Exploring the Relationship between Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety and Speaking Performance among Students in EFL Setting
Get PDFSpeaking in a foreign language can cause anxiety for many EFL students and it can result a big impact on their performances and overall learning experiences. This study aims to explore the level of Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety (FLCA) and the relationship between FLCA and speaking performance among EFL students. This research employed a mix method research design, it is combination between descriptive qualitative and quantitative to explore the level of Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety (FLCA) and its correlation with students’ speaking performance. This research was conducted in one of universities in Bandung. 24 students who are English students were selected using purposive sampling techniques as participants of this study. Additionally, the findings imply that educators and institutions must prioritize strategies to reduce anxiety in speaking classes and highlight the need for awareness among teachers regarding the impact of anxiety on student performance. It is expected that teacher can create a supportive and non-judgmental environment in the classroom, reduce the pressure on individual students, and allow them to practice speaking in a less intimidating context

Get PDFThe aim of this research is to find out "an analysis of creative dance activities to develop gross motor skills in early childhood at RA Miftahul Jannah Palembang". In this research the researcher used a qualitative type of case study research method. The total sample was 10 children from RA Miftahul Jannah Palembang, data collection techniques used observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this observation are that creative dance activities to develop gross motor skills of young children at RA Miftahul Jannah Palembang are quite good in the movements taught by the teacher. At RA Miftahul Jannah Palembang we also follow several procedures for creative dance activities to ensure that creative dance activities run smoothly and follow existing procedures

Get PDFTo support individual confidence can be seen through physical appearance, one of the factors that can support the confidence of women or female students is the use of makeup. This study aims to find out the extent of the correlation between daily makeup use and self-confidence in students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method of correlation by conducting a survey, namely making a questionnaire consisting of 35 statements. The sample of this study was 82 students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Jakarta class of 2021 and was selected using a simple random sampling technique. The indicators on the variables of makeup use are duration and frequency, while the confidence variables are self-confidence and ability, responsibility, rationality and rationality. The correlation results obtained in this study of 0.299 which are in the range of 0.200-0.399 show that the correlation level is low and positive

This qualitative data is data collected in the form of words or sentences that refer to the quality of a situation, activity, event, etc. The results of the data presentation show that the education level of the students' parents is at a fairly high level. This is illustrated by the results of measuring the level of parental education. From the results above, it can be seen that there is a correlation between the level of parental education and the correlation between parental guidance and student achievement in Geography lessons
Upaya Meningkatkan Teknik Dasar Long Service Bulu Tangkis dengan Menggunakan Metode Drill pada Siswa Kelas VI MIN 4 Kebumen
Get PDFThis study aims to improve the basic long service technique in badminton among sixth-grade students at MIN 4 Kebumen through the application of the drill method. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The study involved 26 students (9 boys and 17 girls) as subjects. The instruments used were skill tests, observation sheets, and documentation. The results showed a significant improvement in long service skills. The average student score increased from 48.25 in the pre-cycle to 52.10 in the first cycle and 77.17 in the second cycle. Furthermore, the percentage of students reaching the "Good" and "Very Good" categories increased from 12% in the pre-cycle to 77% in the second cycle. These findings highlight the effectiveness of the drill method in badminton learning. This study recommends utilizing the drill method in physical education to enhance students' motor skills

Get PDFThis study is an experimental research with a quantitative approach that aims to determine the influence of economic literacy on students' economic learning outcomes. The population of this study is all students of grade XI of SMA Negeri 12 Bone with samples from class XI-7 as an experimental class and class XI-6 as a control class. The data collection method in this study is test instruments in the form of pretest and posttest. The data were processed by instrument tests in the form of difficulty tests and discriminating power tests, and to answer the research hypothesis, descriptive statistical tests and infernal statistical tests were carried out using normality tests, homogeneity tests and independent sample t-tests. The results of the study showed that economic literacy had a positive effect on the economic learning outcomes of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 12 Bone. This can be proven from the results of the independent sample t-test that has been carried out, a sig value (2-tailed) < 0.05, which is 0.000 and a t-value calculated > t table or 7,536 > 1.99773

Get PDFThis research uses this type of research quantitative with a one group pretest posttest research design. As for location research, namely at SMPN 2 Amali. The population of this research is class VIII SMPN 2 Amali while the sample for this study was class VIII A. Internal variables this research uses two variables, namely the independent variable is jigsaw type cooperative and the dependent variable is student learning outcomes. Instrument this research is a test sheet using pretest and posttest. Data analysis using the normality test and hypothesis testing using the SPSS 26 program. Referring to the average score on student learning outcomes, the pretest score is 42.05 and after being given treatment, the posttest score increased to reach 84.80. Because of this jigsaw type cooperative learning model, students can provide explanations and provide conclusions. This shows that the jigsaw type cooperative learning model provides a significant influence on student learning outcomes

Penerapan Teknologi Digital dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam
Get PDFThis research aims to analyze the application of digital technology in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and its impact on learning effectiveness. With the development of technology, PAI learning methods have undergone a transformation from a conventional approach to a more interactive digital-based approach. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach by analyzing various related literature. The research results show that the use of digital technology, such as learning applications, interactive videos, and e-learning platforms, increases students' interest in learning, deepens understanding of the material, and allows more active interaction between teachers and students. However, challenges such as limited access to technology and the readiness of teaching staff in managing digital learning are still obstacles that need to be overcome. Therefore, to optimize the use of technology in PAI learning, synergy between teachers, schools, parents and the government is needed. Teachers must improve their digital competence, schools need to provide supporting facilities, and the government must design policies that accelerate the integration of technology in the PAI curriculum. Apart from that, regulations regarding digital content used in learning must also be considered so that it remains in accordance with Islamic values
Pengembangan e-LKPD Larutan Penyangga Berbasis Guided Inquiry Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik
Get PDFThis study aims to develop a guided inquiry-based buffer solution e-LKPD to improve students' critical thinking skills. e-LKPD is designed to be more interesting, interactive and practical by utilizing digital technology in learning. The development model used is the Lee & Owens development model, with 5 stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instruments include teacher interview sheets, student needs questionnaires, material expert validation questionnaires, media expert validation questionnaires, teacher assessments and student response questionnaires. The trial was conducted on 10 grade XI phase F students. The results of the e-LKPD development research were declared valid and suitable for use in learning. The assessment by the material validator obtained a score of 0.83 in the feasible category. The media validator gave a score of 0.87 in the feasible category. The teacher's assessment showed a score of 4.3 included in the very feasible category. The trial to students showed a level of effectiveness with an N-gain value of 0.61 in the moderate category. Students gave a positive response with a value of 88% in the very good category. This guided inquiry-based e-LKPD has been proven to be valid, feasible and effective in improving students' critical thinking skills
