    Motivated teachers will be better able to optimize three key aspects of learning: classroom management, utilization of learning resources, and control of learning dynamics, all of which require effective leadership support. Teachers work effectiveness reflects the quality of educational management, which is shaped not only by systemic structures but also by the internal dynamics of individual educators. This study aims to analyze the impact of organizational culture and work motivation on teacher work effectiveness. In the context of education, these faktors play an important role in improving the performance and productivity of educators. Using quantitative methods, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to teachers in schools in the MTS Ittihadul Mukhlisin Cibinong Bogor West Java area. The results showed that a positive organizational culture contributed significantly to teacher work motivation, which in turn increased their work effectiveness. In addition, high work motivation was proven to be a strong mediator between organizational culture and work effectiveness. These findings provide important implications for education managers in creating a supportive work environment, as well as motivation-enhancing strategies that can maximize teacher performance

    This research was motivated by the existence of students coming to school late, quarrelling with their friends, not doing schoolwork, neglecting the regulations made by the school, and littering. This study aims to describe: 1) Student discipline, 2) Student self-concept, 3) Relationship between self-concept and student discipline. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a correlational approach, which aims to describe and analyze data, and determine the relationship between self-concept variables and the discipline of class X students at MAN 1 Pasaman. The sampling population using the total sampling of the entire population is 52 students in class X. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. The data analysis in this study is percentage and correlation. The results of this study show that 1) Students' discipline is in the high category.2) Students' self-concept is in the high category.3) And there is a significant relationship between discipline and students' self-concept (0.305) the hypothesis is accepted that there is discipline towards self-concept. Increase discipline in the aspect of obeying school rules. BK teachers on student discipline problems perform group service

    This study aims to outline effective principal strategies in shaping students’ character as a response to the challenges posed by rapid social changes and the digital era in character education. The research employs a literature review method, analyzing various credible sources including books, national and international journal articles, and recent educational regulations. The findings reveal that student character development heavily depends on the integration of strengthening a religious and conducive school culture and environment, management and leadership by principals that is participative and structured, as well as the influence of both external and internal factors such as technology, parental involvement, and peer interactions. Principal strategies should encompass integrated character habituation programs, maintaining collaborative communication with all stakeholders, and managing adaptive and contextual character-based curricula. The novelty of this study lies in the comprehensive synthesis of principal strategies that combine cultural, leadership, and socio-technological dynamics, emphasizing the principal’s role as a change agent who facilitates holistic synergy in character education within schools. This study provides practical recommendations for stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of character education amid a globally dynamic environment

    This research is based on a phenomenon in the field, namely there are still students who are afraid to go to school, and there are students who are quiet and like to be alone, and there are students who are unable to adapt to the surrounding environment. The objectives of this study are 1) The mental health of SMAN 2 Batang Kapas students, 2) The effect of bullying of SMAN 2 Batang Kapas students, 3) The effect of bullying behavior on the mental health of SMAN 2 Batang Kapas students. This study uses a correlational quantitative research method. The population of this study is 30 people. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. The data analysis in this study is percentage and simple linear regression. Based on the research, the following results were obtained: 1) Bullying behavior of students is in the very low category, 2) Mental health of students is in the low category 3) There is a significant influence between bullying behavior on mental health at SMAN 2 Batang Kapas, which is 15.9%. Based on the results of this study, the researcher recommends to guidance and counseling teachers to continue to develop guidance programs that support the formation of students' character and behavior through appropriate approaches, and also recommend to students to increase confidence and the importance of mental health

    The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategic planning of Islamic education implemented at SMP Plus Darussalam Banyuwangi in realizing the vision and mission of the institution, with a focus on the integration of religious values and local culture.This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to analyze the strategic planning of Islamic education at SMP Plus Darussalam Banyuwangi. Data sources include in-depth interviews with principals, teachers, parents and stakeholders, direct observation at the school, and documentation such as strategic planning and annual reports. Data were thematically analyzed to identify patterns and themes that support or hinder strategic planning. This research aims to provide a holistic understanding of the implementation of strategic planning in Islamic education. The results of this study show that SMP Plus Darussalam Banyuwangi successfully integrates religious values, local culture and technology in educational strategic planning. The main focus on character education shapes students' noble morals according to Islamic teachings, while the active involvement of stakeholders ensures the relevance of the school's vision and mission to local needs. The flexibility of the curriculum allows for adaptation to the times without compromising traditional values

