    This research aims to examine the influence of academic supervision, school culture and leadership on teacher performance at MIN 1 Gresik and SDI Al Muttaqin Driyorejo Gresik. Teacher performance is a key factor in achieving quality education goals, and is influenced by various external elements. The research method used was a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires from 55 respondents. The results of the research show that academic supervision has a significant effect on teacher performance (t = 2.999; p = 0.004), school culture has a significant effect on teacher performance (t = 5.714; p = 0.000), principal leadership plays an important role in improving teacher performance (t = 5.773; p = 0.000). An R Square value of 0.900 means that 90% of the variation in Teacher Performance can be explained by these three variables, while the remaining 10% is influenced by other factors. This shows that effective academic supervision, positive school culture, and good leadership contribute significantly to improving teacher performance. This research also provides recommendations for schools to strengthen academic supervision and create an inclusive and collaborative school culture. Thus, it is hoped that the research results can become a reference in improving the quality of education at the two institutions

    Utilization of digital technology by teachers as part of efforts to ensure the quality of education at SMP Negeri 39 Samarinda. The background of this study is the challenges in implementing digital transformation in schools, especially in integrating technology into quality teaching practices. A qualitative case study approach was used, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving teachers, school leaders, and internal policy documents. The results of the study indicate that teachers have adopted various digital platforms such as Google Classroom, Quizizz, and Google Forms in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. This utilization has increased student participation, accelerated the learning assessment process, and supported transparency in the delivery of learning. In addition, Islamic values ​​have been successfully integrated into digital media as part of character education. However, this study also identified several challenges, including limited infrastructure, varying levels of digital literacy among teachers, and the absence of detailed technical regulations. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of the digital pedagogy approach with the instillation of religious values ​​within the framework of the school's internal quality assurance system. This study offers theoretical insights and practical recommendations for policy development and teacher training to strengthen holistic and sustainable digital transformation in education

    The purpose of this study is to develop a history learning media integrated with science and technology, especially by implementing the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach. One form of learning media innovation developed in this study is Virtual Reality (VR)-based media, which aims to improve students' critical thinking skills. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development model, which consists of four stages: 1) analysis stage, 2) design stage, 3) development stage, 4) implementation stage, and added stage 5) evaluation to measure the success of implementation. The research subjects involved students of class XII IPS 1 as the experimental class and XII IPS 2 as the control class at SMA Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung. The type of research used is a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest design. After the treatment was given to the experimental class through the use of VR-based HISGO media, the results of the analysis using the SPSS 24 application showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. This indicates a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. Thus, this learning media is proven to be effective in improving students' critical thinking skills

    The School Operational Assistance (BOS) program is a strategic policy of the Indonesian government aimed at supporting the operational financing of basic education and ensuring equitable and inclusive access to quality education. However, the utilization of BOS funds at the school level has often not been fully effective in enhancing the quality of learning. This study aims to analyze strategies for optimizing the use of BOS funds through a literature review of 30 national and international academic journals published between 2021 and 2025. The method employed is a systematic literature review, focusing on scholarly documents that meet inclusion criteria based on topic relevance, publication year, and academic credibility. The findings indicate that while BOS has significantly contributed to the sustainability of basic education services, its use remains largely administrative and insufficiently focused on quality improvement efforts such as teacher development, literacy and numeracy programs, and inclusive education initiatives. Challenges in BOS implementation include limited managerial capacity at schools, delays in disbursement, low community involvement, and inflexible policy guidelines. Therefore, reforms are needed in planning, supervision, and technical guidance to make BOS more adaptive to local needs and quality-oriented

    This study aims to examine the disparity in education financing between regions in Indonesia in the context of fiscal decentralization. The main focus is directed at how variations in fiscal capacity and regional governance affect the proportion of education spending and the achievement of access and quality of education services. The method used is a systematic literature review of scientific journals, policy documents, and reports from national and international institutions published in 2015–2025. The analysis was carried out through thematic coding of issues such as the General Allocation Fund (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK), Regional Original Income (PAD), and education indicators such as School Participation Rate (APS), Gross Participation Rate (APK), and National Assessment results (AN). The results of the study show significant disparities in education spending per capita between regions with high and low PAD. Transfer funds from the center have not been fully effective in closing the gap, especially because the allocation scheme is less flexible and there are minimal performance-based incentives. Regions with weak managerial capacity tend to have lower education outcomes. The novelty of this article lies in the development of a conceptual model that links fiscal decentralization, local budget capacity, and the proportion of education spending to equal access and quality of education. This model provides a basis for recommendations for fiscal policies based on performance and real regional needs

