Evaluation of the Impact of Price Increases on the Availability of Basic Necessities for the Community in the 2024 Election Era
Get PDFThe fluctuation of staple food prices, especially rice, has often become a significant concern in Indonesia, particularly during periods of political transition, such as the 2024 election era. This study aims to evaluate the impact of price increases on the availability of basic necessities for the community. The research employed a quantitative method using survey data from 120 households in urban and rural areas, combined with secondary data from the National Statistics Agency. The results reveal that price increases in rice and cooking oil had a direct effect on reducing household consumption levels, with 68% of respondents reporting difficulty in maintaining food sufficiency. The novelty of this research lies in highlighting the intersection between electoral dynamics and food security issues. The findings imply that policymakers should anticipate political cycles by implementing stabilization programs and subsidy schemes to ensure the continuous availability of essential goods
Smart Education in the AI Era: Trends and Innovations in Personalized Learning in Islamic Schools
No full textThis study examines trends and innovations in personalized learning based on artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of Islamic education in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). The primary objective of this study is to identify the impact of AI technology implementation on the teaching and learning process, teacher work efficiency, and infrastructure challenges faced in implementing smart education. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews with asatidz (Islamic teachers), Islamic boarding school principals, and other stakeholders. The study results indicate that the use of AI can adapt learning materials to the needs and abilities of each student, thereby increasing engagement and motivation to learn. Furthermore, teachers experienced increased work efficiency through automated systems for assessing and monitoring student progress. However, the implementation of this technology remains hampered by infrastructure constraints such as a lack of digital devices, unequal internet access, and minimal training for educators. This study concludes that AI has significant potential to revolutionize learning in Islamic boarding schools, provided it is supported by technological readiness and increased human resource capacity. The implications of this study highlight the need for strategic policies to accelerate the equitable and sustainable digitalization of Islamic education in the AI era
Penerapan Natural Language Processing (NLP) dalam Analisis Sentimen pada Media Sosial
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan teknik Natural Language Processing (NLP) dalam menganalisis sentimen di media sosial. Analisis sentimen merupakan aspek penting dalam memahami opini publik, tren sosial, dan perilaku konsumen. Dalam penelitian ini, kami menggunakan dataset dari Twitter yang mencakup tweet terkait produk tertentu untuk menganalisis bagaimana NLP dapat digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan tweet sebagai positif, negatif, atau netral. Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan algoritma Support Vector Machine (SVM) dan Naive Bayes (NB) untuk klasifikasi sentimen dan mengukur akurasi masing-masing model. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa SVM memiliki akurasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan NB dalam analisis sentimen. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa teknik NLP dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam analisis sentimen, yang dapat digunakan oleh perusahaan untuk memahami opini publik tentang produk merek
CULTURE OF SANTRI SENIORITY BETWEEN TRADITION AND MODERNIZATION IN ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL EDUCATION
Get PDFThe tradition of seniority in Islamic boarding schools plays an important role in shaping the social structure and character of santri, where senior santri have the authority to guide and supervise junior santri. This tradition is not only seen as a hierarchy, but also as a learning mechanism that teaches the values of respect, responsibility and leadership. Even though it provides benefits in character building, challenges arise regarding the potential for abuse of authority which can affect relationships between students. In an organizational context, seniority also plays a role in efficient decision making, but can hinder innovation if it is too rigid. In addition, modernization in Islamic boarding schools provides opportunities to improve the quality of education through technology, but risks eroding the traditional values that characterize Islamic boarding schools. Therefore, it is important to maintain a balance between modernization and preserving traditions, as well as integrating moral education to ensure seniority is carried out wisely and fairly. Through proper management, Islamic boarding schools can produce a generation of students who are not only academically intelligent, but also have strong morality and character, able to contribute positively to a society that is balanced between cultural heritage and the demands of the times

Empowering Students through Congregational Leadership: A New Approach to Character Education in Islamic Boarding Schools
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the implementation of collective leadership in character education and its impact on students' attitudes and behavior in Islamic Boarding Schools. This study is based on integrating the interpretation of the Fii Zhilalil Quran with the model of collective leadership in character education, especially in formal education. The qualitative research method with a case study approach involves data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was done using a thematic approach, grouping interviews, observation, and documentation data based on relevant categories to find the central theme. The study results indicate that the implementation of collective leadership in character education has succeeded in increasing the values of cooperation, mutual respect, and responsibility in students. This collective leadership model is applied in formal and non-formal activities such as cooperation, providing direct experience in developing social and leadership skills. The social implications of this study are the importance of implementing a religious-based leadership model to shape students' characters who can contribute positively to society

Seiring dengan berkembangnya ilmu teknologi saat ini, kebutuhan akan sistem Object detection juga akan semakin dibutuhkan. Terdapat 4 fokus utama dalam Computer vision yaitu Pengenalan (Recognition), Pelacakan Visual (Visual Tracking), Segmentasi Semantik (Semantic Segmentation), dan Restorasi Citra (Image Restoration). Supaya dapat melakukan keempat hal tersebut dibutuhkan suatu Algoritma yang secara khusus dapat mendeteksi kendaraan, maka dipilihlah Algoritma Yolov5. Yolov5 merupakan salah satu dari beberapa Algoritma dalam bidang pendeteksian yang sering digunakan. YoloV5 (You Only Look Once Version 5) adalah salah satu model deteksi objek berbasis deep learning yang dikembangkan untuk mendeteksi objek dalam gambar dan video secara real-time. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah meneliti kekurangan yang mungkin terjadi dari Algoritma YoloV5 saat ada dalam beberapa kondisi yang kurang menguntungkan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada Akurasi, Presisi, dan Recall. Nilai akurasi pada penelitian ini mendapatkan angka 0,51 atau 51%, untuk nilai presisi mendapatkan angka 0,505050505 atau 50,505050505%, sedangkan nilai recal mendapatkan angka 1 atau 1%
An Analysis of Morphological Errors in Arabic Thesis Abstracts at a University Level
Get PDFMorphological competence plays a crucial role in producing academically sound Arabic writing, especially for non-native learners in higher education. This study aims to analyze and categorize morphological errors found in the thesis abstracts of students in the Arabic Language Education Study Program at IAIN Kediri. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a content analysis approach, the research focuses on identifying dominant patterns of morphological mistakes and offering strategic insights to improve linguistic accuracy in students’ final academic projects. The data consisted of three randomly selected abstracts from 2023–2024 graduates, which served as the primary source, supported by secondary sources such as books and articles related to Arabic morphology. The analysis process involved four stages: data collection, error identification, explanation, and evaluation. The results revealed four major categories of morphological errors: incorrect word formation, misapplication of wazan (word patterns), inaccurate use of various types of hamzah, and improper placement of ḍamīr (pronouns). These findings suggest the need for targeted instructional interventions to reinforce students’ understanding of Arabic morphological structures in academic contexts