    This study aims to analyzes Learning Transformation Management at Sekolah Alam Depok, focusing on the integration of digital media and field practices. The background highlights the need for learning innovations that combine technological advances with nature-based approaches, while respecting the school's limitations on gadget use by students. A qualitative method with a case study approach was employed, involving observations and interviews with teachers and students. The results indicate that Learning Transformation Management at Sekolah Alam Depok successfully integrates digital media with field practices, enhancing student motivation and engagement. Students showed greater enthusiasm in learning activities that combined technology and outdoor practices. The use of digital media, such as educational videos and interactive presentations, clarified the understanding of concepts taught, even without personal devices. This integration made learning more contextual, engaging, and meaningful the novelty of this research lies in an effective learning management model that combines non-device digital media with outdoor learning practices, creating an innovative and adaptive learning environment suitable for nature-based schools in the digital age. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for other schools in developing relevant learning strategies

    Educational transformation through the Independent Curriculum requires adaptive, competency-based learning approaches that strengthen 21st-century skills, particularly critical thinking. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a strategic role in embedding spiritual, ethical, and social values into students' intellectual development. This study aims to determine the effect of the Independent Curriculum implementation on students’ critical thinking skills in PAI at SMA Negeri 1 Polokarto during the 2024/2025 academic year. Employing a quantitative correlational approach, data were collected via questionnaires and documentation and analyzed using simple linear regression. The findings indicate that both the level of curriculum implementation and students’ critical thinking abilities fall into the high category. A statistically significant effect was found, with the curriculum accounting for 38.1% of the variance in critical thinking skills. These results confirm that the Independent Curriculum serves as a strategic instrument in fostering higher-order thinking within PAI instruction. However, its effectiveness largely depends on teacher readiness, the quality of assessments, and institutional policy support. This study recommends strengthening teacher training and developing more contextual and reflective learning tools

    This study aims to examine the relationship between principal leadership and teacher participation in the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) at SMK Negeri 7 Sijunjung. The background of this research lies in the crucial role of school leadership in fostering a participatory, transparent, and accountable organizational climate, which is essential for the effective implementation of SBM and the improvement of educational service quality. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The population consisted of 32 permanent teachers at SMK Negeri 7 Sijunjung, while the principal was involved as a key informant to strengthen the contextual understanding of field data. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques, specifically the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The findings reveal that the principal’s leadership is in the very good category, with an average score of 4.21, while teacher participation is categorized as high, with an average score of 4.08. The correlation test results indicate a positive and significant relationship between principal leadership and teacher participation, with a coefficient of r = 0.742 (p < 0.05). These results confirm that the more effective the principal’s leadership, the higher the level of teacher participation in SBM implementation, which ultimately contributes to the improvement of educational service quality at the school

    This study aims to systematically review the influence of principals’ leadership styles and work motivation on teachers’ performance in vocational high schools (SMK) in Indonesia. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach was applied following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Thirty peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 were collected from Google Scholar and Publish or Perish based on inclusion criteria emphasizing vocational education context and the examination of at least two core variables. The synthesis results reveal that leadership styles have a positive and significant effect on teachers’ performance, while work motivation emerges as a key determinant driving teachers’ responsibility, professionalism, and creativity. Both variables show a synergistic relationship—supportive leadership enhances teachers’ motivation, which in turn strengthens teacher’s performance. The novelty of this research lies in its comprehensive synthesis that maps empirical consistency and identifies research gaps within the vocational education context, particularly among Indonesian SMKs. The study contributes theoretically to vocational education management literature and provides practical recommendations for principals to implement adaptive leadership styles that enhance teachers’ motivation and performance

    KAJIAN SEMANTIK: ANALISIS MAKNA LEKSIKAL PADA LIRIK LAGU “ALAMAK” KARYA RIZKY FEBIAN DAN ADRIAN KHALIF

    This study aims to describe the forms and lexical meanings contained in the lyrics of Alamak by Rizky Febian and Adrian Khalif using a semantic approach. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on a deep interpretation of word meanings based on the lyrical context without involving statistical calculations. The primary data are taken from the lyrics of Alamak, while the secondary data are obtained from various literature sources such as books, journals, and previous studies relevant to semantic analysis. The data were collected using the observation and note-taking techniques and then analyzed using theory of semantics. The results of this study show that there are 13 data points of lexical meaning found in the lyrics of Alamak. Among them, there are 6 instances of repetition, 3 instances of synonymy, and 4 instances of antonymy. Repetition is used to emphasize the songwriter’s emotional expression and to illustrate the intensity of deep love. Synonymy enriches the expression of love without losing its poetic nuance, while antonymy serves to highlight the contrast of meanings that reflect the inner conflict between happiness and suffering. It can be concluded that the lexical meanings in Alamak function not only as a means of aesthetic expression but also as a medium of psychological revelation that reflects dynamics human emotion in the context of love
