PERAN PENGAWAS SEKOLAH DALAM IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN STRATEGIK UNTUK PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI GURU DI SDN KABUPATEN BANJAR
The quality of basic education is greatly influenced by teacher competence, which in its implementation requires a strategic role of school supervisors. This study aims to examine how elementary school supervisors in Banjar Regency implement strategic management in improving teacher competence. A qualitative case study approach was used with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of the study indicate that supervisors carry out their roles as strategic planners, supervisors based on mentoring, and evaluators of periodic coaching programs. A dialogic and collaborative supervision approach improves teacher professionalism, especially in learning planning. The main challenges are administrative burdens and time constraints, but can be overcome through collaboration with the principal. The strategic management implemented by supervisors has a positive impact on improving teacher competence and supports the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum more effectively. These findings are relevant for the development of policies for fostering educational human resources in the regions
EFEKTIVITAS IMPLEMENTASI PENANGANAN LAPORAN MALADMINISTRASI DI OMBUDSMAN RI PERWAKILAN JAWA TIMUR
Maladministration in public service delivery remains a critical issue in establishing a responsive and accountable bureaucracy. The Indonesian Ombudsman serves as an oversight institution tasked with addressing public complaints related to suspected administrative misconduct. This study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The research was conducted at the East Java Regional Office of the Indonesian Ombudsman. Field findings indicate that the effectiveness of maladministration complaint handling still encounters several challenges, including limited resources, low public participation, and suboptimal coordination among related institutions. The study applies the implementation framework proposed by Sanford and Moulton, which emphasizes three key indicators: the context of change, core program design, and technical-adaptive challenges. The analysis reveals that although the implementation of complaint handling has shown progress, its overall effectiveness has yet to reach its full potential. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of maladministration complaint handling and to identify the barriers encountered during its implementation at the East Java Office of the Indonesian Ombudsman
PEMANFAATAN PERPUSTAKAAN SEKOLAH DALAM MENUMBUHKAN LITERASI MEMBACA SISWA
Creating a literate generation is difficult; it requires collaboration from all parties. Therefore, instilling the habit of reading is necessary to develop knowledge and understanding of technology and other sciences, all of which students can gain when reading books. One place that can cultivate students' reading interest is the library. This research aims to determine the utilization of the school library in fostering students' reading literacy. The research was conducted at the library of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Kota Cimahi. This study employed a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews and observations. The informants were the school principal and subject teachers. The research results show that teachers actively participate in literacy activities by providing comfortable facilities to cultivate students' reading literacy. The school collaborates with external parties and the regional library to improve service quality. The management of the school library to foster students' reading literacy includes implementing various literacy programs, such as the Friday Numeracy Literacy Program, to encourage students' reading literacy. Policies and support are needed to manage resources efficiently, including inventory and budget allocation
PERSPEKTIF GENDER DALAM NOVEL KARTINI KARYA ABIDAH EL KHALIEQY DAN RELEVANSINYA DENGAN PENGEMBANGAN PEMBELAJARAN SASTRA
Literature learning is a means to provide students with an understanding of gender perspectives. This study aims to describe the forms of gender discrimination that occur in the Kartini novel by Adibah El Khalieqy (2) The relevance of gender perspective studies to literature learning at the secondary school level. This study is a qualitative descriptive study with data collection techniques in the form of reading and note-taking techniques. The data source used in this study is the literary work of the Kartini novel by Adibah El Khalieqy. Data in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences containing statements of gender discrimination in the Kartini novel by Adibah El Khalieqy. Results The results of the study show that 1) Gender discrimination generally occurs in all female characters in the novel. Ngasirah (Kartini's biological mother), Kartini, and Kardinah. Forms of gender discrimination include marginalization, subornation, stereotypes, and violence. 2) The study of feminism in the Kartini novel regarding gender perspective is quite relevant to literature learning at the secondary school level with the Brainstorming learning method
PERAN MANAJEMEN KOMPENSASI DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA PENGAJAR DAN PEMBELAJARAN
Education is a vital aspect in improving the quality of human resources in a country. The performance of teaching and learning is greatly influenced by the motivation and well-being of educators. Compensation management, which includes salary, benefits, and non-financial rewards, plays an important role in enhancing teaching quality. This article aims to examine the role of compensation management in improving teaching and learning performance. The research uses a literature review method by analyzing previous studies on the influence of compensation on teacher motivation and performance. The results of the research indicate that a fair and transparent compensation system can enhance job satisfaction, motivation, and teacher productivity. However, there are challenges in implementing compensation, such as salary disparities, budget limitations, and a lack of non-financial rewards. This study suggests that educational institutions should improve fairness in compensation distribution, consider non-financial rewards, and align compensation with teacher performance to achieve significant improvements in education quality
