    Objective: This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SD 03 Ranah Batahan focusing on lesson planning, learning implementation, and assessment practices. Methods: The research used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving PAI teachers, school principals, and students. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Results: The findings reveal that planning documents such as ATP and Modul Ajar have been prepared, but their implementation varies according to teachers’ understanding. Learning activities generally follow the principles of differentiated learning; however, teachers still face challenges in applying diagnostic assessments consistently.     Objective : This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education learning media as an instrument for internalizing Islamic values at MTsN 4 Pasaman Barat. Methods: This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers and students, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. Results: The findings show that various learning media such as audio-visual media, digital presentations, Islamic educational videos, and contextual teaching aids significantly support the internalization of Islamic values, including faith (iman), worship (‘ibadah), and morals (akhlaq). The use of appropriate media increases students’ engagement, understanding, and practice of Islamic values in daily life. Novelty: This study highlights the integrative function of learning media not only as instructional tools but also as value-internalization instruments within Islamic education at the madrasah level

    Teacher performance is a key factor in determining the quality of primary education, as teachers play a direct role in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effects of Quality of Work Life, creativity, and interpersonal communication on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Dramaga District, Bogor Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative design. The research population consisted of all public elementary school teachers in Dramaga District, with a total of 146 respondents selected using a census technique. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that Quality of Work Life had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance with a significance value of 0.016, creativity had a positive and significant effect with a significance value of 0.002, and interpersonal communication had a positive and significant effect with a significance value of 0.039. Simultaneous testing indicated that Quality of Work Life, creativity, and interpersonal communication collectively had a significant effect on teacher performance with a significance value of 0.001. These findings indicate that improving the quality of work life, creativity, and interpersonal communication in an integrated manner plays an important role in enhancing teacher performance in elementary school

    This study aimed to study the level of achievement of primary school infrastructure standards in Banjarmasin City. This method of the research was intended to obtain data of the achievement of educational infrastructure. Results of the study showed that the level of achievement of primary school infrastructure reached 60,94%. This level of achievement still seems to be low partly due to the lack of insfrastructure which is still owned by the school. In addition, although the school already has the infrastructure of education, the quality conditions of many infrastructures suffered heavy damage so it unfit for use. Types of infrastructure its educational echievement is higher than average includes: classroom, the boardroom, the teachers’s room, and playground. On the contrary, the educational infrastructure is below average achievement including: school’s health unit, library, and restroom. The conclusion of this study is that the achievement of educational infrastructure in Banjarmasin city has not met the requirements of education national standards

    Poverty is a condition in which a person cannot meet basic needs. There are several reasons for poverty, such as a lack of resources to meet basic needs or difficulty obtaining education and employment. The purpose of this study is to describe social problems such as crime and poverty found in Andrea Hirata's novel Maryamah karpov. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The data consists of quotations from the novel text that show the types of poverty and crime experienced by the main character Ikal, and the surrounding community. The results of the study show that poverty in the novel is depicted as an economic obstacle that impacts access to education, the fulfillment of basic needs, and injustice in the work system. Meanwhile, crime is depicted as oppression, physical and psychological violence, and racial discrimination experienced by Ikal and other characters in the novel, both in the workplace and in educational institutions. The latest finding of this study is the disclosure of the relationship between poverty and crime as a representation of social inequality that is relevant to Indonesian society today. Andrea Hirata's novel Maryamah Karpov is a sharp social critique of an unfair social system, especially in remote areas such as Belitung

    This study aimed to develop a digital learning medium in the form of a flipbook integrated with Indonesian Sign Language (Bisindo) to support the early reading skills of students with hearing impairments. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adopting a modified 4D model limited to three main stages: define, design, and develop. Data collection instruments included observation sheets, interview guides, expert validation questionnaires (covering media, content, and Bisindo), and student practicality questionnaires. Data were gathered through observation, interviews, and product trials, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The results demonstrated that the developed digital flipbook was considered valid by experts in terms of content accuracy, visual quality, and its relevance to the learning needs of deaf students. Practicality testing also showed positive responses, with students expressing increased engagement and improved comprehension of reading material through the integration of text, images, and Bisindo videos. The presence of communicative visual elements played a key role in creating a more meaningful and enjoyable learning experience. In conclusion, the Bisindo-based flipbook offers an effective alternative medium to enhance early reading instruction for deaf students in educational settings

    Visual media is believed to help students understand reading better because it presents abstract concepts in concrete visual forms. This media also increases motivation, engagement, and active interaction between teachers and students. This research is motivated by the low reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 13 Pelangai Kecil. The purpose of this research is to describe the application and effectiveness of visual media in improving these skills. Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis & McTaggart model was conducted in three cycles with nine students as subjects. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation, then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that visual media increased teacher and student activity as well as learning outcomes. The average student score increased from 65.5 (Cycle I) to 72.2 (Cycle II) and reached 91.1 (Cycle III). Classical completion increased from 44.4% (Cycle I) to 55.6% (Cycle II) and 88.9% (Cycle III). The study concluded that image media effectively improved students' reading comprehension skills

    The application of audio-visual learning media in elementary schools, especially in Pancasila Education subjects, has an impact not only on the effectiveness of understanding the material but also on improving students' social skills. This study aims to determine the influence of audio-visual learning media on the learning interest of grade IV students in Pancasila Education subjects. The background of this research is based on the low interest of students in learning Pancasila Education material which is theoretical and contextual. The method used in this study is Kuantitative with a quasi-experimental approach, which involves two classes, namely the experimental class that uses audio-visual media and the control class that uses conventional methods. The data collection technique is by learning interest questionnaires, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the use of audio-visual learning media significantly increases students' interest in learning, which can be seen from the increased enthusiasm, attention and activeness of students during the learning process. The conclusion of this study is that audio visual learning media has a positive effect on increasing students' learning interest in Pancasila Education subjects

    In facing the challenges students face in reading, teachers need to be proactive in providing guidance to help them overcome obstacles that hinder the learning process. This research aims to explain the reading problems faced by students and the teachers' efforts to solve them in class I-VI of SDN 41 Karang Tangah. The method applied in this research is a qualitative approach. Researchers used various data collection techniques including observation, interviews and document analysis involving research subjects consisting of class I-VI homeroom teachers and class I-VI students at SDN 41 Karang Tangah. The research results showed that there were class I-VI students who experienced difficulties in reading, such as lack of reading fluency, frequent mistakes, difficulty in distinguishing similar letters, and errors in pronouncing words or sound symbols. The efforts taken by teachers to overcome the reading difficulties of class I-VI students at SDN 41 Karang Tangah, have been quite effective. Teachers use interesting and interactive learning methods, such as picture letter books, and strengthen students' self-confidence and motivation through praise. In addition, teachers do not blame students and provide special remedial programs to improve their reading skills

    The development of the digital era has accelerated the dissemination of cultural information, including oral traditions, which are an important heritage of the Lampung people. One distinctive oral tradition that has received attention is memmang, a form of spell steeped in magical and spiritual values. This study aims to describe the existence of the memmang tradition in Lampung society, uncover its function and meaning, and preserve its preservation amidst the dynamics of modernization and globalization. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and document analysis, including traditional manuscripts as the primary source. The results show that memmang plays a central role in the social life and beliefs of the Lampung people, but is facing a decline in function due to changes in social values, religious influences, and minimal regeneration from the younger generation. Nevertheless, this tradition is still preserved to a limited extent by several communities through oral inheritance and written documentation. This study emphasizes the importance of documentation efforts, cultural education, and the use of digital technology so that the memmang oral tradition can continue to live and be relevant in the modern era
