No full textThis research is motivated by phenomena such as some teachers who enter class not on time, some teachers do not fulfill teaching hours, some teachers leave their assignments during working hours, some teachers are late in making the realization of the work program that has been implemented. set. This study aims to analyze the contribution of two independent variables, namely the principal's leadership and organizational culture, and the dependent variable is teacher discipline at SDN Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. To obtain the data needed, the writer uses descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential analysis. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that 1) There is a significant and positive influence between the principal's leadership on teacher discipline at SDN Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This means that the better the principal's leadership, the better the teacher's discipline in carrying out their duties. 2) There is a significant and positive influence between organizational culture on teacher discipline at SDN Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This means that teacher discipline can be improved through a conducive organizational culture. 3) There is a joint influence of the principal's leadership and organizational culture on teacher discipline at SDN Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. No full textThis study aims to determine the effect of variables (1) workload on teacher work stress levels, (2) dual role conflict on teacher work stress levels, (3) workload and dual role conflict together on teacher work stress levels. The research respondents were principals of public elementary schools in Tanjung Medan District, Rokan Hilir Regency, totaling 148 people with a sample of 108. The data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires as research instruments. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The instrument reliability coefficient was calculated using the Cronbach alpha formula. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of workload on the teacher's work stress level of 0.517, there was a positive and significant influence of dual role conflict on the teacher's work stress level of 0.458. Meanwhile, together there is an effect of workload and dual role conflict on the teacher's work stress level of 0.54

No full textThe purpose of this research was to determine the high order thinking skills of Students in SMPN 4 Pariaman. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects consisted of 6 grade VII.1 students consisting of 2 high-ability, 2 moderate and 2 low-level students based on the score of assignments and daily tests from the mathematics teacher. Data analysis was in the form of analysis of students' test abilities, analysis ability in aspects of knowledge according to Bloom Taxonomy and interview analysis. The data validity test was done by using triangulation technique. The results of the test research show that the Bloom Taxonomic percentage of the increase with the average Bloom Taxonomy level of C4, C5, and C6 is 87.21%, 70.27%, 57.91%, respectively. This is the ability students have in solving problems that require higher-order thinking skills

No full textThis study describes how to foster multicultural education values at SDN 54 Anak Air. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Research data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data is done by triangulation of data sources. The research findings show that the interaction of students from different cultures in grades one, two and three tends to be awkward and closed. Meanwhile, the interaction at the further grade level is very intimate and tends to be open. The interaction of students with students from different cultures has shown an appreciation for cultural differences. So that in the interaction the values of multicultural education have been built, namely the value of tolerance and the value of equality. The interaction of teachers with students of different cultures shows the development of the values of multicultural education, namely the value of tolerance, democracy, the value of equality and the value of justice. Activities held at SDN 54 Anak Air both in-class and out-of-class activities at SDN 54 Anak Air have included the values of multicultural education. The understanding of the teachers at SDN 54 Anak Air towards multicultural education is theoretically still lacking, however in their actions and treating students of different cultures it contains the values of multicultural education

This study describes the effect of clinical supervision and academic supervision of principals on teacher performance in state junior high school 3 Rambang Dangku Muara Enim Regency. This study uses quantitative methods. Techniques and data collection procedures through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Based on the data analysis, the conclusion is 1) there is a clue to clinical supervision of teacher performance, meaning that clinical supervision can renew teacher performance. 2) There is an effect of principal academic supervision on teacher performance. 3) there are clinical supervision and academic supervision of principals on teacher performance, thus teaching skills and work motivation collectively on teacher performance. Clinical supervision and academic supervision of principals are able to affect teacher performance with a contribution of 24.1

No full textMathematical disposition is an attitude that students need as students to survive in facing problems, take responsibility in their learning, and develop good work habits in mathematics. However, the mathematical disposition of STKIP Pesisir Selatan students while attending basic statistics lectures is still far from expectations. For this reason, a learning model is needed to overcome them. One model that can be used is problem based learning. The purpose of this study is to find out how to increase the mathematical disposition of STKIP Pesisir Selatan students in basic statistics courses before and after learning problem based learning and whether the improvement is significant. All populations were sampled, namely students of mathematics and ICT education courses taking basic statistics courses in the even semester 2018/2019. This type of research is Quasi Exspriment with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The research data were obtained from a questionnaire given before and after the experiments were carried out. Data analysis used N-gain test to measure the increase in mathematical disposition and continued by paired sample t test to see the significance of the increase. The results of the analysis show that the increase in mathematical disposition of STKIP Pesisir Selatan students with the application of problem based learning in basic statistical subjects has increased quite well, but the increase that occurred was not significant