MANAJEMEN PROGRAM PELATIHAN BAHASA ARAB UNTUK SISWA MTSN 6 PONOROGO : STUDI KASUS PERENCANAAN, PELAKSANAAN, DAN EVALUASI
This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of the intensive Arabic language training program at MTsN 6 Ponorogo, which includes the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. A qualitative approach with descriptive analysis was employed to portray the actual conditions in the field. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the planning stage of the training program comprises nine components: needs analysis, goal setting, budgeting, site selection, determination of materials and syllabus, activity design, and development of the evaluation model. The implementation stage is divided into two phases: pre-activity and core activity. Evaluation is conducted in two aspects: process evaluation and student learning outcome evaluation, which includes pre-tests, class assessments, and post-tests. This program is designed to enhance students’ proficiency in the four basic foreign language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The findings demonstrate that a well-structured and systematic training program can effectively support the improvement of students' Arabic language competence in a secondary education context
ASESMEN YANG EFEKTIF DALAM PERKEMBANGAN BAHASA ANAK USIA DINI
Assessment in early childhood education is an assessment process carried out to determine the improvement of children's development. This study focuses on children's language development. This study aims to identify effective assessment methods in measuring the language development of early childhood at RA Al-Fur'qon Prabumulih. This study is a field study with a descriptive qualitative approach. While the data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Not only that, children aged 4-5 years here already understand simple instructions and are able to answer basic questions given by the teacher. In addition, the results of the study also found that the combination of direct observation in daily activities, the use of portfolios, game-based assessments, and parental involvement are the most effective methods at RA Al-Furqon Prabumulih. These methods are considered capable of providing a comprehensive and natural picture of children's language abilities. However, the use of assessment technology is still limited and needs to be improved. While the inhibiting factor is the lack of collaboration between teachers and parents in the field. So that the assessments carried out only apply in schools. This study implies the need for teacher training and integration of digital technology in improving the quality of early childhood assessment
PENGUATAN NILAI MODERASI BERAGAMA MELALUI SUPERVISI KOLABORATIF PADA GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SMP NEGERI 2 MOJOLABAN
Religious moderation is a strategic program initiated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia, emphasizing the importance of tolerance, fairness, and respect for diversity in religious life. In the educational context, PAI teachers play a central role in transmitting these values through the learning process. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including interviews, classroom observations, and documentation studies. The findings reveal that collaborative supervision at State Junior High School 2 Mojolaban is carried out through joint planning, classroom supervision, and post-teaching reflection. PAI teachers are encouraged to incorporate values of moderation, such as interfaith tolerance, rejection of extremism, and appreciation for cultural and religious diversity. Challenges encountered include limited supervision time and insufficient understanding of religious moderation concepts among some teachers. Nevertheless, collaborative supervision has proven effective in enhancing teachers’ pedagogical awareness and their ability to contextually integrate religious moderation values into the teaching and learning process. This study recommends increased training and ongoing support for PAI teachers to foster a culture of moderate and inclusive education
PROGRAM PENGEMBANGAN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA PESANTREN NURUL IMAN SEBAPO MUARO JAMBI
The importance of the position of Human Resources (HR) in Islamic boarding schools as the subject and object of knowledge transfer between kyai, ustad and students, requires improvement in quantity and quality. This study found a HR improvement program at the Nurul Iman Sebapo Muaro Jambi Islamic Boarding School, which was studied through a qualitative approach with in-depth observation and structured interviews. The HR development program of the Nurul Iman Sebapo Islamic Boarding School runs in a structured and comprehensive manner, such as massive promotion both in study groups and social media, analyzing HR needs, providing training to improve the abilities of students, and involving the community in Islamic boarding school activities. The improvement of teaching HR is carried out through training activities, increasing literature support, and policies on the use of facilities. The superior student programs of the Islamic boarding school are memorizing the Al-Qur'an, the weton and sorogan learning methods, and uniting the salaf and kholaf Islamic boarding school systems. The Islamic boarding school provides literature support that can be used by students and teachers
STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN KARIR GURU PAI
This study aims to analyze career development strategies for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in facing the challenges of globalization and technology. Today, teachers are no longer merely holders of professional titles; they must also be professional in their field. Professionalism plays a significant role in the success of the teaching and learning process, thereby improving the quality of education in Indonesia. Through career development strategies, teachers can adapt to changing times, particularly in the face of advances in educational technology and curriculum changes. The research method used in this paper is a library research approach, compiling various relevant literature, such as books and journals of national and international standards. The results indicate that career development for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers can be achieved in the short, medium, and long term through various self-development activities such as training, seminars, certification, and scientific research
