METODE DAKWAH BIL-HIKMAH KIAI HAJI HASYIM ASY’ARI DALAM FILM SANG KIAI : ANALISIS SEMIOTIKA ROLAND BARTHES
This study examines the representation of K.H. Hasyim Asy\u27ari\u27s da\u27wah bil-hikmah method in the film Sang Kiai (2013) by Rako Prijanto. Da\u27wah bil-hikmah is understood as a da\u27wah approach that emphasizes wisdom, exemplary behavior, and persuasive communication in accordance with the social context. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with Roland Barthes\u27s semiotic analysis to identify the denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings that represent the practice of da\u27wah bil-hikmah in the film\u27s storyline, characters, and moral message. The results show that the film Sang Kiai represents K.H. Hasyim Asy\u27ari as a scholar and leader who implements da\u27wah bil-hikmah through four main approaches: wisdom in taking action, gentle persuasion, moral example, and utilizing social and cultural contexts as a means of da\u27wah. These findings confirm that film can function as an effective da\u27wah medium in conveying Islamic values in a contextual and moderate manner

The results of the discussion of this research are the discussion in maqasid sharia, there are several supporting components, such as Hifzu Addin, Hifzu An-nafs, Al-aql, An-nasl, and Al-mal. evaluation of the impact of downstream policies cannot be separated from moral and ethical elements, especially in Indonesia, where the majority of people are Muslim. By considering the perspective of sharia, which emphasizes the principles of justice, sustainability, and social responsibility, it is important to determine whether the implementation of industrial downstreaming policies is in line with sharia values that include economic justice, environmental preservation, and community development
ISTIKHDAM CHATGPT WA GOOGLE TRANSLATE FI TARJAMATI KITAB TA’LIM AL MUTA’ALLIM
The translation of Arabic texts in the contemporary era faces increasingly complex challenges alongside the development of science, technology, and global socio-cultural dynamics. These challenges are not only linguistic in nature, but also cultural, ideological, methodological, and technological. This research aims to analyze the accuracy of classical Arabic text translation in the book Ta\u27lim al-Muta\u27allim through ChatGPT and Google Translate. This study was conducted at STIT Darussalamin NW Praya, Central Lombok, using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained through analysis of translation results from both platforms on selected texts, as well as through interviews with students who use both tools in learning activities, and interviews with lecturers who frequently use these platforms. The research findings indicate that Google Translate excels in speed and ease of access, but tends to produce literal translations that are less contextually accurate. Meanwhile, ChatGPT is capable of providing more contextual and communicative translations, although it requires additional instructions from users in directing the desired results. This research concludes that the use of ChatGPT has higher accuracy as a supporting tool for translating classical Arabic texts, but still requires validation from language experts or supervising lecturers
STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT BASED ON TRI HITA KARANA A BALINESE LOCAL WISDOM APPROACH TO EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION DEVELOPMENT
This research seeks to examine the applicability of the Balinese philosophy Tri Hita Karana (THK) which embodies the principles of harmony with God (parahyangan), humanity (pawongan), and nature (palemahan), as a conceptual foundation for developing strategic management in education. It addresses typical challenges such as misalignment between institutional strategies and core values, ineffective stakeholder engagement, and the lack of sustainability in school governance. This investigation relied on a qualitative synthesis of existing literature, encompassing journal publications, authoritative texts, and policy documents that discuss strategic management, leadership, and the principles of THK. A thematic content analysis was conducted to trace the conceptual interconnections between THK principles and strategic management practices. Results indicate that THK acts as a unifying foundation, bringing together spiritual, social, and ecological principles in the formulation of institutional strategies. Such integration encourages ethical leadership, inclusiveness in governance, and continuity in organizational sustainability. The study argues that THK extends beyond its traditional context, forming a strategic approach that reinforces institutional ethics and adaptability. Furthermore, this research contributes to the development of a contextually grounded theory of educational strategic management and calls for empirical validation through future field-based investigations
Teachers\u27 Perceptions and Challenges: Evaluating TOEFL Training in an Islamic Boarding School: English
