economic challenges and increase teaching effectiveness. Technology allows teachers to access broader and more flexible educational resources and strengthens communication with parents, improving the quality of education in madrasahs. The implications of this study are the importance of integrating technology in education to address socio-economic disparities and improve teacher performance, which will support achieving more inclusive and quality education goals
The Mindset of Citizenship: How Cultural Intelligence Shapes Leader Behaviors
Get PDFThis study examines how cultural intelligence shapes madrasah principals' leadership behaviour in Bengkulu Province in a multicultural educational context. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research explores how cultural intelligence influences decision-making and social interactions in the madrasah environment. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, as well as direct observations and document analysis to ensure a comprehensive understanding of leadership practices. The findings indicate that madrasah principals with high cultural intelligence foster inclusive school environments, enhance stakeholder communication, and develop policies that respect cultural diversity. Unlike previous studies focusing on general leadership models, this research highlights integrating local cultural values as a key factor in effective leadership within religious-based schools. These insights contribute to the literature by demonstrating how cultural intelligence can be systematically applied to improve leadership practices. The study also provides a practical perspective for developing training programs emphasizing cultural adaptability and inclusive decision-making in educational institutions
The Effectiveness of Digital Da'wah Media: A Case Study of Assajidin.Com and the Transformation of Religious Understanding in Palembang
Get PDFIn the digital era, online media plays a significant role in spreading Islamic teachings. Assajidin.com is one of the platforms used for da'wah purposes. This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of da'wah through Assajidin.com online media towards the congregation of Al Furqon Palembang study. This research method involves in-depth analysis of the content provided by Assajidin.com. The research approach uses qualitative methods, while the data collection techniques are observation, documentation, and interviews. The results showed that, the effectiveness of Assajidin.com online media is considered good because it fulfils the indicators of media effectiveness, in the form of attractiveness (media attractiveness), media clarity, and media completeness. Assajidin.com content attracts the congregation of Al Furqon Palembang study, and can increase religious understanding. While the ease of access, there are some elderly congregants who are not familiar with the use of online media but are more comfortable with face-to-face studies. Although Assajidin.com offers wide and easy access to useful da'wah material, there are several challenges that affect its effectiveness. Limited access to technology among the congregation, especially the elderly, as well as the lack of skills in using online media are the main obstacles.
Gambaran Burnout Pada Mahasiswa Keperawatan
Get PDFMahasiswa Keperawatan berpotensi mengalami burnout akibat tingginya beban akademik dan akan berdampak buruk bagi mahasiswa Keperawatan dimana faktor yang menyebabkan burnout bisa berasal dari lingkungan akademik itu sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran burnout pada mahasiswa Keperawatan Universitas Riau. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif sederhana. Sampel pada penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa Keperawatan yang mengalami burnout berjumlah 236 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa berusia 20 tahun (38,1%), dengan jenis kelamin perempuan (87,7%), dan angkatan yang paling banyak yaitu angkatan 2023 (42,8%). Didapatkan burnout ringan pada mahasiswa sebanyak 58 mahasiswa (24,6), sedang 176 mahasiswa (74,6%), dan berat 2 orang (0,8%). Mayoritas mahasiswa mengalami burnout pada dimensi exhaustion kategori sedang (61%), depersonalisasi ringan (46,2%) dan penurunan pecapaian yang rendah kategori ringan (59,3%). Faktor yang terbanyak menyebabkan burnout yaitu beban akademik yang tinggi (56,4%). Dampak yang paling sering dialami oleh mahasiswa adalah kelelahan (56,0%), diikuti oleh sering merasa ketakutan akan pikirannya sendiri (49,1%) dan merasa hasil belajarnya tidak memuaskan (45,3%). Kesimpulannya, mayoritas mahasiswa mengalami burnout pada kategori sedang. Manajemen lingkungan yang baik oleh institusi dapat membantu menurunkan risiko terjadinya burnout pada mahasiswa
Factors Affecting Learning Motivation and Academic Achievement of Psychology Students in the Ma'had Environment
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the effect of learning motivation and learning environment on student academic achievement at UIN Malang, as well as explore the interaction between the two variables. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 200 students selected using stratified random sampling technique. The results of the analysis show that learning motivation has a significant positive influence on academic achievement with a regression coefficient of 4.674, while the learning environment also contributes positively with a coefficient of 4.649. In addition, the interaction between learning motivation and learning environment showed a significant moderating effect, albeit with an interaction regression coefficient of -0.064, which suggests that learning environment may reduce the influence of learning motivation in certain contexts. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of creating a conducive learning environment to improve student motivation and academic achievement. This research provides new insights for education managers and educators to design more effective learning strategies, as well as highlighting the need for attention to external factors that influence learning motivation. Thus, this study contributes to the development of science in the field of education, particularly in the context of higher education in Indonesia
Management Strategies to Optimize Student Admissions in Higher Education: A Data-Driven Perspective
