    ISLAMIC MICROECONOMICS IN ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOLS: FACING GLOBALIZATION CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES

    This research examines the strategic role of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in implementing Islamic microeconomic principles amid globalization challenges and opportunities. Pesantren not only function as religious educational institutions but also possess significant potential as drivers of local economic development based on Islamic values such as justice, sustainability, and wealth distribution. This study highlights the integration of Sharia principles into pesantren economic practices through concepts such as productive waqf, Sharia-based cooperatives, and community empowerment. Main challenges include limited human resources, lack of access to capital, and the need for technological adaptation. However, globalization also offers opportunities through digitalization and increased public awareness of Islamic economics. By adopting maqāṣid al-sharīʿah theory, institutional economics, and social innovation, pesantren can develop sustainable, inclusive, and competitive economic models. This research recommends improving Islamic financial literacy, utilizing digital technology, and building strategic collaborations to support Islamic microeconomic development in pesantren environments

    PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA AUDIO PODCAST DALAM MEMPELAJARI BENTUK KALIMAT BAHASA INGGRIS BAGI MAHASISWA TUNANETRA

    This study aims to develop an audio podcast-based learning media called "Podlish" to help visually impaired students understand sentence structures in English. The development followed the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In the analysis phase, interviews with visually impaired students revealed their difficulties in understanding English materials that are often visual and not aligned with their auditory learning style. They expressed the need for simple explanations, clear narration, and accessible sentence examples. Based on these needs, the “Podlish” podcast was created, featuring theoretical explanations, sentence examples, and practice exercises—all in audio format. The narration is delivered in a clear voice and supported by non-distracting background music. Expert validation showed the media was highly appropriate with an average score of 84.2%, while practical testing with visually impaired students resulted in an 89.3% average score for usability. Revisions were made based on expert feedback, including improving audio quality, adding transcripts, and expanding accessibility. In conclusion, "Podlish" is an effective, practical, and inclusive learning tool

    This study is motivated by the importance of the family environment, particularly parental attention, in shaping students’ interest in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The objectives of this study are: (1) to identify the level of parental attention toward the learning interest of grade VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Kerjo in the 2024/2025 academic year, (2) to determine the level of students’ interest in learning PAI, and (3) to analyze the influence of the family environment on students’ learning interest in PAI. The study employed a quantitative associative approach. The population and sample consisted of 56 seventh-grade students selected using total sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, and analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, linearity, and simple linear regression tests.NThe results show that parental attention is in the high category (60.07%), students’ learning interest is in the moderate category (51.8%), and 44.0% of the variation in students’ learning interest is influenced by the family environment, while the remaining 56.0% is influenced by other factors. These findings indicate that family attention significantly contributes to fostering students’ interest in PAI learning

    Learning hikayat texts at the high school level aims to shape students' character through understanding life values. One of the contributing factors is low metacognitive awareness, namely students' ability to manage, monitor, and evaluate thought processes while reading. This study aims to determine the relationship between metacognitive awareness and the ability to understand values in hikayat texts of grade X Phase E students of SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The study population was all grade X Phase E students of SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang in the 2024/2025 academic year. A sample of 30 people was determined using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using two instruments, namely a metacognitive awareness questionnaire and a multiple-choice test to measure understanding of values in hikayat texts. The results of data analysis showed that the level of students' metacognitive awareness was in the high category with an average percentage of 71.50%. Meanwhile, students' ability to understand the values of the fable text is also classified as high with an average value of 81.53. The results of the Pearson correlation test show a positive and significant relationship between metacognitive awareness and the ability to understand the values of the fable text, as evidenced by the calculated t value > t table (2.11 > 1.70)

    Education is not only aimed at transferring knowledge from teachers to students, but also focuses on forming superior student character, both in terms of knowledge, attitude, and skills.Character education is a primary focus in today's education system, particularly given the challenges of globalization and rapid social change. The role of teachers is crucial in shaping students' character. Teachers are not only responsible for delivering academic material. This study aims to describe the role of theachers in shapping student’ character at sd negeri 05 salido kecil. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of the study indicate that teachers play an important role in character building through exemplery behavior, habituation, integration of character values into learning, end cooperation were successfully instilled theroug various planned strategies. Althoug there are several obstacles such as family bakground and external influences, reachers continue to strive to create a supportive educational enviroment for character development

