    Get PDF
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of education on the dangers of bullying using audiovisual methods on adolescents’ knowledge and attitudes, considering that bullying is a serious psychosocial problem in schools which can cause long-term negative impacts such as trauma, decreased self-confidence, and reduced academic performance, and thus requires effective health education strategies to increase awareness and preventive attitudes. This study applied a Quasi-Experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group and involved 60 respondents selected through total sampling, divided into 30 adolescents in the intervention group and 30 in the control group. The intervention group received structured audiovisual-based education that presented material on the definition, types, impacts, and prevention strategies of bullying, while the control group did not receive any intervention. Data were collected using questionnaires on knowledge and attitudes and analyzed with the Wilcoxon test at a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the knowledge and attitudes of the intervention group after receiving audiovisual education (Asymp. Sig = 0.000 < α = 0.05), whereas the control group did not experience significant changes due to the absence of intervention. These findings demonstrate that audiovisual education is more effective compared to conventional approaches because it combines visual and auditory stimulation, making learning materials easier to understand and remember, as well as more engaging for adolescents. In conclusion, audiovisual-based education is proven effective in improving adolescents’ knowledge and attitudes regarding the dangers of bullying, and its application should be considered as part of school-based health promotion programs, while future research can further explore its long-term effectiveness and the potential benefits of combining audiovisual methods with peer support and parental involvement in bullying prevention

    Get PDF
This study investigates the short-run effects of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) investment and Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) on inclusive economic growth in Indonesia, with human capital included as a moderating variable. Using annual time-series data from 1990 to 2024 sourced from the World Bank, the analysis applies Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to evaluate the interaction between investment and human capital. The empirical findings show that MSME investment and human capital exert strong and significant positive influences on inclusive growth, while GFCF demonstrates a positive but relatively modest direct impact. Furthermore, human capital significantly enhances the effects of both MSME investment and GFCF, emphasizing its role as a catalyst in improving investment productivity and inclusiveness. This study provides updated empirical evidence on Indonesia’s investment–growth nexus by applying an interaction-based MRA framework to long-term data, highlighting the strategic importance of integrating human capital development within investment-driven growth policies

    Get PDF
This research is motivated by the increasing symptoms of individualism in educational environments that threaten the values of togetherness, empathy, and social solidarity of students, especially in the context of a multicultural society. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is presented as a value instrument to respond to this phenomenon through a Value-Based Education approach that emphasizes the integration of values, character, and learning experiences. The focus of this research is to describe the process of integrating Islamic values in reducing individualism and shaping the social character of students in a multicultural environment. This research uses a case study method conducted at the Islamic Book Deliberation Institute of Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School in the Al-Hasyimiyah region. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of Value-Based Education through the stages of clustering individualism, planning individualism, applying approach, and approach evaluation successfully reduced the level of individualism of students from an egoistic orientation to social empathy. Internalization of multicultural Islamic values is implemented through four dimensions, namely curriculum integration, explicit teaching, social project-based learning, and the formation of an inclusive school culture. The transformation of student character is evident in the change in attitude from apathetic to participatory and from self-orientation to social orientation. The implications of this research confirm that Value Based Education is not only effective as a pedagogical approach, but also strategic in building collective awareness, empathetic character, and social resilience amidst the current of individualism in a multicultural society
