    The Influence of Reading Text Activities on Students’ English Speaking Ability at SMA Islam Al Fanisa Raas: English

    This Research investigated the influence of reading text activities on students’ English speaking ability at SMA Islam Al Fanisa Raas. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design was employed. The participants consisted of 22 senior high school students. Data were collected through speaking tests administered before and after the implementation of reading text activities. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired sample t-test. The results revealed a significant improvement in students’ speaking performance after the treatment. The mean pre-test score was 61.36, while the mean post-test score increased to 74.18, indicating a mean gain of 12.82 points. Individual gain scores ranged from 13 to 15 points, demonstrating consistent improvement across all participants. The paired sample t-test confirmed that the difference between pre-test and post-test scores was statistically significant at the 0.05 level, indicating that the observed improvement was attributable to the implementation of reading text activities. These findings suggest that reading text activities provide effective linguistic input and support students in developing speaking ability by enhancing vocabulary use, idea organization, and oral confidence. Therefore, integrating reading-based activities into speaking instruction is recommended as an effective strategy for improving students’ English speaking ability in EFL senior high school contexts

    Speaking ability in English is an essential communicative skill in responding to the demands of globalization; however, it remains a challenge for students in Indonesia, particularly at the Madrasah Aliyah level in rural areas. Low student participation in speaking English and the dominance of conventional teaching methods indicate the need for a more communicative and contextual learning approach. Therefore, this study aims to explore and describe the implementation of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) in improving students’ speaking ability at Madrasah Aliyah Ittihadul Bayan Telaga Lebur Sekotong. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation, and were analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that the implementation of CLT through communicative activities such as pair work, group discussions, and role play was able to enhance students’ courage, activeness, and self-confidence in speaking English. In addition, CLT created a more collaborative classroom atmosphere and encouraged students to perceive speaking as a process of communication rather than mere memorization. This study concludes that CLT is effectively implemented in the Madrasah Aliyah context and provides important implications for the development of more communicative English language teaching. Future research is recommended to examine the implementation of CLT in a broader madrasah context and to combine qualitative and quantitative approaches in order to obtain a more comprehensive understanding

    Persepsi etis merupakan sikap yang dimiliki seorang akuntan dalam menghadapi suatu kejanggalan dalam bekerja secara professional. Persepsi etis menjelaskan tentang suatu sikap seseorang bagaimana menilai suatu kejadian atau perilaku pelanggran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan utnuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh pengetahuan etika dan religiusitas terhadap persepsi etis mahasiswa akuntansi syariah. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada para responden. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Akuntansi Syariah Universitas Ibrahimy. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh 65 sampel. Penelitian menunjukkan hasil bahwa variabel pengetahuan etika dan religiusitas memiliki pengaruh terhadap persepsi etis mahasiswa akuntansi syariah

    Sharia management in the business world emphasizes the application of Islamic values that are in line with business objectives, one of which is through the principle of actuating that focuses on mobilizing and motivating human resources. The application of this principle can be observed in the practice of campus culinary MSMEs, particularly the Mr. A Canteen at the Trunojoyo University of Madura Dormitory. Since its establishment in 2014, this canteen has been able to survive for more than a decade with a simple but effective strategy, namely personal capital without usury, friendly service, affordable prices, and guaranteed halal products. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach through interviews and direct observation. The results show that the actuating principle is reflected in the involvement of family members as workers, harmonious work management, and service strategies that build customer loyalty. These efforts show that resource mobilization is carried out not only for economic gain but also for the sake of business blessings in accordance with sharia guidance. The application of sharia management in Mr. A canteen MSME provides evidence that the actuating principle can be implemented in small businesses. The integration of spiritual values and daily business practices makes this business not only economically beneficial but also supports the creation of competitive halal businesses

