    A deep understanding of cost theory and concepts is crucial in supporting managerial decision-making, strategic planning, and performance evaluation in business and education. This article aims to explore and analyze the mastery of conceptual and practical knowledge of students and practitioners of cost theory, types of costs, and their application in operational activities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study techniques and field observations in academic environments and small-medium scale businesses. The results show that there is a gap between the theoretical understanding obtained through formal learning and practical application in the field, especially in the classification of fixed, variable, direct, indirect, and relevant costs. This article suggests the need for integration between real case-based learning and the utilization of digital technology in the learning process of cost theory in order to have a more applicable and contextual understanding. These findings can be the basis for curriculum development that is more responsive to labor market needs

    This study aims to analyze: (1) the application of the outdoor study method containing local wisdom assisted by the quizizz media in geography learning and (2) the effect of the outdoor study method containing local wisdom assisted by the Quizizz media on students' learning interest. This study employs a quasi-experimental design featuring a non-equivalent control group.  The sample for the class was randomly selected among equivalent class pairs, designating class X1 as the experimental group and class X6 as the control group.  Data was gathered by observation, testing, and documentation procedures, followed by analysis utilizing quantitative descriptive approaches and inferential analysis via the t-test.  The research results indicated that: (1) The average value of the application of the outdoor study method assisted by the quizizz media containing local wisdom in the experimental class was 96.87 and in the control class was 90.62 and (2) Based on the data tested, it resulted in the Sig value, (2-tailed) of the results of students' learning interest getting results of 0.003 <0.05. The research findings indicate that the outdoor study technique, facilitated by Quizizz media, serves as a more dynamic resource for high school geography educators to enhance student engagement in learning

    Implementation of the independent curriculum has supporting and inhibiting factors. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach on the research focus at the Raudhoturrahmah Integrated Islamic Elementary School. The collected data was analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana analysis technique. The results of this research reveal that the inhibiting factors are teachers who do not fully understand their role in the independent curriculum, heavier learning loads on student assignments, and the existence of new terms in implementing the independent curriculum. The supporting factors are monthly workshops for principals and supervisors coached by expert trainers, strengthening learning committee teachers, mentoring by expert trainers online, carrying out coaching activities for principals every month, filling out surveys to find out various obstacles in implementing the independent curriculum. This school uses an independent curriculum with independent study options in grades II, III, V, VI and the independent option changes in grades I and IV. This school has implemented an independent curriculum which begins with carrying out diagnostic assessments, adjusting lesson hours, creating projects as an implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), carrying out learning that is adapted to student characteristics both outside and inside the classroom

    Digital transformation in the world of education demands fundamental changes in the teacher selection process, including in Islamic education environments. Teachers are not only required to have professional competence and mastery of technology, but also spiritual integrity that reflects Islamic values. This study aims to examine the challenges of teacher selection in the digital era, and to offer an integrative selection approach between professionalism and spirituality. Using a literature study method with a qualitative descriptive approach, data was obtained from national and international scientific literature. The results of the study indicate an imbalance in digital literacy, the dominance of technical professionalism aspects, and weak instruments for measuring spirituality in the teacher selection process. Therefore, a multidimensional and collaborative selection model is needed, including integration between madrasahs and Islamic boarding schools, in order to produce teachers who are balanced between technological skills and moral-spiritual strength in educating the Islamic generation. This study aims to formulate a teacher selection strategy that is not only oriented towards technological and pedagogical skills, but also considers spiritual qualities and personality integrity that are in line with the mission of Islamic education. In addition, this paper also examines how an integrative approach between professionalism and spirituality can be implemented in real terms in digital-based teacher selection

