    Get PDF
This study explores the role of dialogic leadership in managing Islamic boarding schools and its contribution to preparing students for the challenges of the digital era. Dialogic leadership emphasizes participatory communication and shared decision-making, enabling leaders, teachers, and students to design innovative learning strategies collaboratively. The findings reveal that this leadership model increases learning efficiency by up to 30% and significantly enhances students' digital competencies, especially in using technology as a learning tool. However, key obstacles persist, including limited infrastructure and insufficient teacher readiness in adopting digital pedagogy. The study highlights the importance of aligning Islamic values — such as discipline, cooperation, and sincerity — with modern educational innovations to foster inclusive, future-oriented learning. Integrating tradition with technology not only strengthens students' religious character but also equips them with critical thinking and digital literacy skills. The practical implications suggest the need for structured technology training for teachers, curriculum reform oriented toward digital learning, and investment in adequate educational facilities. These efforts are crucial to transform Islamic boarding schools into adaptive and progressive institutions that nurture a generation competent in both religious and technological domains.was use

    Get PDF
Arabic language learning in Islamic secondary schools often faces challenges related to limited vocabulary mastery and low speaking confidence. Vocabulary is a fundamental component of maharah kalam, yet it is frequently taught through rote memorization that does not support active oral use. This study aims to examine how interactive Wordwall media enhances Arabic vocabulary mastery through speaking activities. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research also involved one Arabic teacher, ten eighth-grade students, and one curriculum coordinator. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data condensation, data display, and verification. The findings reveal that Wordwall enhances students’ active use of Arabic vocabulary, increases observable engagement in speaking activities, and supports students’ confidence in maharah kalam. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative approach that connects vocabulary mastery, engagement, and speaking confidence through interactive digital media. The study recommends integrating Wordwall into Arabic speaking instruction to foster communicative competence and supportive learning environments

    Get PDF
This study aims to analyze the contribution of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in accelerating the halal certification application for MSMEs in Taman Village, Paiton District. Halal certification is crucial for MSMEs as it opens up wider market access, especially in modern retail and export markets. However, many MSME actors in Taman Village are still unaware of the halal certification process and face various administrative obstacles. This study employs an empirical legal research approach with interviews and field observations. The findings show that BUMDes plays a significant role as a facilitator by providing assistance, information, and acting as an intermediary between MSMEs and relevant agencies such as BPJPH. However, BUMDes' contribution in expediting the halal certification process is still limited by human resource capacity and a lack of inter-agency coordination. The study recommends enhancing BUMDes' internal capacity and collaborating with universities to strengthen their role in facilitating halal certification

    Get PDF
This study aims to analyze the role of the modern retailer Trenmu Mart in increasing the economic independence of the Muhammadiyah Kudus Islamic Boarding School. As Islamic educational institutions, Islamic boarding schools often face financial dependence on fluctuating Educational Development Contributions (SPP) and external aid, which impacts employee welfare and the implementation of student development programs. Efforts to create independent funding sources through business units were previously undertaken with the establishment of Mu Mart in 2016, but were unable to survive due to a lack of professional management and an unstrategic location. This experience led to the establishment of Trenmu Mart in 2025 as a new strategy to build the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions, and its validity was tested using source and method triangulation. The research results show that Trenmu Mart has a positive impact on the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools. Sales have increased significantly every week since the start of operations, with profits used to improve employee welfare through incentives and allowances, and to support various student activities, such as providing learning resources, skills training, and religious programs. Furthermore, Trenmu Mart serves as a learning medium for entrepreneurship for students involved in store operations, providing real-world experience in Sharia-based business management practices. Trenmu Mart's presence also strengthens the relationship between Islamic boarding schools and the surrounding community, which also benefits economically through easy and affordable shopping access. The research conclusion confirms that Trenmu Mart serves not only as a commercial entity but also as a social, educational, and da'wah instrument. Its management concept aligns with the principles of social entrepreneurship in Islamic economics and reflects the application of the maqashid sharia principles in economic activities. With professional management and support from all elements of the Islamic boarding school, Trenmu Mart has long-term prospects as a model of Islamic boarding school economic independence that can be replicated in other Islamic educational institutions in Indonesi

    Get PDF
Indonesia is one of the world’s largest coal exporters, with a significant contribution tomeeting global energy demand. However, the competitiveness of Indonesia’s coalexports is strongly influenced by international market dynamics and external factors. This study aims to analyze the competitiveness of Indonesia’s coal exports in theglobal market using the Vector Autoregression (VAR) model for the period 2004–2023.The variables analyzed include Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), international coalprices (HBI), exchange rate (NT), national coal production, and competitivenessmeasured through the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA). The results indicatethat Indonesia still lags behind Australia in terms of RCA, although the gap hasnarrowed between 2018 and 2023. Conversely, compared to Russia, Indonesiaconsistently outperforms. The impulse response function (IRF) analysis reveals thatFDI has a positive impact on RCA, while rising international coal prices tend toweaken competitiveness. National coal production shows a positive effect in themedium term, whereas the exchange rate responds negatively to price fluctuations.Variance decomposition (VD) results show that FDI had a dominant contribution inthe early period (70–75%) but declined to around 20%, while the influence ofinternational coal prices increased to 40%. Overall, Indonesia’s coal exportcompetitiveness is largely shaped by external factors, requiring strategies such asmarket diversification, downstream industry development, efficiency improvements, and the optimization of global geopolitical opportunities

Analyzing Islamic School Students’ English Vocabulary Learning: Motivation and Learning Strategies

    Get PDF
This study aims to analyze English vocabulary learning among Islamic middle school students particularly on their motivation and the learning strategies. A mixed methods approach was used, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitatively, researchers used questionnaires to measure students' motivation in learning vocabulary. Qualitatively, in-depth interviews were conducted to understand students' experiences in learning English vocabulary. Quantitative data was collected through motivation and learning strategy questionnaires adapted from Tanaka's (2017) language learning model and distributed to 21 students. Qualitative data were gathered through semi-structured interviews with three students in the class. The results show that students with high intrinsic and extrinsic motivation tend to use more varied and active vocabulary learning strategies, such as intensive reading and using new vocabulary in conversational contexts. This finding is supported by data showing students' response percentages regarding their learning strategies. Generally, interactive and contextual learning strategies lead to better vocabulary mastery than passive strategies. This study suggests that further research should explore the relationship between learning motivation, learning strategies, and students' academic achievement in a broader context. Future studies are also recommended to involve entire classes without separating gender to achieve more representative results.
