    The role of leadership management in optimizing the use of digital learning media to achieve more effective learning at the junior high school level. The importance of this research lies in the crucial role of effective leadership in managing educational technology, especially amidst the rapid development of digitalization in the education sector. This study adopted a quantitative design with a correlational survey approach, involving 28 seventh-grade students at SMPN 10 Bengkulu City. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, selecting students who actively use digital learning media. The collected data were analyzed using linear regression analysis and Pearson correlation to test the relationship between variables. The results of the study indicate a significant relationship between leadership management and the use of digital learning media, as well as a positive influence of digital media use on learning effectiveness. These findings provide a practical contribution to education policy, by encouraging the strengthening of leadership roles that support the use of technology in learning. Theoretically, this study enriches the understanding of the transformational leadership model in the context of digital education and provides a basis for developing technology-based learning management strategies

    This study discusses the values of human relationships contained in Segata Penayuhan by Susi Ratubelia and its implications for Lampung language learning in junior high schools. Segata, as one of the forms of Lampung oral literature, not only functions as a medium of entertainment and cultural expression but also conveys meaningful moral messages. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with stages including data collection, analysis, and presentation of results. The object of study focuses on Segata Penayuhan, emphasizing moral values, particularly human relationships that encompass mutual respect, solidarity, empathy, and ethics in social life. The results of the study show that Segata Penayuhan contains humanistic values relevant to everyday life, such as the importance of maintaining good relationships with others, avoiding prejudice, and fostering togetherness within the community. These values have significant implications for Lampung language learning in junior high schools, as they can serve as teaching materials that introduce students to local cultural heritage while instilling positive character traits. Thus, Lampung language learning based on segata not only enhances students’ understanding of regional literary works but also strengthens cultural identity and nurtures morally upright individuals

    The role of educational staff is very urgent in educational management to improve the quality of higher quality education. This study aims to describe the principal's strategies for improving the professionalism of educational staff at SMP Negeri 1 Marisa. The professionalism of educational staff is a crucial aspect in supporting the effectiveness of school management and the quality of educational administration services. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation of the principal and educational staff. The results show that the principal implemented various planned and sustainable strategies to improve the professionalism of educational staff, including: (1) creating a collaborative work culture; (2) involving educational staff in various training courses, workshops, and seminars to improve competency and work skills; and (3) building effective communication. Through the implementation of these strategies, there was an increase in work discipline, responsibility, and the ability of educational staff to carry out their duties professionally. Thus, it can be concluded that the success of improving the professionalism of educational staff is highly dependent on the role of the principal as a visionary, communicative leader, and oriented towards human resource developmen

    This study aims to describe the forms and types of spelling and punctuation errors found in the academic papers of students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at the University of Lampung. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with documentation as the data collection method. The data consisted of spelling and punctuation errors identified in 20 first-semester students’ papers during the 2024/2025 academic year. The findings revealed 125 errors, consisting of errors in the use of capital letters (30.4%), prepositions “di” and “ke” (21.6%), compound word writing (9.6%), commas (23.2%), and periods and quotation marks (15.2%). The most frequent errors were in the use of capital letters and commas. These mistakes occurred mainly due to students’ lack of understanding of the Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI), the influence of informal writing habits, and limited experience in editing academic texts. The results of this study are expected to serve as evaluation material for improving students’ academic writing skills, particularly in mastering the correct use of spelling and punctuation in higher education contexts

    This study aims to analyze and evaluate the curriculum implemented at SMAN 2 Sutera, both at the document and implementation levels, and to formulate a hypothetical model of an ideal curriculum relevant to the demands of the digital era. The research employed a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design, beginning with a qualitative analysis of curriculum documents (syllabi, lesson plans, and school programs), followed by surveys and interviews with teachers, students, and school stakeholders. The findings reveal that although the current curriculum at SMAN 2 Sutera accommodates several aspects of 21st-century competencies, there remains a gap between curriculum planning and classroom practice—particularly in the integration of digital technology, enhancement of information literacy, and the application of project-based learning. Based on these findings, this study proposes an adaptive digital-based curriculum model that emphasizes teacher-student collaboration, the use of interactive learning technologies, and the development of critical, creative, communicative, and collaborative (4C) competencies. This model is expected to serve as a reference for developing a contextual, innovative, and future-oriented senior high school curriculum in Indonesia

