Tarbiyah dan Dakwah dalam Novel Kemarau A.A Navis

Media and Religion: Da'wah on the Role of Teachers on the Muhammadiyah Website : Media dan Agama: Dakwah Peran Guru di Website Muhammadiyah

This study examines how Muhammadiyah, one of Indonesia’s largest Islamic organizations, utilizes its official website as a medium of digital da’wah and educational communication, with a particular focus on the portrayal of teachers as moral and intellectual agents. Using a qualitative content analysis of selected articles published on muhammadiyah.or.id, the research explores how religious narratives are integrated into discourses of pedagogy, professionalism, and moral ethics. Drawing upon Gary R. Bunt’s theory of the Cyber Islamic Environment (CIE) and Everett Rogers’ Diffusion of Innovation, the study situates Muhammadiyah’s online activities within the broader framework of technological mediation and religious reform (tajdid). Findings reveal that the website functions not only as an informational platform but also as a transformative arena of moral communication, where teachers are depicted as digital missionaries embodying Islamic values through educational praxis. The research underscores that Muhammadiyah’s digital da’wah represents a shift from one-way religious dissemination to participatory moral education, fostering the emergence of ethical digital citizenship in contemporary Islamic education

Maslahah Mursalah: Pendekatan Alternatif Perbankan Syariah dalam Menyelesaikan Krisis Kemanusiaan Rohingya di Aceh: Maslahah Mursalah: An Alternative Approach for Islamic Banks to Addressing the Rohingya Refugee Crisis in Aceh, Indonesia

    No full text
The humanitarian crisis for Rohingya refugees in Aceh has reached its worst levels. Various institutions have attempted to address this crisis, including Islamic banks; however, due to regulations and policies, these institutions are limited in their ability to provide further assistance. This article explores the concept of maslahah mursalah as an alternative approach to policymaking that Islamic banks can use to help alleviate the humanitarian crisis affecting Rohingya refugees in Aceh. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Primary data sources include books discussing the interests of two reformers, while secondary data was collected from newspapers, books, and articles examining Islamic banking in Aceh and issues facing the Rohingya community. The findings of this study indicate that: (1) the principle of maslahah is an Islamic principle that can serve as a basis for Islamic banks to develop policies aimed at assisting the Rohingya in Aceh, as this urgent need is not currently being addressed by these banking institutions. (2) The humanitarian crisis of Rohingya refugees in Aceh is considered a necessary need, according to the definitions established by scholars such as Al-Ghazali, Ibn Ashour, and Al-Shatibi. (3) We believe that the humanitarian crisis of Rohingya refugees in Aceh can be addressed by Islamic banks, which include 28 banks — seven Sharia commercial banks, six Sharia business units, and 15 people's credit banks — from corporate social responsibility funds to help 1,104 Rohingya refugees who are sheltered in four locations across Aceh: Bedi, Sabang, North Aceh, and East Aceh.

This paper aims to answer the halal value chain phenomenon that is developing in several cities in Indonesia. However, the study focuses only on Purwokerto City, where the city center in Banyumas Raya has succeeded in developing various fields, including economics, education, and industry. One of the exciting things about this development is the potential of the halal value chain, especially in three main aspects: the halal food sector, halal fashion, and Islamic financial institutions. This article uses field research and qualitative descriptive analysis; the research data shows that this development has yet to become a force supported by policy, public understanding, and business actors regarding halal aspects. With a qualitative descriptive nature supported by SWOT analysis, this article provides an overview that, conceptually, Purwokerto City has tremendous and promising potential in developing the halal value chain. However, this potential is still sporadic and has not received attention from policymakers to develop Purwokerto City as a "Halal City Area" in Banyumas Raya, Indonesia

    No full text
This study explores how the meaning of audit is constructed and reframed through the lived experiences of auditor–auditee interactions within faith-based financial institutions. Five key themes emerged: (1) auditing serves to uphold trust between stakeholders and religious accountability; (2) auditors prioritize professional integrity, piety, and social responsibility; (3) audit quality stems from trustworthiness, sincerity, honesty, and courage; (4) auditor satisfaction encompasses both material and spiritual dimensions; and (5) auditing represents service rather than power over others. Adopting a phenomenological approach, this study captures the essence of the interactive processes between auditors and auditees, revealing that audit meaning transcends regulatory accountability to embody moral responsibility, mutual trust, and shared spiritual values. Financial Health and Financial Distress: The Moderating Role of Firm Size in Islamic Banks (2021–2023)

The purpose of this study is to use the Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital (RGEC) technique to examine the financial health of Indonesian Islamic commercial banks from 2021 to 2023. Firm size is used as a moderating variable for financial distress. Using secondary data from Islamic commercial banks' annual financial reports, the investigation looked at the correlations between the variables using moderation regression methods. The findings indicate that while the Operational Cost to Operational Income Ratio (CIR) has a large favorable impact on financial hardship, the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a considerable negative impact. However, as their values are below the table, Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), and Return on Assets (ROA) have no discernible impact. The association between financial hardship and NPF, GCG, and ROA is moderated by firm size, but not by other factors. The model well describes the variability of financial hardship, as evidenced by the determination coefficient of 91.6%. This study highlights the importance of firm size in mitigating financial distress and offers insights for regulators and bank management to enhance financial performance and reduce financial distress risks