    The digital transformation of Islamic schools demands new methods of assessing learning outcomes that are fast, transparent, and grounded in spiritual values. SD Islam Al Azhar Kelapa Gading Surabaya utilizes the My Alazka platform to manage Islamic Religious Education assessments online. This study focuses on how the system is implemented and its impact on teachers and students A qualitative case-study approach was employed through interviews, observations, and documentation, with data analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the use of My Alazka simplifies test management, accelerates grading, and presents learning results in real time. Teachers act as digital murabbīs, instilling honesty, responsibility, and justice throughout the assessment process. Students feel more motivated as they can immediately view their progress through an interactive digital interface. Overall, the implementation of My Alazka demonstrates an effective integration between technological efficiency and Islamic values such as amanah (trustworthiness), ‘adl (justice), and ihsan (excellence) in PAI learning within the digital era.Transformasi digital di sekolah Islam menuntut cara baru dalam menilai hasil belajar yang cepat, transparan, dan tetap berlandaskan nilai-nilai spiritual. SD Islam Al Azhar Kelapa Gading Surabaya memanfaatkan platform My Alazka untuk mengelola asesmen PAI secara daring. Kajian ini berfokus pada bagaimana sistem tersebut diterapkan dan dampaknya bagi guru serta siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan My Alazka mempermudah pengelolaan soal, mempercepat koreksi, serta menampilkan hasil belajar secara real-time. Guru berperan sebagai murabbī digital yang menanamkan kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan keadilan selama proses asesmen. Siswa merasa lebih termotivasi karena dapat langsung melihat perkembangan nilainya melalui tampilan digital yang interaktif. Secara keseluruhan, implementasi My Alazka memperlihatkan perpaduan efektif antara efisiensi teknologi dan nilai Islam seperti amanah, ‘adl, dan ihsan dalam pembelajaran PAI di era digital

    Menghafal Al-Qur’an tidak semudah yang kita bayangkan tidak hanya proses kognitif tetapi perlu juga adanya regulasi diri yang positif. Kurangnya regulasi diri dan motivasi dalam menyelesaiakan hafalan Al-Qur’an bisa menganggu proses penyelesaian hafalan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara statistik korelasi regulasi diri dengan motivasi penyelesaian hafalan Al-Qur’an santri tahfidz Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Sukorejo Situbondo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasinya sebesar 650, sampel 248 santri dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuisoner. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas dan uji linieritas, serta uji korelasi sebagai uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa regulasi diri memiliki korelasi yang positif dengan motivasi penyelesaian hafalan Al-Qur’an, baik itu secara simultan ataupun secara parsial yaitu dengan nilai taraf signifikansi yang memiliki besaran < 0,05 dari hasil koefisien pun menunjukkan bahwa regulasi diri dengan motivasi penyelesaian hafalan Al-Qur’an nilai Pearson Correlation diperoleh hasil sebesar 0,432 yang mengindikasikan bahwa dua variabel tergolong dalam korelasi sedang

    THE EFFECTIVENESS OF INTERACTIVE LEARNING APPLICATIONS IN ENHANCING STUDENTS’ ARABIC VOCABULARY MASTERY: A META-ANALYSIS

    This study adopts a quantitative research approach using a meta-analytic method to examine the effectiveness of interactive learning applications in improving students’ Arabic vocabulary mastery. The independent variable is the use of interactive learning applications, while the dependent variable is students’ Arabic vocabulary acquisition. Educational level, class size, and application type were analyzed as moderator variables. The data set consisted of 25 experimental studies published between 2019 and 2025 that met the predetermined inclusion criteria. Data analysis was conducted using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) software to calculate the pooled effect size and examine moderator effects. The results indicate a combined effect size of 0.86, categorized as large, with effect sizes ranging from 0.245 to 2.772, most of which fall within the large to very large categories. Moderator analysis revealed no statistically significant differences based on educational level, class size, or application type, although higher effectiveness was observed at the junior and senior high school levels and in gamification-based applications. These findings demonstrate that interactive learning applications have a strong and significant impact on Arabic vocabulary acquisition and provide empirical support for their integration into more effective Arabic language learning strategies

