    Aqidah Akhlak learning in madrasahs often faces challenges related to monotonous teaching methods and a lack of active student engagement. To address this issue, innovative learning strategies are needed to improve students’ learning outcomes through more interactive approaches. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Card Sort method on students’ learning outcomes in Aqidah Akhlak subjects at MTs Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving 32 eighth-grade students as research subjects. The instruments used include questionnaires, observation sheets, and achievement tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including Pearson correlation and simple regression tests. The results showed that the implementation of the Card Sort method was at a high category, and students’ learning outcomes significantly improved, with an average score of 90.47. The correlation test showed a very strong relationship between the Card Sort method and learning outcomes (r = 0.893; p < 0.05). The implication of this study highlights the importance of using active learning methods to improve conceptual understanding in Aqidah Akhlak and foster student participation in the learning process

    In the increasingly competitive world of Islamic boarding school education, understanding how marketing and service quality influence the choices of prospective students is crucial for formulating effective strategies. Therefore, this research was conducted to delve into these two factors and offer recommendations to help the boarding school maximize its strategies. Using a quantitative approach through a survey, data was collected from 50 respondents, including prospective students and their parents. A 5-point Likert scale questionnaire was used to measure marketing strategies, service quality, and prospective students’ decisions. Multiple linear regression analysis was then applied to test the relationship between variables. The findings of the study indicate that marketing strategies (X₁) and service quality (X₂) significantly influence prospective students’ decisions (Y). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.643 confirms that 64.3% of the variation in prospective students’ decisions can be explained by the contribution of these two variables. This study concludes that effective marketing strategies and good service quality significantly influence prospective students’ decisions in choosing the Daarul Qur’an Lampung Tahfizh Boarding School. Therefore, the boarding school needs to continue strengthening its digital marketing strategies and improving its service quality to compete in the increasingly competitive boarding school education market

    This study aims to examine the impact of spiritual leadership on employee performance through employee well-being among employees of the Semarang City Education Office. Spiritual leadership, which emphasizes vision, altruistic love, and hope/faith, is considered an important factor in enhancing employees’ psychological well-being and organizational outcomes. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. A Likert scale questionnaire (1–5) was distributed to the entire population of 110 employees. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0, including validity and reliability testing, as well as outer model, inner model, and hypothesis testing. The findings reveal that spiritual leadership has a significant positive effect on employee well-being, employee well-being significantly improves employee performance, and spiritual leadership also directly affects employee performance. Furthermore, employee well-being mediates the relationship between spiritual leadership and employee performance. The results confirm the essential role of spiritual leadership in fostering employee well-being, which subsequently enhances employee performance. The practical implication highlights the importance of strengthening spiritual leadership practices and improving employee well-being programs within government institutions

    Integration between educators’ digital competence and human resource management (HRM) is essential in the era of digital transformation and hybrid learning; however, no existing study has clearly formulated such integration. Therefore, the aim of this research is to develop a strategic framework for integrating educators’ digital competence with HRM practices within hybrid learning environments during the digital transformation era. To achieve this objective, the study employs a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review using the PRISMA method. A total of 20 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 were analyzed from major databases, including Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, Garuda, and Sinta. The findings indicate that: (1) From the perspective of digital competence, teachers, lecturers, and learners must master pedagogical, reflective, and ethical skills to ensure that technology meaningfully supports the learning process; (2) In terms of HRM transformation, institutions need to strategically utilize artificial intelligence (AI), adopt metaverse-based learning spaces, and implement performance-based incentives; (3) The recommended integration strategy emphasizes synergy among three dimensions: strong individual digital competence, strategic and adaptive HRM, and their alignment within institutional policies and practices

    Improving the quality of education requires a systematic approach through stakeholder collaboration and continuous data-based evaluation. This study analyzes the design of working groups and the implementation of continuous evaluation in improving the quality of education at SMP Ummul Ayman Samalanga. The research method uses a qualitative case study approach with in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The results show that the working group design was developed through the strengthening of KKG and MGMP as collaborative forums for planning, reflection, and problem solving in learning. This collaboration encourages the more consistent application of active and project-based learning. Continuous evaluation using the PDCA cycle and CIPP model enabled the school to accurately identify learning issues and formulate follow-up measures through remedial-enrichment programs and the strengthening of a culture of literacy. The integration of collaborative working groups and data-based evaluation proved effective in reducing disparities in achievement between classes and creating sustainable improvements in education quality. The findings offer a practical model for other schools in systematic and measurable education quality improvement