    This sociocultural reality cannot be separated from the learning process, as it shapes students' perspectives, motivations, and learning needs. Learning processes that ignore local realities tend to lose relevance, resulting in a disconnect between the theory they learn and their daily lives. This study aims to understand the meaningful learning experiences of students at STKIP Pesisir Selatan through the perspective of educational phenomenology. The focus lies on how students interpret their learning experiences inside and outside the classroom, as well as the factors that shape meaning in the learning process. The phenomenological approach explores students’ subjective experiences in depth. The findings show that meaningful learning depends not only on course material but also on connections to the local cultural context, social support, the lecturer’s role as a facilitator, and students’ intrinsic motivation. This article contributes to the development of more humanistic, contextual, and reflective learning practices in teacher education institutions

    This study aims to examine the concepts and practices of developing curriculum evaluation based on local needs, with a particular focus on the context of STKIP Pesisir Selatan. This review employs a literature review approach drawing on various relevant academic sources, including national and international journals, education policy reports, and institutional documents related to curriculum evaluation development. The findings indicate that curriculum evaluation based on local needs emphasizes the integration of values, potentials, and the socio-cultural characteristics of the community surrounding the campus into instructional design. At STKIP Pesisir Selatan, this approach is realized through the strengthening of curriculum evaluation that is adaptive to coastal socio-economic conditions, community empowerment, and the alignment between graduates’ competencies and regional needs. The implementation strategies involve collaboration among lecturers, students, and local stakeholders to ensure that the curriculum is not only academic in nature but also applicable in addressing contextual problems faced by the community

    This study aims to analyze the pedagogical competence of Tahfidz teachers in providing oral correction and reinforcement through the talaqqi method in Islamic elementary schools (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah). The research focuses on teachers’ ability to manage Qur’anic memorization sessions, apply appropriate correction strategies, and implement effective verbal motivation during talaqqi interactions. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews with Tahfidz teachers experienced in elementary-level Qur’anic instruction. The findings indicate that the teachers possess sufficient pedagogical competence to conduct talaqqi-based learning effectively. Oral corrections are generally delivered immediately (immediate correction) to maintain memorization accuracy, while articulation and pronunciation improvements are provided progressively according to students’ individual abilities. Verbal reinforcements such as “Ahsantum,” “Barakallahu fiikum,” and “Maa syaa Allah” serve as essential motivational tools that foster enthusiasm, learning persistence, and self-confidence among students. Major challenges include large class sizes, diverse memorization abilities, and limited time for personalized correction

    Creating the best learning environment for student academic success is a challenge for Islamic education. Students' learning and personal growth, both personal and academic, are crucial. To create an instructive, inspiring learning environment focused on the development of noble morals in accordance with Islamic law, this madrasah utilizes contemporary creative concepts to create an enlightening, inspiring learning environment centered on teaching moral behavior in accordance with Islamic law. Islamic education management strategies for creating a fun madrasah include holistic curriculum management that integrates active and varied learning, conducive physical environment management, teacher competency development, and the establishment of a positive work culture.     Educators are crucial in developing high-quality human resources. They serve not only as teachers but also as mentors and educators. Teachers must demonstrate professionalism, adaptability to change, and the ability to provide high-quality learning services in their roles. The purpose of this research is to identify the efforts made by the principal to improve teacher performance as well as the challenges faced at SMP Negeri 2 Popayato Barat. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources are teachers who serve as informants through in-depth interviews guided by an interview protocol. The data analysis technique involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the principal’s efforts to improve teacher performance are realized through a democratic leadership style, supervision of learning administration, providing motivation during meetings, verbal appreciation, and monitoring teacher discipline. However, the principal’s role is still not optimal due to infrequent academic supervision, insufficient communication, lack of firmness in rules, and limited appreciation mostly in the form of verbal support
