Low student interest and learning outcomes in Integrated Social Studies subjects in Elementary Schools/Islamic Elementary Schools are often caused by conventional learning approaches and a lack of active student involvement. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) model offers a solution through contextual problem solving. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the PBL model in Integrated Social Studies learning in Elementary Schools/Islamic Elementary Schools and identify its impact on student learning outcomes. This study uses a literature study method by analyzing various relevant journal articles, books, and scientific publications published in 2018-2023. The results of the analysis show that the application of PBL in Integrated Social Studies is effective in improving students' conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, collaboration, and learning motivation. PBL stages such as problem orientation, learning organization, independent inquiry, development and presentation of results, as well as analysis and evaluation, are successfully applied in the context of local problems close to students' lives

This study is entitled "The Contribution of Limb Muscle Explosive Power, Balance to Jumping Ability in Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 9 Banda Aceh Academic Year 2012/2013". Jumping is one of the athletic numbers whose achievement is influenced by components of physical condition such as Limb Muscle Explosive Power, Balance. This study aims to determine the contribution of Limb Muscle Explosive Power, Balance to jumping ability in grade XI students of SMA Negeri 9 Banda Aceh Academic Year 2012/2013 using purposive sampling techniques. The instruments used in this study were: (1) leg muscle explosive power, measured by standing broad jump test, (2) balance, measured using stork stand test, and (3) jumping ability measured by jumping test. Data is processed using statistical techniques in the form of calculation of mean value, standard deviation (SD) and correlational test. The results obtained were as follows: (1) there was a positive and significant relationship between the explosive power of the leg muscles and the ability to jump infection by (r = 0.49), (2) there was a positive and significant relationship between balance on the ability to jump infection by (r = 0.54) and (3) there was a positive and significant relationship between the explosive power of the leg muscles and balance on the ability to jump infection by (R_ (Y.X_1 X_2 ) = 0.61). The results of hypothesis testing show that Fcalculate = 6.52 ≥ Ftable = 3.44. Therefore, the explosive power of the limb muscles and balance have a significant contribution to the ability to jump infections

Indonesia as a country with the largest number of volcanoes in the world, Mount Merapi which is one of the most active. OIne of its largest eruptions recorded in 2010. Kuning River, which originates into Mount Merapi is affected by cold lava flows. In the research region, there are ten sabo dams that function as cold lava controller, supposedly designed with a 100-year return for volcanic areas. This research focuses on the capacity of rivers and sabo dams to cope with cold lava with return period of 2 to 100-year. Hydraulic modeling of cold lava was performed using non-Newtonian 2D HEC-RAS with DEM data from LiDAR in 2012. Results showed the river was able to flow lava floods 2 to 100-year return period without sabo dams. However, in existing conditions with ten sabo dams, there is flood at upstream of Sabo Dam KU-Rejodani starting from the 5-year return period. This has been validated with calculations that are in line with hydraulic simulation results. To increase river capacity, construction of 1.5-meter high embankment upstream of the KU-Rejodani sabo dam proved to be an effective solution, to increase river capacity up to Q100. This effort supports mitigation for cold lava disaster

Abstract Student wellbeing is a condition of positive emotional life in students in the school environment. Wellbeing plays a very important role in the adolescent development process and supports the achievement of learning success at school. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the external system of vocational students (family and school) and their level of well-being. This research method is a correlational study of three research variables namely student wellbeing, family functioning and school climate. The subjects in this study were 140 students from two public vocational schools in Makassar City. The first and second hypothesis tests show that there is a positive and highly significant relationship between family functioning and student wellbeing (r = 0.420; p < 0.01) and there is also a positive and highly significant relationship between school climate and student wellbeing (r = 0.470; p < 0.01). The third hypothesis test uses multiple regression and shows that the variables of family functioning and school climate together are significantly related to student wellbeing of vocational high school students in Makassar City (F = 27.018; df = 2.0; p < 0.01)

factors, which involve the development of learning programs and delivery strategies or learning processes. What is no less important is how teachers design the teaching and learning process and carry out innovations in the learning process such as the utilization and use of media, teaching materials, and appropriate learning models that are adapted to the conditions of students so that learning objectives and student learning outcomes can be achieved in accordance with hopes to be achieved and get maximum results. This research aims to find out, 1) How the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is applied to Opportunity Material 2) What are the Student Learning Results Using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model. This research uses a qualitative approach where data is obtained using Miles Matthew analysis. B and Huberman Michael, which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and ending with drawing conclusions. The research results show that there is an increase in student learning outcomes by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on Opportunity Material