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the factors that affect prospective students' decision to choose a campus and identify management strategies that can optimize student admissions at STAI Al-Muntahy. The research method used was a mixed method with an explanatory sequential design. Survey and interview data collection techniques. Surveys are used to measure public awareness and interest in institutions. Meanwhile, interviews are used to explain further from the survey results obtained. The findings of this study show several main factors that affect their decision, such as relevant study programs, affordable education costs, and the quality of academic and non-academic services. In addition, innovative, data-based promotions and strengthening the campus's external network also play an important role in attracting the interest of prospective students. The results of this study lead to five main strategies that can be applied to increase new student admissions, namely: (1) more flexible adjustment of education fees, (2) strengthening internal organizations and external campus networks, (3) more targeted and data-driven promotions, (4) improving the quality of academic and non-academic services, and (5) increasing the involvement of alums and the surrounding community. Implementing these strategies is expected to strengthen the image of the campus, increase student satisfaction, and increase the number of new student registrations in the future
Introduction to Various Professions Through Psychoeducation for Children of Migrant Workers in Malaysia
No full textChildren of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia face limited access to formal education due to administrative and citizenship constraints. This situation leads to minimal career literacy, restricting their knowledge about various professions in society. As a result, these children often struggle with motivation and confidence in exploring career options that align with their potential and aspirations. This community service program aims to enhance the career literacy of migrant workers’ children through psychoeducational interventions. The method involves structured career psychoeducation sessions that introduce various professions, career pathways, and skill development opportunities. The program includes interactive discussions, career visualization activities, and hands-on workshops conducted in community learning centers where migrant workers' children receive informal education. Data collection was carried out through pre- and post-intervention assessments, including observations, interviews, and questionnaires to measure changes in career awareness and motivation. The results indicate that psychoeducation significantly improves children's understanding of different professions and the educational paths required to pursue them. Moreover, the program boosts their confidence in career planning and reduces anxiety about their future employment prospects. By providing psychological support and structured career guidance, this approach helps children develop skills and aspirations aligned with their career interests. Thus, psychoeducation serves as an effective strategy in supporting the children of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia, enabling them to unlock their full potential and prepare for the workforce more confidently and competently
Transformation of Health Promotion in the Digital Era: A Case Study on the Utilization of Wedang Uwuh as a Traditional Herbal Medicine in Yogyakarta
Get PDFThe transformation of health promotion in the digital era presents new opportunities to introduce and enhance public awareness of traditional herbal medicine, including Wedang Uwuh. However, challenges such as competition with modern health products and a lack of public awareness regarding the benefits of herbal remedies remain obstacles in promoting this product. Therefore, this study aims to explore the utilization of digital communication technology in the promotion of Wedang Uwuh in Yogyakarta and analyze its impact on public awareness and acceptance. This research employs a qualitative methodology with a case study approach. Data were collected through a literature review, analyzing scientific articles, reports, and case studies related to digital health promotion, the use of traditional herbal medicine, and communication technology in Indonesia. This approach enables a deeper understanding of the promotional strategies used, the challenges faced, and the opportunities for integrating digital technology with local health traditions. The findings indicate that the use of digital technology, such as social media, websites, and health applications, has contributed to increasing public awareness and acceptance of Wedang Uwuh. However, barriers such as the digital divide and limited technological literacy among small business owners remain significant challenges in optimizing digital promotion. Therefore, collaboration between the government, business actors, and local communities is necessary to overcome these challenges and maximize the potential of digital technology in supporting the promotion of traditional herbal products in Indonesia

In this research, researchers used a qualitative approach by relying on literature study as the main data source. Through in-depth analysis of various literature, this research aims to identify the understanding of Muslim thinkers regarding social change, as well as analyzing the influence of the thoughts of classical and modern Islamic figures on the social dynamics of Muslim society. The rules of jurisprudence emphasize that law is closely related to illat (cause). Changes in illat will have implications for changes in law. Thus, studying the thoughts of fiqh figures is crucial for examining how they interpret Islamic teachings in the context of continually developing social dynamics
Enhancing Digital Competencies in Education: A Comprehensive Framework for Teacher Training and Leadership
Get PDFThe development of digital platform-based education requires teachers not only to master technology but also to design interactive, contextual, and pedagogically valuable digital learning experiences. This study aims to create a digital training framework to accelerate the professional growth of Islamic Religious Education teachers by integrating TPACK and Four-D. This study uses a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through training observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed interactively. The results show that the increase in data-based competencies includes Canva media creation (85%), PowerPoint presentations (81%), Wordwall and Quizizz digital assessments (78%), Padlet collaboration (74%), Google Classroom class management (72%), and digital teaching simulations (69%). This study develops a Digital Training Leadership Framework grounded in practice, collaboration, digital projects, and the dissemination of teacher work, as a new contribution. The implications of this study recommend designing digital training based on dominant practices, continuous mentoring, and peer mentoring to strengthen the digital learning Leadership of Islamic Religious Education teachers