    Leadership is one of the important factors that can determine the success of educational institutions in achieving goals. The use of an appropriate leadership style, such as democratic leadership, can improve teacher performance and create a conducive learning atmosphere. This study aims to describe the application of democratic leadership style by the principal at SMK Miftahul Ulum Melirang and analyze its influence on teacher performance. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach using the type of field research.The results showed that: 1) Democratic leadership style is implemented through the involvement of teachers in the decision-making process, planning, and evaluation of school programs; 2) Supporting factors for the implementation of this leadership style include effective communication and collaborative work culture, while the main obstacles are lack of training and resistance to change. This study provides recommendations to improve the effectiveness of democratic leadership style in supporting educational success at SMK Miftahul Ulum Melirang

    This study aims to critically examine the values ​​of NU in responding to the political practices of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) which represents an Islamic political model based on the tarbiyah movement. The focus of this study is based on the differences in the characteristics of ideology and Islamic approaches between Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) which is moderate and based on the Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah tradition and PKS which tends to be scripturalist and ideological. This study uses the methodSystematic Literature Review (SLR)by reviewing literature from various national and international scientific journals in the period 2015–2025. The literature was analyzed through a process of identification, selection, and synthesis to gain a deep understanding of NU's response and attitude towards PKS's political style. The results of the study show that NU values ​​such as tawassuth (moderate), tasamuh (tolerant), tawazun (balanced), and i'tidal (fair) encourage a critical but non-confrontational attitude towards identity politics and political pragmatism carried out by PKS. NU's attitude tends to prioritize national ethics and the welfare of the people rather than the dominance of certain political ideologies. In conclusion, NU values ​​function as a balancer in the contestation of Islamic politics and offer an inclusive and contextual approach in dealing with the dynamics of religious politics in Indonesia

    The low level of active engagement and meaningful learning among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students highlights the need for a deeper and more contextualized learning approach. This study aims to examine the application of deep learning in MI education through three core approaches: meaningful learning, mindful learning, and joyful learning. The method employed is a literature review of 18 relevant national and international scholarly articles, analyzed thematically to explore implementation patterns, instructional strategies, and their impact on student learning outcomes. The findings reveal that the integration of these three approaches enhances student engagement, strengthens connections between subject matter and real-life contexts, and fosters reflective and enjoyable learning awareness. It is concluded that deep learning contributes positively to creating active, contextual, and meaningful learning in MI settings. The implication is that MI teachers need to design learning activities that promote deep understanding, self-awareness, and a joyful, collaborative learning environment

    Teacher work motivation is a major factor in the success of the learning process. Therefore, the success of an education will not be separated from the role of the principal's leadership, the principal's leadership is very important because the principal has a role in developing and achieving school goals. This study aims to determine the Leadership of Elementary School Principals in Ngamprah District, West Bandung Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, namely careful carving of certain social phenomena. The results of interviews in the field with the Principal and teachers in improving teacher Work Motivation. The first is the Principal's Leadership by looking at how the leadership and communication styles in the school, the principal's support, Appreciation and work environment. In order to improve teacher work motivation, effective communication steps are taken, opening communication between teachers, innovation in facilities and infrastructure that can support students and teachers in carrying out teaching and learning activities and creating a comfortable work environment. The influence of Principal Leadership in improving teacher work motivation can be established well because of Cooperation, a sense of belonging, togetherness between the principal, teachers, students and parents and the desire to be able to continue to progress and grow together

    Various challenges, problems, and obstacles faced by the Principal in facing the Merdeka curriculum in the 4.0 era, This study uses a survey method conducted online. The sample of this study was 35 Principals from both public and private schools in the Pesisir Selatan area. The instrument used was a questionnaire distributed online using the ms.form link. The technique used to analyze the data was qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that the implementation of schools in facing the Merdeka curriculum was very effective when viewed from the readiness of the Principal. From the results of the study, the results were obtained through a series of six indicators and eleven statements, the average number of statements obtained was 90% stating that the principal could manage developments in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 in increasing the Effective Use of the Merdeka Curriculum and 10% Principals were not yet effective in implementing the Merdeka curriculum because the facilities and infrastructure were inadequate. If the learning system using the Merdeka Curriculum is implemented sustainably, the principal will be 100% ready effectivel