    This study aims to determine whether the wordwall method has an effect on student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education for seventh grade students at SMP Islam Tahfizh Darusshomad 2 Kalijaga Tengah. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quantitative experimental research design. This study was conducted at SMP Islam Tahfizh Darusshomad 2 Kalijaga Tengah. The sample for this study consisted of 30 seventh-grade students. Sampling was conducted using the purposive sampling method. The results of this study indicate that the wordwall method has an effect on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education for seventh-grade students at SMP Islam Tahfizh Darusshomad 2 Kalijaga Tengah. This can be seen from the hypothesis test results which show a significance value (p-value) of 0.000 (smaller than 0.05), so that the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. This means that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores of student learning outcomes after the application of the wordwall method. The difference in the average scores between the pretest and posttest of 6.100 points also shows a significant increase in student learning outcomes. This is reinforced by a t-value of -16.800, which indicates a very significant difference between the results before and after the treatment, with a total of 30 students as respondents

    This research aims to analyze how prophetic leadership integrates moral, spiritual, and ethical values of Islam into modern management practices to create just and sustainable leadership.Method: The approach used is literature study, examining the teachings of the Qur'an, Hadith, and various case studies of the implementation of prophetic leadership in educational institutions and the business world. The analysis is conducted qualitatively to understand the application of Islamic values in the context of contemporary leadership.Results: Findings show that values such as trustworthiness, justice, transparency, and integrity are fundamental in building organizations that are not only efficient but also ethical and sustainable. Prophetic leadership can create a humanistic work culture and enhance organizational loyalty and performance.Novelty: This research presents innovation by combining traditional Islamic principles with the needs of modern leadership, resulting in a holistic and adaptive leadership paradigm. The main contribution lies in the development of management and leadership literature that emphasizes spiritual values as a key pillar in strategic decision-making

    Education is a process that occurs between students and teachers, has a very crucial function and acts as a valuable resource in human life. To achieve a higher quality of education. it requires teaching staff who have high skills and levels of professionalism in their respective fields. In general, aspects of educational supervision are divided into two main categories, namely academic supervision and administrative supervision. Academic supervision is related to development efforts aimed at improving the quality of teaching in the classroom, with a primary focus on teacher behavior while teaching and the interactions that occur during the educational process. This study aims to understand the scope and methods applied in educational supervision. The methodology used in this study is qualitative research. This type of research is a literature study that aims to collect information from various books or existing sources. It can be said that the scope of supervision is in the fields of student affairs, infrastructure, administration, student affairs, and also in the field of finance. Then the approach used by the supervisor is a direct approach, an indirect approach. and a collaborative approach between the direct and indirect approaches. With a deep understanding of the scope and methods of supervision in educational institutions, institutions can be directed to achieve better educational goals

    This study is motivated by the limited research on the role of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in shaping students’ Islamic worldview in the digital disruption era, despite its significant impact on Islamic education and the moral formation of Muslim youth. The rapid advancement of technology has transformed students’ ways of thinking and behaving, requiring pesantren to adapt without losing their Islamic values. This research aims to analyze how Ma’had Tahfizhul Qur’an Baitul Hikmah Sukoharjo develops an Islamic worldview among students through curriculum design, learning methods, and the role of teachers (ustadz) amid digital challenges. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design, involving three main informant groups—leaders, teachers, and students—selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña’s thematic analysis model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that education at Ma’had Tahfizhul Qur’an Baitul Hikmah plays a crucial role in constructing students’ Islamic worldview through an integrative curriculum that combines Qur’an memorization, Islamic studies, general knowledge, and character formation (adab). The ustadz serve as murabbi and muaddib, ensuring value transmission both in class and daily life

    This research is about the origin of Pangeran Menang Jagad and Minak Kemala in Kampung Tua, Negara Batin District, Way Kanan Regency. The formulation of the problem of "How is the Origin of Prince Menang Jagad and Minak Kemala in Kampung Tua, Negara Batin District, Way Kanan Regency?". The purpose of this research is to add insight into the origin of Pangeran Menang Jagad and Minak Kemala in Kampung Tua, Negara Batin Subdistrict, Way Kanan Regency. The research method uses qualitative research ethnographic studies. From the folk stories known in the community of Kampung Tua, Negara Batin District, Way Kanan Regency, Pangeran Menang Jagad and Minak Kemala have a very important role in enriching their cultural heritage and local identity. The story of Prince Menang Jagad and Minak Kemala is not just a love story, but also a reflection of the values, wisdom and courage valued in the local community. Their origins are part of the myths and legends told through generations in the Kampung Tua community. Their legendary love story is a source of inspiration and learning for the younger generation about values such as loyalty, cooperation and courage in the face of challenges
