    This study aims to explore the role of visionary leadership in Islamic education and its impact on the character development of students at MTs Negeri 6 Kebumen. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The subjects of the research consist of the school principal, teachers, and students who are directly involved in the implementation of visionary leadership. The results indicate that the application of a value-based vision oriented towards Islamic teachings has successfully created a learning environment that supports the character development of students, as evidenced by improvements in discipline, responsibility, and social awareness among the students. The novelty of this research lies in its deeper focus on the integration of value-based vision in Islamic educational leadership, as well as a holistic approach to building student character. This study is expected to contribute to the development of educational leadership theory and its practices, and to serve as a reference for other educational institutions in implementing effective visionary leadership

    National education is carried out by individuals as an effort to transform towards the overall development of Indonesia through physical and mental activities. Education functions as a concrete action to improve human activities for the better, with education, existing problems will gradually be overcome and can also improve the quality of human life. This study applies a classroom action research approach. The purpose of this research is to evaluate ways to support the improvement of science learning outcomes, especially in the understanding sector, with a reflective, participatory, and collaborative approach in the application of science learning using a role-playing model, which has an impact on children's activities, class dynamics, as well as challenges and problems that arise throughout the science teaching process in the classroom. To achieve this goal, there are four main stages that form the CAR cycle, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The findings of this research are an increase in children's learning outcomes who use the application of the role-playing method for science material at UPT SDN 26 Painan Selatan

    Abstract mathematical concepts, such as the elements of a circle, often pose challenges for students in achieving deep understanding. This study aimed to examine the effect of implementing visual-based learning on students’ learning outcomes in circle material. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design, involving a population of 63 eighth-grade students at UPT SMPN 3 Ranah Pesisir, with a sample of 42 students divided into experimental and control classes. Data were collected using multiple-choice tests and analyzed with an independent two-sample t-test after confirming data normality and homogeneity. The results indicated a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who received visual-based learning and those who received conventional instruction, demonstrating that visual-based learning effectively enhances students’ understanding of abstract circle concepts. These findings provide practical implications for teachers in designing more effective, visually-oriented instructional strategies and contribute theoretically by reinforcing evidence that visualization improves the quality of mathematics learning for materials that require concrete and systematic representation

Through PBL stages such as problem orientation, data collection, group discussions, and presentations, students are encouraged to think critically, creatively, and collaboratively.This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 05 Salido Kecil. This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students due to the lack of active involvement in the learning process. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method of one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study amounted to 18 fifth-grade students. The instruments used were multiple-choice tests, observation sheets, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and t-test. The results showed a significant increase in learning outcomes. The average pretest score of 66 increased to 80 in the posttest. The t-value of 5.833 is greater than the t-table of 1.713 with a significance of 0.052. This indicates that the PBL model has a positive effect on IPAS learning outcomes

    As the first formal educational institution, elementary schools have a significant responsibility in developing the character of their students. At this stage, students are at a crucial stage before continuing their education to a higher level, so strengthening character education is crucial. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education at SD Negeri 29 Rantau Batu Pasar, which includes planning, implementation, evaluation, and strengthening of school culture. The approach used is descriptive qualitative, through interviews with the principal, teachers, students, and parents. The results indicate that the characters of discipline, responsibility, religiosity, mutual cooperation, and integrity are realized through daily habits and activities, teacher collaboration, and support from the school committee. Meanwhile, the main obstacles are consistency of implementation, time constraints, and uneven parental involvement. Recommendations include strengthening planning based on measurable indicators, character assessments, and sustainable school-family-community partnerships

    This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Integrated Service Unit Information System (SIMADU) in improving the quality of public services at the Central Kalimantan Provincial BPMP. The approach used is qualitative with a field study method to assess the effectiveness of SIMADU based on five dimensions of service quality within the SERVQUAL framework. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the ULT Coordinator, statistical analysis of SIMADU data for the period 2018–2025, results of the Community Satisfaction Survey, and a review of operational standard documents. The analysis was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method with triangulation of sources. The results of the study show that SIMADU has proven to be very effective, with a service completion rate of 100% of a total of 1,956 requests and a Community Satisfaction Index of 92.74% in the “Very Good” category. This system provides 24-hour digital services with adaptive multi-channel access, covering all 14 districts/cities, where 63.3% of users are teachers. The novelty of the research lies in the comprehensive evaluation of e-government-based information systems at the provincial level using the SERVQUAL approach over a seven-year period (2018–2025), which resulted in a hybrid strategy model (digital and face-to-face) as a form of inclusive digital transformation that has the potential to be replicated by other education quality assurance institutions in Indonesia