    Objective: This study aims to analyze the application of the Iqra Method in strengthening the quality of Qur'an recitation of MTs Qoryatul Qur'an Weru Sukoharjo students. The main focus of the research is to assess the effectiveness of this method in improving the accuracy of machraj, the application of tajweed laws, and the fluency of students' recitation. The background of the study is based on the low quality of Qur'anic reading among madrasah students, so an approach that not only emphasizes basic literacy, but also fosters sustainable reading that is tartil and religious is needed. Methods: The research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of one tahfiz teacher and ten seventh grade students selected by purposive sampling. Data were obtained through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model through the stages of data reduction, presentation, and verification. Validity was strengthened by triangulation of sources and techniques. Results: The results showed that the gradual, systematic, and corrective application of the Iqra Method improved students' ability to pronounce letters, apply the laws of tajweed, and read fluently and correctly

    Indonesia is a nation with a rich diversity of cultures, due to its hundreds of millions of inhabitants from various ethnic groups spread from Sabang to Merauke. This is in line with Maulida's opinion that Indonesian culture is a combination of various local cultures found in every region of Indonesia. This culture continues to evolve over time, influenced by the community's desire for change and adaptation in cultural aspects.Culture is an important element that binds individuals in society, encompassing various systems such as beliefs and traditions. Indonesia, with its cultural diversity, has many traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation. One example is the Ngelemang tradition in Lampung, which is the process of cooking lemang, a traditional food made from sticky rice. In this study, qualitative and ethnographic methods were used to understand the essence and preservation of this tradition. Ngelemang is not just a cooking activity, but also a means of strengthening social interaction and communal identity. Preservation strategies involve the active role of the younger generation, who are expected to not only be successors but also promoters through digital media, so that this tradition remains alive and relevant in everyday life

    Various challenges faced by Arabic language teachers at the elementary level, particularly at Salafiyyah Ula Islamic Centre Bin Baz (ICBB) Yogyakarta, form the foundation of this research. At this institution, Arabic serves as the primary medium of instruction; however, the teaching process still encounters significant difficulties such as diverse student abilities, limited instructional time, inadequate learning media, and a lack of student motivation. The objectives of this study are to identify the challenges faced by teachers, analyze the instructional approaches employed, and examine the teachers’ efforts to enhance students’ motivation to learn Arabic. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to Arabic language teachers. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method, and the data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques involving data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with source triangulation used to ensure validity. The findings reveal that teachers face both pedagogical and technical problems, including students’ varying levels of comprehension and insufficient learning facilities. To overcome these challenges, teachers have adopted innovative strategies such as language games, vocabulary memorization (mufrodat), and individualized learning approaches. Although technology has not been fully utilized, these strategies have successfully increased students’ engagement and learning motivation

    Islamic education plays a vital role in shaping students’ character, morality, and spirituality through the teaching of the Qur’an and Hadith as the core of Islamic values. One practical implementation at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Gemolong is the daily tadarus program conducted every morning before the start of classes. This study aims to examine the effect of the daily tadarus program on students’ learning achievement in the Qur’an and Hadith subject for seventh-grade students in the 2022/2023 academic year. The population of this study consists of all 215 students at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Gemolong, divided into three grade levels (VII, VIII, and IX). The research sample includes 35 students from grade VII, where the daily tadarus program is implemented most intensively as part of the school’s morning spiritual habituation. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and students’ academic records, and analyzed with SPSS version 25 through validity, reliability, normality, heteroscedasticity, and simple linear regression tests. The findings reveal that the daily tadarus program has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning achievement, with a significance value of 0.002 (<0.05) and a determination coefficient of 0.251. This indicates that tadarus activities contribute 25.1% to the variation in students’ academic performance

    Objective: This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effects of Quality of Work Life (QWL) and Transformational Leadership on Teacher Performance, with Work Discipline as a mediating variable, in Public Elementary Schools in Pamulang District. Methods: The research employs an explanatory quantitative approach with a survey method. A sample of 144 teachers from 12 accredited A elementary schools was selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using validated questionnaires and analyzed using Path Analysis to test the causal relationships between variables. Results: (1) QWL, Work Discipline, and Transformational Leadership have a positive and significant direct effect on Teacher Performance; (2) Work Discipline has the dominant direct influence (0.766); (3) QWL and Transformational Leadership significantly strengthen Work Discipline; (4) Work Discipline acts as an effective partial mediator, where the indirect effects of QWL (0.280) and Transformational Leadership (0.503) on performance through this mediator are greater than their direct effects. Novelty: The biggest impact of Transformational Leadership and QWL on Teacher Performance is transmitted through Work Discipline
