This research aims to describe and explain students' mistakes in solving mathematical numeracy problems based on APOS theory in fifth grade elementary school. This research method uses qualitative descriptive research. The research instruments used observation sheets, test question sheets and interviews. According to the research results, students' understanding of fraction material is quite high, although there are some students who actually understand the material but are lazy in taking the tests given so they only do a few questions but are not thorough enough and are too hasty in understanding the material and working on the questions. Errors at the action stage are included in the low category, because the majority of students can already understand what is known in the question. Errors at the process stage are included in the low category, because most students already understand what is asked in the question. At the error object stage in implementing the plan, students are not yet fully able to solve the problem, there are still many students who only write down the formula and there are also those who carry out calculation operations but the final result is wrong. Error at schema stage. At this stage, it is included in the highest category, because students do not write conclusions from the final results of the questions in question and students do not check their answers again

The Qur'an as a guide and guidance for the life of Muslims, has regulated all life values that are the basic rights of every person. Instilling human rights values is one form of adaptation to the demands of the times, as well as an effort to realize social harmony in community life. The tradition of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, as one of the oldest Islamic educational institutions, has a strategic role in shaping individual character through teaching religion, local culture, and universal morals. This article discusses how Islamic boarding schools internalize human rights values in educational practices and daily life, with an emphasis on the principles of justice, respect for differences, and balance between rights and obligations. Through a historical and normative approach, this study found that human rights values are often in line with Islamic teachings taught in Islamic boarding schools, although their application requires the right context and understanding. This integration is carried out through a yellow book-based learning method, a tradition of deliberation, and strengthening morals, which are the characteristics of Islamic boarding schools. This study confirms that the tradition of Islamic boarding schools has great potential in advancing human rights contextually, especially in a pluralistic society like Indonesia

The enforcement of human rights is a fundamental aspect of a democratic state that upholds the principles of justice and the welfare of its citizens. In Indonesia, human rights are guaranteed by the 1945 Constitution and various laws and regulations, but their implementation in practice faces numerous challenges. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of human rights enforcement within Indonesia's positive law, focusing on the obstacles, challenges, and efforts made by the state and relevant institutions. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis that explores the applicable regulations, law enforcement mechanisms, and human rights violations occurring in Indonesia. This study finds that although Indonesia has various legal instruments to protect human rights, these instruments are hindered by several factors, including inconsistencies between laws and practices in this area, weak law enforcement, and the ongoing occurrence of human rights violations. It is clear that the enforcement of human rights continues to be obstructed by widespread discrimination and impunity within the legal system. The study concludes that to create a better environment for the enforcement of human rights in Indonesia, improvements are needed in the legal system, the enhancement of law enforcement agencies' capacities, and an increase in public awareness and participation

    Get PDF
This study aims to analyze the relationship between communication systems, work motivation, and reward management on human resource development (HRD) in madrasahs. The study used a quantitative method with a correlational survey design. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. A sample of 60 teachers was selected using random sampling techniques from three representative madrasahs in the region. Data analysis was conducted using correlation statistics and multiple regression in SPSS version 29. The results showed that communication systems, work motivation, and reward management had a significant effect on HRD development in madrasahs. Partially, the communication system had a positive correlation of 0.71, the strongest work motivation was 0.85, and reward management was 0.75. All three also contributed significantly simultaneously, with an F count of 94.94, exceeding the F table value of 4.01, and a combined correlation coefficient of 0.877. The regression equation revealed that work motivation and reward management had a positive impact, while the communication system also played a role, albeit with a small coefficient. These findings provide a strong basis for madrasah managers to integrate these three factors into their human resource development strategies, creating a competent and productive teaching staff

Integrating Religiosity and Work Ethics: Shaping an Ethical and Productive Work Culture in Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership

    Get PDF
This study aims to analyze the meaning of religiosity and love of money in shaping an ethical and productive work culture in the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership of North Maluku during the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method with a purposive sampling technique, involving thirteen Muhammadiyah leaders and administrators. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, documentation, and open-ended forms, then validated by triangulation and interactive analysis by Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that religiosity plays a crucial role in maintaining honesty, responsibility, and professionalism as a moral control. Spiritual values are practiced through Islamic work ethics, such as trustworthiness, hard work, and a balance between professional and personal interests. On the other hand, love of money is understood ambivalently: as a positive drive to improve work ethic, but potentially harmful if uncontrolled, giving rise to pragmatic and materialistic attitudes. The integration of the two creates a work culture that is adaptive, balanced, and rooted in Islamic values. These findings confirm that the challenges of digitalization and materialism can be overcome by strengthening religiosity as an ethical foundation, enabling Muhammadiyah to build a modern, competitive, and civilized work culture, while prioritizing educational aspects that instill moral values and character in the next generation

Integration of Local Wisdom and Digital Innovation: A Strategic Management Model for Islamic Higher Education Institutions in Developing Countries

    Get PDF
Islamic Higher Education Institutions (IHEIs) in developing countries face a dual challenge of maintaining cultural identity while pursuing digital transformation. Although digital innovation has been widely studied as a driver of efficiency and competitiveness, limited empirical research explores how local wisdom functions as a strategic enabler in higher education management. This study addresses this gap by proposing a hybrid strategic management model that integrates local wisdom, digital innovation, and strategic leadership. Using a comparative case study of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Egypt, data were collected from secondary sources, including policy documents, institutional reports, and peer-reviewed literature, and analysed through thematic content analysis with cross-case coding. Findings reveal that local wisdom provides legitimacy and cultural grounding, while digital innovation strengthens adaptability and efficiency; strategic leadership integrates both dimensions into sustainable institutional transformation. Theoretically, this study contributes to value-based strategic management literature by challenging the modernity–tradition dichotomy in non-Western contexts. Practically, it offers actionable insights for policymakers and administrators to design strategies that balance technological adoption with the preservation of institutional identity
