    Indonesia as an archipelagic country with thousands of islands, ethnic groups, regional languages, and religions, is a real portrait of a multicultural society. This article discusses the strategic role of educational institutions in building a multicultural culture that is in line with the values ​​of Islamic law. In the context of a pluralistic society, education is the main means to instill the values ​​of tolerance, justice, and mutual respect between ethnic, cultural, and religious differences. Islamic law, as the normative foundation of Muslims, teaches the principles of peaceful coexistence and upholds humanity. Through an inclusive curriculum, character building, and exemplary behavior from educators, educational institutions can become agents of change in creating social harmony rooted in Islamic teachings. This article uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with an analysis of Islamic literature and education policies in Indonesia. The results of this study illustrate that the integration of multicultural values ​​and Islamic law in a more inclusive education system can strengthen social foundations and minimize the potential for conflict in a plural society

    This research aims to develop a partnership-based training model to improve the competence of automotive vocational teachers in line with the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. By involving the automotive industry, this model seeks to align industry needs with teacher competencies, so as to better prepare SMK graduates to enter the workforce. This research uses a research and development (R&D) method with two stages: development and validation. Education experts, SMK teachers, and industry practitioners were involved through interviews, FGDs, and questionnaires. The study involved 72 vocational automotive teachers in Central and West Java. The implementation of the model was piloted in three national automotive industries, with evaluation based on observation and feedback from trainees. The training model consists of six stages: (1) Communication and Information, (2) Facilitation, (3) Mentoring, (4) Monitoring, (5) Process Evaluation, and (6) Results Evaluation. The model was well received by the teachers, increasing their motivation, knowledge and skills, and aligning their competencies with industry standards. This research introduces a partnership-based model that directly involves industry, fosters sustainable collaboration and increases the relevance of teacher training to labor market needs, improving the quality of vocational education

    The Family Hope Program (PKH) is one of the poverty alleviation programs launched by the government in 2007 and has been ongoing until now. However, there are several problems in its implementation, including: fund distribution, the length of time for fund disbursement, and not all poor people receive PKH assistance. This study aims to see the contribution of the utilization of the Family Hope Program (PKH) assistance funds in poverty alleviation in Pesisir Selatan Regency; obstacles faced in the utilization of assistance funds (PKH); and strategies for utilizing assistance funds (PKH) to be more effective. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Informants were selected using purposive sampling. The results of this study show the contribution of the utilization of assistance funds (PKH) in poverty alleviation in Pesisir Selatan Regency. In the fields of education and health, it has been realized well. The obstacles faced in the utilization of assistance funds (PKH) in Pesisir Selatan Regency, namely the length of time for fund disbursement, hampered Households (KPM) in buying school uniforms for their children, so they borrowed money before the funds were disbursed. The strategy for utilizing assistance funds (PKH) to be more effective is to conduct outreach to KPM and provide a clear understanding so that they understand the objectives of the program as well as the government's monitoring and evaluation of the program

    This study aims to analyze various forms of teacher career development and their impact on enhancing professionalism in primary schools. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach through library research, the study examines relevant national and international scientific literature and empirical data from elementary schools. The findings reveal that career development programs for teachers include curriculum workshops, digital learning training, professional certification, promotions, mentoring, classroom action research, and participation in academic forums. Teachers actively engaged in these activities show significant improvement in their lesson planning, technology integration, classroom management, and student assessment practices. The study also finds a strong correlation between the intensity of career development and the level of teacher professionalism. Organizational support, school leadership, and affirmative educational policies play a vital role in strengthening this relationship. The study recommends the implementation of continuous, needs-based career development systems to foster adaptive, reflective, and innovative teaching professionals in the era of educational transformation

This article aims to analyze the role of personnel administration in enhancing the professionalism of educators and educational personnel through a literature review approach. In the context of human resource management within education, personnel administration plays a strategic role that includes planning, recruitment, training, career development, and performance evaluation. The effective implementation of personnel administration can create a supportive work environment, boost motivation and employee performance, and contribute to the achievement of educational goals. The professionalism of teachers and educational staff is defined as the ability to meet the standards of pedagogical, professional, personal, and social competencies as regulated by existing legislation. Moreover, the relationship between personnel administration and human resource development is a crucial factor in improving the competitiveness of educators through continuous training and structured career management. This article also recommends that educational institutions optimize the function of personnel administration as a strategic tool for producing professional and high-quality educators

    This study aims to examine transparency in the management of Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) in Indonesia, which is considered as one of the determining factors for the success of the program. Transparency in the management of BOS funds can increase public and stakeholder trust, and support improvements in the quality of education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore the practice of transparency in the management of BOS funds in several schools. Data were collected through interviews with school principals, treasurers, school committee members, and analysis of financial report documents. The results of the study indicate that the publication of financial reports openly increases public trust, but challenges related to infrastructure and access to technology in certain areas need to be addressed. In addition, cooperation between the government, schools, and the community is essential to ensure effective use of funds and equal distribution of education quality. This study concludes that transparency in the management of BOS funds has a significant role in improving the quality of education in Indonesia

    Strategic management is a systematic approach that is very important in improving the quality of education, especially in the context of curriculum changes and the demands of 21st century competencies. Teachers are required to have high professional and pedagogical competencies and be able to apply innovative learning methods. This study aims to examine the implementation of strategic management at SMAN 1 Karau Kuala and analyze its influence on teacher and student performance. Using qualitative descriptive methods, this study describes the basic concepts of strategic management, its implementation at the school level, and its impact on teacher professionalism and student achievement. The results of the study indicate that consistent implementation of strategic management can improve the quality of planning and implementation of learning by teachers, as well as create a conducive and adaptive learning environment for students. Strategic management has also been shown to strengthen internal collaboration, increase resource efficiency, and foster an innovative and quality-oriented work culture. Therefore, strategic management can be used as the main foundation in creating superior and highly competitive schools in the modern era

    This article examines the implementation of the zoned-based New Student Admission (PPDB) system in relation to the fulfillment of citizens' rights to fair and equitable education in Indonesia. The study focuses on the execution of zoning policies by the Surakarta City Education Office and the perceptions of schools regarding the effectiveness of this system. The research method used is a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews; this study analyzes how zoning policies are technically implemented, the extent to which the community responds to the implementation, and how the relevant parties assess its impact on access to education, especially for prospective students from peripheral areas. The research results show that 63.3% of the majority of respondents stated that the zoning system is in accordance with the principles of justice as stipulated in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, although in principle, zoning is intended for equity, its implementation still faces challenges, such as disparities in facilities between schools, limited capacity, and uneven distribution of education quality. In this regard, the author highlights the importance of continuous evaluation and improvement of policies so that their implementation does not hinder the public's right to access equal and quality education services

    This study aims to evaluate the success of students in determining career choices through the implementation of Holland Theory at SMA N 1 Padang Sago. The background shows that many students face difficulties in choosing their majors, which impacts their motivation and proactivity. The methode of this article uses a quantitative method involving 100 students. By implementing a career planning program based on Holland Theory, students are encouraged to explore their interests and talents that are aligned with six personality types: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Entrepreneurial, and Conventional (RIASEC). The results show a significant increase in students' ability to recognize and choose appropriate majors, as well as an increase in their motivation and creativity in planning for the future. Novelty This program effectively helps students overcome career-related challenges and prepares them for a dynamic job market. Technology integration through Google Sites also facilitates interactive access to career information, supporting a more in-depth learning process
