UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS XI IPA SMAN 1 PAINAN MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN TTW
No full textMathematical communication is very important for students to have. But in fact, based on the observations made, there are still many students who have low mathematical communication skills. This is known based on interviews with several teachers who teach in high schools. For this reason, researchers carried out a treatment by applying a learning strategy that aims to be able to improve students' mathematical communication abilities. This type of research is classroom action research. The class where the research was conducted was class XI IPA 5 at SMAN 1 Painan which consisted of 30 students. Based on the test results, observation and data analysis as well as discussion in the study, it was obtained 1) The average test score in cycle I was 70.71 and cycle II was 81.93. The percentage of class completeness in cycle I was 19.28%. and cycle II of 19.28%. This shows that students' mathematical communication skills in writing have increased but have not yet reached the specified indicators. 2) The total average score of mathematical communication skills in the first cycle was 2.17 in the fairly good category and in the second cycle was 4.78 in the very good category. This shows that students' mathematical communication skills have increased and have reached the specified indicators. 3) The total average score of the results of the KBM observations in the first cycle was 3.04 in the good category and in the second cycle was 4.28 in the very good category. This shows that the teacher's ability to apply cooperative learning type think talk write (TTW)

PRINCIPAL CHALLENGES IN IMPLEMENTING INSTRUCTIONAL SUPERVISION DURING THE TRANSITION TO THE NEW NORMAL
No full textThis study explores the challenges that the school principal faced in implementing instructional supervision during the transition period from pandemic era to new normal era. This study uses a qualitative method. This research was conducted at a junior high school in Yogyakarta. The results of this study indicate that during the school transition to the new normal, the principal continues to conduct instructional supervision. The supervision process is carried out using online and face-to-face methods. Principal found various challenges at each stage of supervision. In planning, principal found that there was lack of human resources that are qualified and competent to be a member of instructional supervion team. At the implementation stage, technical problems in the form of poor internet connections available at school made the learning and supervision process became less optimal. Meanwhile, at the follow-up stage, some of programs prepared by the school for teacher competency development were not optimal when that were carried out online

No full textThe purpose of this research is to find out the teacher's response to offline and online learning, especially in the long term as we are currently facing with the Corona Virus (COVID-19) which has not stopped. Through questionnaire response analysis using offline and online learning models, the research sample is teachers who teach at the Vocational High School level, both from public and private schools in the Padang city area. The instrument used is a questionnaire distributed online using the ms.form link. Based on the data obtained that the implementation of offline and online learning has been carried out effectively, it can be seen from the teacher's response to offline and online learning using a learning model, namely 40% of teachers said it was very good, 30% said it was good, 20% said it was not good, and 10% said very not good at processing offline and online learning models. With the results found from the management of educator readiness in offline and online learning in the future, it can be anticipated to be more effective by looking at the shortcomings and obstacles found in the field through this research

Third, analyze the influence of thetechnic Mind Mapping based of Project based Learning Model to the skill of producing statement observation text of grade X students of SMA Ekasakti Padang. This type of research is quantitative research. The research method applied is descriptive method of analysis. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion obtained the following conclusions. First, the skill of producing the statement observation text of the students of class X IPA 1 SMA Ekasakti Padang before applied the technic Mind Mapping based on the model of Project based Learning is in medium qualification with the average value of 64. Second, the skill of producing the statement observation text of the students of class X IPA 1 SMA Ekasakti Padang after the adoption technic Mind Mapping method Based on the Project based Learning model is in good qualification with the average value of 84. Third, the influence of the application of technic Mind Mapping method Based on the Project based Learning model on the skills of producing poetical text after the t-test at the level of 0.95, obtained tcount> ttable or 9.42> 1.70. So H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. No full textThis study aims to produce digital comic media based on cultural diversity in learning energy sources class IV theme II in elementary schools. This type of research is development research (R&D) using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The data in this study were obtained using a questionnaire (questionnaire). The results of the validation carried out by validators and practitioners on digital comic media consisting of 6 aspects of the assessment got an average score of 89.75% with a very valid category. The validation carried out by media experts got a score of 92.31%, the validation carried out by material experts got a score of 86.54%, the validation carried out by linguists got a score of 99.04%, the validation carried out by practitioner I got a score of 82.69 %, and the validation carried out by practitioner II got a score of 93.27%. The subjects of this study were fourth grade elementary school students at SDIT Raudaturrahmah Pekanbaru. The results of the one-to-one trial obtained an average score of 84% by indicating a very feasible category. The results of the limited trial got an average score of 84.81% with a very decent category. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that comics media based on cultural diversity in class IV energy source learning in elementary schools are appropriate for elementary school students

The method used is descriptive qualitative research method, namely research that describes the actual conditions. This research is used to analyze events, phenomena, or social realities by including analysis and interpretation of the problems studied. This research is expected to be able to see how the implementation of learning during the new normal is carried out in accordance with the provisions that apply during the covid 19 period that hit the city of Padang. Data obtained from various sources, data collection techniques through instruments carried out by researchers, such as observation, interviews and documentation. Research subjects are informants, namely people who provide a description of the current situation, namely a social situation or social situation which consists of three elements, namely place (palce), actors (actors), and activities (activity) that interact synergistically. Then the analysis and conclusion, the location of this research in the city of Padang. This study sees that in the implementation of the new normal learning period after being online for a long time, it must follow the applicable rules and careful preparation in the midst of the covid 19 virus siege. No full textMathematics learning outcomes obtained by students of SMP 1 in the Coastal Zone are still low. This happens because the learning process is still teacher-centered. In addition, the lack of mastery of prerequisite material is also one of the obstacles that influence the low student learning outcomes. One effort that can be done to overcome is to use the Think Pair Share learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of Think Pair Share learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The study was conducted in two classes grouped as experimental class and control class. The learning experimental class is done using the Think Pair Share learning model, while the Control learning class is done using the Conventional Model. The research data was obtained from the results of learning tests which data analysis was carried out using the t test. The results of data analysis show that students' mathematical problem solving abilities using learning Think Pair Share learning models are better than students who learn using conventional model

No full textThis study started from the low quality of education, especially in SDN 014 / XI Pelayang Raya District Sungai Bungkal Sungai Penuh River. The purpose of this research is to know the application of principal clinical supervision at SDN 014 / XI Pelayang Raya Kecamatan Sungai Bungkal to improve teacher quality in learning process Year 2016/2017.The subjects in this study were Teachers SDN 014 / XI Pelayang Raya Kecamatan Sungai Bungkal which is where the researcher served as head of school year 2016/2017. Action is implemented in 3 cycles. Activity is carried out in even semester of academic year 2016/2017. Duration of 6 weeks effective study conducted from 5 September to 17 October 2016. In the implementation of the action, the design is done in 3 cycles that include; (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, (4) reflection. In the data collection techniques used are to use observations and questionnaires. Based on the results of the above research, improving the quality of teachers in the learning process, through the guidance of clinical supervision is very good result. This was apparent at the first meeting of the 11 teachers who were present at the time of the study; 67.73% increased to 71.27% and in cycle 3 increased to 75.91%. Based on the Ministerial Regulation No. 12 of 2007 on the competence of teachers and principals, and can make school work plans, and can organize schools towards the desired changes reach 85% achievement, then the clinical supervision is said to be effective. Thus the hypothesis proposed above is acceptabl