    Curriculum planning must involve analyzing student needs, developing integrative core competencies, and determining collaborative learning strategies. During the implementation phase, teachers are required to creatively connect science concepts with Islamic values ​​in teaching and learning activities. This study aims to describe the implementation of integrative-interconnective curriculum management between religion and science at SMP Muhammadiyah Merauke. Using a descriptive qualitative method with interviews, observations, and documentation, the research involved the principal, Islamic education teachers, science teachers, and students. The findings reveal that curriculum planning explicitly integrates Islamic values into syllabi and lesson plans. Implementation demonstrates collaboration between religion and science teachers through contextual learning that enhances students’ motivation and scientific reasoning. Evaluation is conducted reflectively, although standardized instruments for assessing integrative outcomes are still lacking. Overall, the curriculum positively influences students’ character development and religious-scientific literacy. Sustainable implementation requires institutional support, integrative teaching materials, and cross-disciplinary teacher training

    Objective: This study aims to describe and analyze the principal’s academic supervision strategies in strengthening teacher performance at SDN Kolursari I Bangil. The research addresses the phenomenon of how instructional leadership through academic supervision contributes to improving teacher professionalism in primary education. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research explores the real implementation of supervision within the school context. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, involving the school principal and six teachers selected through purposive sampling. The data analysis, conducted using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, revealed four main themes: (1) participatory supervision planning, which engages teachers in determining supervision priorities; (2) humanistic and reflective supervision practices, emphasizing collaborative guidance through classroom observation and peer coaching; (3) appreciative feedback and continuous follow-up, which foster a culture of professional learning; and (4) strengthening teacher performance and professionalism, as reflected in improved pedagogical competence, creativity in teaching, and professional discipline. The findings enrich the theory of instructional leadership by highlighting empathy and collaborative reflection as crucial dimensions of effective academic supervision

    RELASI MAKNA PADA KARYA MUSIK IDGITAF: KAJIAN SEMANTIK TERHADAP LIRIK LAGU-LAGU POP MUSISI INDONESIA

    This study aims to identify and analyze the types of semantic relations found in Idgitaf’s song lyrics and to understand how these relations convey messages, emotions, and semantic values. The research was conducted online in 2025 using Idgitaf’s song lyrics accessed from the internet as data sources. The population includes all Idgitaf’s songs released between her debut in 2021 and 2025, while the sample consists of 10 purposively selected songs. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with content analysis techniques. The data were collected by examining and analyzing the lyrics to identify semantic relations through three stages of analysis: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show 31 instances of semantic relations, consisting of 15 antonymy, 9 polysemy, 6 synonymy, and 1 hypernym-hyponym. The dominance of antonymy indicates the use of meaning contrast to strengthen emotional messages, while polysemy, synonymy, and hypernym-hyponym enrich the poetic value of the lyrics. These findings highlight that Idgitaf effectively utilizes semantic relations to express messages and emotions in a simple yet profound manner

    The misalignment between UKT policy and students' actual conditions has multidimensional impacts. A perceived disproportionate UKT burden not only places a financial burden on families but also creates a psychological burden that can disrupt students' concentration and the continuation of their studies. The implementation of the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) policy often triggers controversy regarding transparency and justice. This study analyzes student perceptions at Universitas Negeri Manado (UNIMA) regarding UKT implementation and its psychological impact. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected via in-depth interviews and source triangulation. The findings reveal a dualism in perception which are some students view UKT determination as procedurally compliant, while others rely on fee relaxation mechanisms. Key findings indicate that despite financial anxiety, students exhibit high optimism driven by trust in appeal mechanisms as a form of procedural justice. It is concluded that effective higher education financial management requires procedural flexibility to accommodate students' economic dynamics and ensure study continuity

    MI Maslakul Huda Lamongan as a private Islamic elementary school faces similar crucial issues, where the SPMB process is still semi-manual despite efforts to integrate the Ministry of Religion's SIM, resulting in data delays and a lack of transparency for parents of prospective students. The Management Information System (MIS) plays a crucial role in supporting the New Student Admission Selection (SPMB) process in madrasah ibtidaiyah through data transparency, administrative efficiency, and accurate document verification, yet it faces challenges such as low digital literacy among human resources and limited infrastructure in private MI in East Java like Maslakul Huda Lamongan. This study applies Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using PRISMA protocol on 45 articles from 2020-2025 sourced from Google Scholar and SINTA to identify performance evaluation gaps of MIS. Findings show that SIMPATIKA and EMIS effectively reduce manual errors in SPMB, but major gaps include the scarcity of comparative private-public studies and holistic rural infrastructure evaluations. Recommendations encompass continuous HR training, local platform integration, and waterfall model for contextual MIS optimization
