The success of extracurricular activity management is largely determined by the principal's leadership. The principal not only serves as a policy administrator but also as a key actor in mobilizing all school resources to ensure the effective and sustainable running of extracurricular activities. One of the principal's strategic roles is as a facilitator, ensuring the availability of facilities, infrastructure, policy support, and access to internal and external school resources. The development of students’ interests and talents through extracurricular activities is an integral part of education oriented toward character building and non-academic skills, in which the success of implementation is strongly influenced by the school principal’s leadership as a facilitator. This qualitative case study describes the principal’s role, challenges, and solutions in developing students’ interests and talents through extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat using interviews, observations, and documentation analyzed with the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings indicate that the principal actively facilitates extracurricular activities through the provision of facilities, policy support, and coordination with teachers, while addressing limitations in facilities, budget, and teachers’ workload through adaptive and contextual leadership strategies

This study analyzes the effectiveness of the planning and organizing strategies implemented by the Principal of SMKN 1 Plupuh. The main focus is evaluating data-based strategic management and strengthening work culture to achieve National Education Standards (SNP) to improve the quality of school education. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with the Principal and management team, direct observation of managerial activities, and document studies of quality report cards and the School Budget Work Plan. Data analysis compares field practices with POAC educational management theory. Findings indicate that planning begins with team coordination for data-based quality report card analysis and program priorities. Organizational development involves the formation of adaptive functional work teams such as the Internal Quality Assurance Team, with clear delegation of authority, SOPs, and job descriptions. Despite success, challenges include limited budgets from BOS/BOP funds and the consistency of the monitoring system. The novelty of this research is the integration of digital quality report card-based planning analysis with the collaborative work culture typical of SMKN 1 Plupuh Sragen Regency

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the LPDP (Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education) scholarship program in promoting equitable access to higher education, alumni contributions to national development, and the fair distribution of high-quality human resources (HR). Utilizing the CIPPO (Context, Input, Process, Product, Outcome) evaluation model, the research examines policy documents, LPDP annual reports, academic journals, and alumni testimonials. Findings reveal that while LPDP plays a strategic role as an educational investment instrument, it still faces challenges in accessibility, the effectiveness of affirmative action for underdeveloped regions, and a weak alumni tracer system. Despite successful alumni contributing to public, educational, and social sectors, their impact remains unstructured and untracked. Policy reform is recommended, including context-based selection criteria, robust post-study monitoring systems, and strengthened synergy among LPDP, local governments, and higher education institutions to ensure equitable and sustainable national human development

This study aims to describe the effect of jigsaw cooperative learning model and learning motivation together on students' ability to write explanatory text. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design (unequal pretest-posttest) pattern. The population in this study were all grade VI students in cluster 2 of Sungai Lasi kecematan consisting of 8 schools. In general, the jigsaw cooperative learning model (X1) has an effect of 13% on the ability to write explanatory text (Y) of elementary school students. However, the effect is still low as evidenced by the t-test result of -2.131. Learning motivation (X2) also has a significant effect of 56% on the ability to write explanatory text (Y) of elementary school students. The influence on motivation and ability to write explanatory text is evidenced by the results of the t test with a calculated t value of 2.561. The jigsaw cooperative learning model (X1) and learning motivation (X2) have an effect of 7.6% on the ability to write explanatory text (Y) of elementary school students. The effect of the jigsaw cooperative learning model and motivation together on the ability to write explanatory text is evidenced by the results of the f test of 3,585. The contribution of interest and motivation is 7.6%, the remaining 24% is influenced by factors outside the study. This is evidenced by the R2 value obtained in the multiple regression output of 0.076 or 7.6%

Critical thinking skills are very important in the world of education, because they can help students develop a deep understanding of a material and make the right decisions. Critical thinking is a skill that students need to identify problems well. Students' critical thinking skills are still low due to the use of conventional learning methods. As a solution, this study applies the RADEC model which involves active student interaction through various stages, such as reading, answering, discussing, explaining, and creating. The results of the analysis show that the application of this model increases students' posttest scores in the experimental class compared to the control class using traditional methods. The RADEC model not only improves understanding of the material, but also students' critical thinking skills. In conclusion, the RADEC model has proven effective in developing students' critical thinking skills, and is recommended to be applied more widely in various educational contexts to prepare students to face the challenges of the 21st century

Framing is a strategic approach in education that shapes stakeholders’ perspectives and interpretations of educational issues, policies, and practices. In the context of digital transformation in Indonesian education, framing serves as a critical instrument to support the implementation of technology that facilitates deep learning. This study aims to develop a framing model that enhances the adoption of educational technology in schools, focusing on improving teachers’ technological competencies and the effectiveness of strategic communication within educational environments. The research employs a conceptual literature review using content analysis of recent studies and scholarly literature. The findings reveal that an effective framing model consists of three key stages: diagnostic framing, which identifies challenges in technology integration; prognostic framing, which formulates pedagogical solutions based on technology; and motivational framing, which builds collective commitment towards digital transformation in schools. These findings emphasize that framing strategies can enhance collective awareness, strengthen collaboration, and promote the sustainable implementation of innovative deep learning practices. This model is expected to serve as a practical reference for school leaders, teachers, and policymakers in advancing the digital transformation of education in Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the influence of parental support, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, educational self-efficacy, access to college information, and socioeconomic status on students' interest in continuing their education to college. In addition, this study examines the mediating role of self-efficacy as well as the interaction between these factors in the Indonesian context. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method through a closed questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale. The findings provide new insights into the complexity of the determinants of interest in higher education in Indonesia, particularly the negative role of excessive parental support and the inconsistent influence of self-efficacy. The practical implications include the need for a more holistic approach in educational policies and counseling guidance programs involving parents and students. This study also fills a gap in the literature by examining the unique interaction between psychological, social and contextual factors in the Indonesian context, while questioning the universal assumption of a linear relationship between parental support and educational motivation. The findings on the negative effects of information overload also make a novel contribution to the literature discussion on educational decision-making