In response to the growing importance of English language proficiency in professional contexts, teacher training for widely used standardized proficiency test such as Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) has become increasingly essential. Despite the growing number of training, there remains limited understanding of how teachers perceive these programs and what challenges they face in applying the training outcomes to their daily practices. This study aimed to examine teachers’ perceptions of a TOEFL preparation training program and the challenges they encountered in applying its outcomes. An explanatory mixed-methods design was employed, involving 40 teachers from elementary, junior high, and high school levels at an Islamic boarding school in Indonesia. Quantitative data on teachers’ perceptions of the training program and qualitative data on the challenges they experienced were collected through a questionnaire combining closed- and open-ended items. The quantitative data were analyzed descriptively to illustrate the levels of teachers’ knowledge and perceptions, while the qualitative data were analyzed using a thematic approach. The findings revealed that teachers generally held positive perceptions toward the TOEFL preparation training program. However, several challenges emerged in applying the training outcomes, including institutional and environmental challenges, teacher-related challenges, and issues of professional development and sustainability
Need Analysis on English as Professional Skills for Students of Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education: English
This study seeks to analyze the professional English skill requirements of third-semester students in the Islamic Elementary Teacher Education program at the Islamic Institute of Riyadlotul Mujahidin Ngabar Ponorogo and to design an effective English learning framework that is suitable for their professional preparation. The research specifically addresses the linguistic competencies needed by future Islamic elementary teachers in their workplace contexts. A qualitative descriptive design was applied, involving questionnaires, interviews, and document reviews to collect data from students, lecturers, and relevant stakeholders. The results demonstrate that English proficiency plays a vital role in preparing students to teach English for young learners (TEYL). Students are required to enhance their communicative abilities, particularly in classroom interaction, academic writing, and accessing English-based TEYL resources. Furthermore, the study reveals a noticeable gap between the existing curriculum and the actual linguistic demands in educational practice. The learning situation analysis emphasizes the importance of developing all English language skills for professional readiness. Therefore, the proposed English learning model integrates mastery of language components with communicative learning strategies through authentic audio-visual materials. Activities such as listening, vocabulary enrichment, dialogue practice, peer learning, and role play are essential to encourage active use of English and foster students’ teaching competence
Peran Sukuk dalam Mendorong Pembangunan Ekonomi Berbasis Syariah
Sukuk merupakan salah satu instrumen keuangan syariah yang berkembang pesat dan memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung pembangunan ekonomi berbasis syariah. Berbeda dengan obligasi konvensional, sukuk didasarkan pada prinsip kepemilikan atas aset riil serta terbebas dari unsur riba, gharar, dan maysir.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran sukuk dalam mendorong pembangunan ekonomi berbasis syariah di Indonesia, khususnya dari aspek pembiayaan pembangunan, penguatan sektor riil, dan pemerataan kesejahteraan.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur melalui penelusuran jurnal ilmiah, buku referensi, regulasi, dan laporan resmi terkait sukuk dan pembangunan ekonomi syariah.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sukuk berperan signifikan sebagai sumber pembiayaan alternatif yang berkelanjutan, mampu memperkuat stabilitas sistem keuangan, serta mendukung pencapaian tujuan maqashid syariah. Dengan demikian, pengembangan sukuk perlu terus didorong melalui penguatan regulasi, inovasi produk, dan peningkatan literasi keuangan syariah agar kontribusinya terhadap pembangunan ekonomi nasional semakin optimal
Analisis Akuntansi Pembiayaan Mudharabah Berdasarkan PSAK 105 Di BMT Maslahah Lil Ummah Sukowono Jember