    KOLABORASI GURU PAI DAN GURU BK DALAM PENGUATAN KARAKTER SISWA DI SMAN 2 TELUKJAMBE TIMUR

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta dampak kolaborasi antara guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) dalam penguatan karakter siswa di SMAN 2 Telukjambe Timur. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi antara guru PAI dan BK berjalan secara sinergis melalui berbagai kegiatan seperti pembinaan karakter, penanganan kasus siswa, pendampingan spiritual, program guru wali, serta kegiatan parenting. Faktor pendukung kolaborasi meliputi komunikasi yang harmonis, kesamaan visi dalam pembentukan karakter, dukungan struktural dari sekolah, dan pendekatan humanis guru BK. Adapun faktor penghambatnya adalah keterbatasan jumlah guru BK, belum adanya forum kolaborasi formal, persepsi negatif sebagian siswa terhadap layanan BK, serta padatnya beban kerja guru. Dampak kolaborasi ini tampak dalam meningkatnya religiusitas, tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, empati sosial, dan kesejahteraan psikologis siswa, serta terbentuknya budaya sekolah yang religius dan humanis. Dengan demikian, kolaborasi guru PAI dan BK terbukti berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa secara holistik melalui integrasi nilai spiritual dan pendekatan psikologis. This study aims to analyze the forms, supporting and inhibiting factors, and impact of collaboration between Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in strengthening student character at SMAN 2 Telukjambe Timur. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that collaboration between PAI and BK teachers runs synergistically through various activities such as character building, handling student cases, spiritual guidance, parenting programs, and parenting activities. Supporting factors for collaboration include harmonious communication, a shared vision in character building, structural support from the school, and the humanistic approach of BK teachers. Inhibiting factors are the limited number of BK teachers, the absence of a formal collaboration forum, negative perceptions of some students towards BK services, and the dense workload of teachers. The impact of this collaboration is seen in increased religiosity, responsibility, discipline, social empathy, and psychological well-being of students, as well as the formation of a religious and humanistic school culture. Thus, collaboration between PAI and BK teachers has been proven to play an important role in shaping student character holistically through the integration of spiritual values and psychological approaches

    Analisis Pelaporan Keuangan Pondok Pesantren Berdasarkan Pedoman Akuntansi Pesantren (Studi Kasus Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Madinatul Ulum 2 Jember)

    Pondok pesantren merupakan entitas nirlaba dan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan, sampai saat ini pondok pesantren di Indonesia masih banyak memakai laporan keuangan yang sederhana. dengan itu BI bekerja sama dengan IAI menerbitkan pedoman akuntansi pesantren (PAP). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk; (1) Untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dalam penyusunan Laporan Keuangan yang sesuai dengan standart yang berlaku umum, (2) Memberikan pengetahuan tentang bagaimana melakukan penyusunan Laporan Keuangan Pondok Pesantren berbasis teknologi system infromasi yang sesuai dengan aturan akuntansi pesantren. Dan permasalahan yang terjadi pada yayasan pondok pesantren Madinatul Ulum 2 Jember yaitu sumber daya manusia yang paham akan ilmu tata cara penyusunan laporan keuangan pesantren yang sesuai dengan pedoman pesantren. Dalam hal mematuhi peraturan yang berlaku yayasan pondok pesantren Madinatul Ulum 2 Jember tidak melaporkan laporan keuangan yang sesuai dengan pedoman akuntansi pesantren. Komponen dalam pedoman akuntansi pesantren mencakup laporan posisi keuangan, laporan aktivitas, laporan arus kas, dan catatan atas laporan keuangan. Dari hasil penelitian ini tidak menunjukkan bahwasanya yayasan pondok pesantren Madinatul Ulum 2 Jember belum menerapkan komponen pedoman akuntansi pesantren dalam proses penyusunan laporan keuangan pesantren melainkan hanya penerimaan dan pengeluaran kas saja yang dilaporkan. Sampai saat ini pondok pesantren hanya memakai laporan keuangan yang sederhana karena belum memahami betul tentang pedoman akuntansi pesantren, disebabkan kurangnya pengetahuan dan informasi tentang pedoman akuntansi pesantren Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini di laksanakan di Yayasan pondok pesantren Madinatul Ulum 2 Jember sebagai salah satu pondok pesantren yang terletak di Kabupaten Jember

    This study examines the symbolic communication meaning of Sufi dance at the Salafiyah Syafi\u27iyah Islamic Boarding School in Sukorejo, Situbondo. The method used in this study is qualitative, employing a case study approach. Sufi dance, commonly called Sema, is a sacred art form performed by some Sufis or Dervishes as they pursue the divine path to attain serenity, peace, and harmony of the soul. In the context of this research, we discuss a comprehensive overview of Islamic artistic practice, using systematic language for easy and comprehensive understanding. This approach aims to gain deeper insight into the data and information regarding Sufi dance performed at the Salafiyah Syafi\u27iyah Islamic Boarding School in Sukorejo, Situbondo. The results indicate that the Sufi dance represented is a mystical dance closely associated with spiritual meanings, reflected in several symbols within the dance process, such as the position of the hands raised upward as a symbol of prayer, and the position of the hands crossed over the chest, a symbol of shame