    This study aims to describe the experiences of students, teachers, and researchers at the Darul Ulum Batang Islamic Boarding School. Jet Fighter, as part of the Tajweed textbook, is a learning tool for students. However, it faces challenges in the learning process. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the main difficulties faced by students include a lack of accuracy in pronouncing letters according to the letter's pronunciation, limited facilities and infrastructure, and low use of Rosm Uthmani. The results of the study are: (1) the implementation of the Jet Fighter method in Tajweed learning, implemented in class 1 Wostho A and B (male and female), the Quran recitation process took place from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM with the teacher in the mosque foyer. (2) supporting and inhibiting factors after using the Jet Fighter method in improving understanding of Tajweed, including human resources (HR) and facilities and infrastructure to support the Jet Fighter method. (3) The impact of implementing the jet fighter method on learning the science of tajwid, namely the results felt by the students in the delivery of material, practice, and carefulness in learning

    Objective: This study aims to develop and test the feasibility and practicality of AGEMARA (Jepara Local Wisdom-Based Beginning Reading Application) as an innovative digital learning media to improve the beginning reading literacy skills of second-grade elementary school students. Methods: The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Material, media, and language experts conducted feasibility testing, while practicality testing was obtained through teacher and student responses to the application's use. Results: Validation results showed that media experts at 69.3%, material experts at 80.4%, and language experts at 79.95% deemed AGEMARA feasible based on assessments. Meanwhile, the results of the practicality test showed a very practical category, with a score of 87.3% from teachers and 96.1% from students. The application was deemed attractive, easy to use, and relevant to the local cultural context of Jepara. Novelty: AGEMARA offers innovation in the form of integrating Jepara's local wisdom—including carvings, wayang krucil, and coastal traditions—into Android-based early reading lessons. This integration makes learning contextual and meaningful, and supports the strengthening of character and cultural literacy in elementary school students

    This study aims to analyze and describe the curriculum management of Kulliyatu-l-Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) at Pondok Modern Al Mujahidul Amin Palangka Raya, focusing on three main aspects, namely planning, organizing, and implementing the curriculum. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type conducted from March to November 2025. Data were obtained through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with boarding school leaders, and documentation studies of official curriculum documents. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which includes the processes of condensation, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that curriculum planning is carried out by adopting the KMI Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor system, which is based on spiritual legitimacy and the basic values of Islam, Indonesianness, and pesantren (Islamic boarding school). In the early stages, the boarding school did not conduct its own needs analysis because it focused on preserving the values and traditions of Gontor education, but it remained open to adjustments in line with local developments and needs. The curriculum is organized into three main subject groups, namely Dirāsah Islāmiyyah, Dirāsah Lughawiyyah, and Dirāsah Kauniyyah, with an integrated 24-hour learning system

    This study aims to describe the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) values in teachers’ guidance addresses during flag ceremonies as a medium for shaping students’ Islamic character at Salafiyah Ula Islamic Center Bin Baz (ICBB) Yogyakarta. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving three main informants: Ika Sari Wantika, Lestari Pujiastuti, and Hanifah. The results show that the flag ceremony at Salafiyah Ula ICBB is routinely held every Monday morning with a structured and disciplined arrangement of activities. The teachers’ guidance speeches play an essential role in internalizing Islamic values such as discipline, responsibility, gratitude, honesty, and respect toward parents and teachers. The ceremony management is well-organized through theme planning, task distribution, and exemplary teacher behavior, which positively impacts students’ spirituality. Students demonstrate improvements in discipline, moral conduct, and habits of prayer and gratitude. Based on interviews, the teachers’ guidance speeches significantly influence the formation of students’ Islamic character, especially when followed by daily habituation activities. These findings align with Fathoni (2021), who emphasized that integrating Islamic education values into school routines helps build students’ religious and disciplined character