Indonesia sebagai negara penduduk muslim terbesar di dunia memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan system keuangan syariah. Namun, dibalik pesatnya pertumbuhan sektor keuangan syariah yang ada saat ini, lembaga keuangan syariah justru lebih memilih memberikan pembiayaan yang berbasis non bagi hasil seperti murabahah ketimbang pembiayaan berbasis bagi hasil seperti mudharabah, dibanding mudharabah, akad murabahah masih mendominasi hingga 60% pada produk perbankan syariah di Indonesia. Untuk jenis pembiayaan murabahah mencapai 40,887 milyar sementara untuk pembiayaan mudharabah hanya 8,767 milyar. Mudharabah merupakan akad kerja sama usaha antara pemilik dana dengan pengelola dana dimana keuntungan dibagi sesuai nisbah yang disepakati, sedagkan kerugian di tanggung pemilik modal (shahibul maal) selama kerugian itu bukan akibat kelalaian pengelola (mudharib).Seandainya kerugian itu diakibatkan karena kecurangan atau kelalaian si pengelola (mudharib), maka mudharib harus bertanggung jawab bagi mereka yang memiliki banyak harta akan lebih mudah dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya, tetapi sebaliknya bagi yang memiliki sedikit harta akan mengalami kesulitan dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya dan bagi mereka yang tidak dapat memproduktifkan suatu usaha, yaitu bisnis dengan bagi hasil, PSAK 105 ditetapkan untuk entitas yang malakukan transaksi mudharabah baik sebagai pemilik dana ataupun pengelola dana. Namun PSAK 105 tidak mencakup pengatura perlakuan akuntansi atas obligasi syariah (sukuk) yang pengelola dana PSAK 105 mengatur perlakuan akuntansi untuk transaksi mudharabah baik bagi pemilik dana maupun pengelola dana, PSAK 105 ini mencangkup pengakuan, pengukuran, penyajian, dan pengungkapan transaksi mudharabah. Ruang lingkup berlaku untuk pemilik dana maupun pengelola dana Berdsarkan hal tersebut penelitian berfokus pada permasalahan tentang: Bagaimana perlakuan akuntansi pembiayaan mudharabah di BMT Maslahah Lil Ummah Sukowono Jember. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif sedangakan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan, data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data primer dan data sekunder, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga metode yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah redukasi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa akuntansi pembiayaan mudharabah, dalam perlakuan akuntansi pembiayaan mudharabah terdapat tahapan-tahapan dalam melakukan pengakuan pembiayaan mudharabah yakni, pengakuan investasi, pengakuan kerugian, pengakuan keuntungan, pengukuran, pengungkapan, dan penyajia
Instrumen Pasar Modal Konvensional dan Pasar Modal Syariah di Indonesia
Pasar modal merupakan lembaga keuangan yang mempertemukan emiten dengan investor. Baik pasar modal konvensional maupun syariah keduanya telah berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan perekonomian nasional. Melalui instrumen yang diperdagangkan pasar modal mampu mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi, serta memfasilitasi efesiensi alokasi modal. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang instrumen yang ada pada pasar modal konvensional dan pasar modal syariah. Metode penelitiannya menggunakan library research dengan mengkaji beberapa buku, jurnal, dokumen dan lain-lain yang relevan dengan topik yang diangkat. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan bahwa instrumen yang ada pada pasar modal konvensional yaitu berupa saham, obligasi, reksadana dan sekuritas derivatif. Sedangkan instrumen yang ada pada pasar modal syariah yaitu berupa saham syariah, sukuk atau obligasi syariah, serta reksadana syariah. Karakteristik instrumen pasar modal syariah adalah berbasis akad syariah serta membiayai bisnis yang sesuai dengan prinsip syariah.
 
The Effects of Non-Digital Gamification on Grade 11 Students’ Mathematics Achievement and Motivation in Learning Rational Exponents
The study used a quasi-experimental design to examine how non-digital gamified instruction influenced the learning of rational exponents. The objectives of this study were to investigate the effects of non-digital gamification on students’ mathematics achievement and to explore their motivation and engagement in learning rational exponents. The study involved 30 Grade 11 students, and both achievement and motivation in mathematics were examined. Thirty students completed six sessions of gamified mathematics activities. The course modules included gamified components such as games, rewards, peer competition, and achievement goals. The pedagogy was based on Self-Determination Theory and Constructivist Learning Theory. It highlighted autonomy, competence, and involvement. The learning outcome test comprised 15 open-ended items assessing four cognitive domains: knowledge, comprehension, application, and analysis. The data was analysed using a paired-samples t-test. Post-test scores (M = 8.19, SD = 2.80) were significantly higher than pre-test scores (M = 6.44, SD = 3.62), t(29) = 5.99, p < .001. It was an educationally meaningful improvement (effect size, Cohen’s d = 0.54). Qualitative reflections confirmed the quantitative findings. Students reported that the game-based activities increased their interest and attention. They also noted better relationship-building and stronger cooperation during the lessons. Altogether, the results support the notion that classroom gamification provides an effective mechanism for enhancing students’ academic achievement and motivation without relying on digital technology. The findings of this study suggest that non-digital gamification is a useful pedagogical method for advancing mathematics achievement at the upper secondary level
